SUMMERFIELD — Catherine Turkowski, 80, a retired bookkeeper, died Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2001, at her home.
A native of Manitowac, Wis., she moved here from Waukesha, Wis., in 1981.
Ms. Turkowski was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church.
She is survived by a nephew, Donald J. Klein, Waukesha.

BEVERLY HILLS — Oskar Nowakowski, 81, a retired corporate analyst chemist, died Saturday, Dec. 8, 2001.
A native of Poland, he moved here from New Jersey in 1988. Mr. Nowakowski retired from Refined Onyx Corp., after 15 years.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Tamara Zgun Nowakowski, Beverly Hills; and daughters, Margaret Eagan and Elizabeth Quirk, both of New Jersey.

OCALA — Joseph Ortiz, 74, a retired clerk, died Friday, Dec. 7, 2001.
A native of Tampa, he moved here from Miami in 1991. Mr. Ortiz was a member of Silver Springs Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge No. 1199. He served in the U.S. Army.

SUMMERFIELD — Arthur Eugene Sutton, 84, a retired factory worker for Dana Corp., died Saturday, Dec. 8, 2001, at Leesburg Regional Medical Center.
A native of Vinton, Ill., he moved here from Illinois in 1982. Mr. Sutton served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Pye Sutton, Summerfield; daughters, Joyce Williamson, Frenchburg, Ky., and Janice Gosser, Glendale Heights, Ill.; sons, Cecil Ward, Omaha, Neb., and David Ward, Oak Ridge, Tenn.; 16 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

A native of Jacksonville, she moved to Interlachen from Gainesville 16 years ago. Mrs. Truman was a member of First Baptist Church of Interlachen.

Mrs. Cote was a former resident of Ocala. She was a member of Our Lady of the Spring Catholic Church and volunteered at Brother's Keeper.
She was preceded in death by a son, George Cote.
