BELLEVIEW — Earl W. Minster, 78, a retired correction's specialist, died Thursday, Nov. 15, 2001, in Ocala.
A native of Adrian, Mich., he moved here from Manitou Beach, Mich., in 1987. Mr. Minster retired from State Prison of Southern Michigan after 31 years. He was a member of Ascension Lutheran Church. Mr. Minster served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Matilda A. Minster, Belleview; daughters, Gail McGuire, Hudson, Mich., and Sheila Vogtmann, Ashtabula, Ohio; brother, Paul Minster, Park Forest, Ill.; and four grandchildren.

OCALA — Beatrice E. Przebel, 94, a retired secretary for Cleveland Trust Co., died Thursday, Nov. 15, 2001, at home.
A native of Cleveland, she moved here in 1973. Ms. Przebel was Catholic.
Survivors include her nieces, Judy Agnew, Ocklawaha, and Marianne Rutherford, Reddick; and nephew, Robert Stemmle, Melbourne.

OLIVER, British Columbia — Anton Sluchimski, 65, a retired restaurant owner, died Sunday, Nov. 11, 2001, at Munroe Regional Medical Center.
A native of Bruno, Saskatchewan, he was a Silver Springs Shores winter resident. Mr. Sluchimski was Catholic.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret Glutek Sluchimski, Oliver; daughter, Debra Armstrong, Calgary, Alberta; sons, Gordon Sluchimski, Calgary, and Douglas Jones, Edson, Alberta; brothers, Roy Sluchimski, Humboldt, Saskatchewan, and Garry Sluchimski, St. Albert, Alberta; and four grandchildren.

INGLIS — Robert A. Springer, 80, a retired sheet-metal worker, died Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2001.
A native of Detroit, he moved here from Tampa 17 years ago. Mr. Springer was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 8698. He served in the U.S. Navy.

ORANGE LAKE — Maureen M. Stier, 89, a retired Realtor for Burnham Real Estate in New York, died Friday, Nov. 16, 2001, at Alachua Nursing Center in Gainesville.
A native of Belfast, Northern Ireland, she moved to Orange Lake from Fort Lauderdale in 1990. Mrs. Stier was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church and was a auxiliary member of the Mattydale Fire Department. She loved to sing and dance.
Survivors include her son, Arthur A. Stier, Spring Hill; daughter, Maureen Brocato, Orange Lake; eight grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.

Born in Kokomo, Ind., Mr. Jones moved to Ocala from Fort Lauderdale in 1973. A member of the Forest United Methodist Church, he was also a member of the Memorial Morning Star Masonic Lodge and Scottish Rites.

Born in Kentucky, he moved to Ocala from Philadelphia about 12 years ago. Mr. Lawson was a member of the Countryside Presbyterian Church and Operating Engineers Local 542 in Philadelphia. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

Born in East St. Louis, Ill., he moved to Ocala from Kansas City, Mo., about 19 years ago. He was Methodist. Mr. Tucker was active in the Elks Lodge, a past president of the Lions Club and a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy.
