BEVERLY HILLS Adolph "Al" M. Ercha, 85, a retired meat cutter, died Thursday, Dec. 27, 2001, at Life Care of Citrus County in Lecanto.
A native of Salem, Mass., he moved here in 1985. Mr. Ercha retired from P.W. Rounsville Co., after 35 years. He was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Greek Orthodox Church in Lecanto. Mr. Ercha served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II.
Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Jean A. Ercha, Beverly Hills; stepdaughter, Gillian R. Craig, Halifax, Nova Scotia; brother, Stephen Ercha, Melbourne; and two step-grandchildren.

OCALA Michael V. Gennaro, 74, a retired warehouse manager, died Friday, Dec. 28, 2001, at his home.
A native of Brooklyn, N.Y., he moved here from New York in 1979. Mr. Gennaro served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of the Pentecostal Church, Italian-American Club and Bocci Club.

BEVERLY HILLS Stephen "Steve" John Malleck, 85, a retired maintenance supervisor, died Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2001, at Seven Rivers Community Hospital in Crystal River.
A native of New London, Conn., he moved here from Waterford, Conn., in 1984. Mr. Malleck was a member of St. Scholastica Catholic Church, Lecanto; Knights of Columbus Council No. 6168, Beverly Hills; Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 10087, Beverly Hills; and past grand knight of Knights of Columbus. He served in the U.S. Army.

A native of Andersonville, Tenn., she moved here from Knoxville, Tenn., 63 years ago. Mrs. McDermitt was an active member of First Baptist Church of Summerfield.

A native of Mufflinburg, Pa., he moved here from Girard, Pa., in 1980. Mr. Miles was a member of First Christian Church. He served in the Merchant Marine during World War II.

CANDLER Walter E. Engdahl, Sr., 92, a retired civil service worker, died Friday, Dec. 28, 2001.
A native of Norwich, Conn., he moved here from Greenacres in September. Mr. Engdahl was a steam and electric power plant operator with the U.S. Navy. He was a member of First Baptist Church in West Palm Beach, the Masonic Lodge of Norwich, Conn., and the VFW in Greenacres.
A veteran of World War II, he was a survivor of the attack on Pearl Harbor.
