Selma G. Schwartz, 70, died Friday morning at Norton
Healthcare Pavilion Hospice Unit.She was the former
Selma Greenwald, a member of Keneseth Israel, The Temple,
the National Council of Jewish Women - Louisville Chapter,
and the Temple Sisterhood.
She is survived by: her husband, Aron Schwartz; a daughter,
Taryn Spake; a son, Steven Bass; a brother, Murray J. Greenwald;
and one grandchild.
Funeral services will be at 1:00pm today with visitation beginning
after 12:00 noon.Interment
will follow in Keneseth Israel Cemetery,
719 Locust Lane.
Shiva will be held at 2405 Merrick Road at 5:00 today.

Evelyn R. Loeser, 83, died Thursday afternoon at Baptist
Hospital East.She was preceded in death by her husband,
Leon J. Loeser, was the former Evelyn Rosen, a member of
Hadassah and a member of Keneseth Israel Congregation.
She is survived by: a daughter, Janet Geron; a son, Alan J.
Loeser; and a sister, Libby Frank.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00am with interment
following in Keneseth Israel Cemetery, 719 Locust Lane.

Melvin "Moishe" Bellman, 78, died Friday at his home. He was a
native of Minneapolis, a retired manager for various restaurants in
Minneapolis and an Army veteran of World War II. Survivors: a sister,
Evelyn Sabes; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside service: 12:30 p.m. Sunday, Adath Jeshurun Cemetery.

David J. Gradman, died Friday morning in Palm Beach, Florida.
He was a retired financial advisor, the chairman of the Palm
Beach Bicentennial Committee, a leader in educating consumers
onbusiness finance, the founder of Colonial Acceptance
Corporation, he was on the board of the Jewish Federation
of Chicago and a member of Keneseth Israel Congregation.
He is survived by:two sons, Martin A. Gradman, of Chicago and
Lawrence Gradman, of Scotch Plains, New Jersey; a sister, Dorothy
Ludmer; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held graveside today at 1:00pm, at the
Keneseth Israel Cemetery, 719 Locust Lane.

Inpatient Unit.Mr. Cohen was a retired inspector for the
Louisville Water Company.

Cohen; two sisters, Idah Michelson and Sylvia Kanter; and two
grandchildren.

Rosenberg.

Organization.

Douenias and Gayle Zahler; and two grandchildren, Marisa
Douenias and Benjamin Wachs.

Elizabeth Lynn Rhodes, 51, died Thursday evening at University
Hospital.She was the former Elizabeth Mitchell and a native of
Owensboro, Kentucky.Mrs. Rhodes was a professional driver of
both tour buses and eighteen wheelers.She was also a construction
worker, a published historian, volunteer at Wayside Christian Mission,
she was honored for writing and publishing at the University of Kentucky,
and she had earned her masters degree at Morgan State.
She is survived by:a daughter, Shannon L. Rhodes; two sisters, Donna
Davis and Becky Mattingly; three brothers, Frankie, Terry and Chris
Mitchell; and her parents, Franklin and Jane Mitchell.
Visitation will be held from 4:30pm today until 7:00pm tonight.
