JOHN KUPKE OF POTOSI, MISSOURI WAS BORN AT ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI ON OCTOBER 27, 1919. HE WAS THE SON OF THE LATE HENRY AND FAYE ( WILEY) KUPKE. JOHN DEPARTED THIS LIFE AT HIS RESIDENCE IN POTOSI, MISSOURI ON MAY 25, 2001 HAVING REACHED THE AGE OF EIGHTY ONE YEARS, SIX MONTHS, AND TWENTY EIGHT DAYS.
JOHN WAS UNITED IN MARRIAGE TO HELEN (EASTERDAY) KUPKE ON JUNE 25, 1943 IN ANNAPOLIS, MARYLAND. TO THIS UNION THEY HAD FOUR CHILDREN.
HE IS SURVIVED BY TWO SONS; JOHN A. KUPKE AND WIFE ARLINE OF ANNAPOLIS, MARYLAND AND JOSEPH A. KUPKE OF PLANO, TEXAS, TWO DAUGHTERS; CAROL SUE LOEW AND HUSBAND CHARLES OF SAUCIER, MISSISSIPPI AND H. MARIE COOK OF WASHINGTON, MISSOURI, ELEVEN GRANDCHILDREN AND THIRTEEN GREAT GRANDCHILDREN; ONE SISTER BETTY BANES OF ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI. IN ADDITION TO HIS PARENTS HE WAS ALSO PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HIS BROTHER VINCENT KUPKE AND TWO SISTERS; MARGARET SCHWEPPE AND DOROTHY BAUMGARTNER.
JOHN HAD SERVED THIS COUNTRY IN THE UNITED STATES ARMY. HE WAS A SERGEANT OF THE 33RD FIGHTER CONTROL SQUAD, HE WAS AWARDED 3 BRONZE STARS AND THE GOOD CONDUCT MEDAL. JOHN SERVED IN NEW GUINEA AND BISMARCK ARCHIPELAGO, LUZON. JOHN RECEIVED AN HONORABLE DISCHARGE ON NOVEMBER 30, 1945.
JOHN WAS A RANKING CHESS MASTER IN THE UNITED STATES AND PLAYED CORRESPONDENCE CHESS. HE ENJOYED WORKING, CARING FOR HIS YARD AND WATCHING BIRDS. JOHN WOULD RELAX WITH A GOOD BOOK TO READ OR CHECKING OUT THE PAST HISTORY OF THE WORLD.
JOHN HAD A GREAT "MANS BEST FRIEND", HIS NAME WAS SHORTY. HE AND JOHN BECAME GREAT FRIENDS AND COMPANIONS. SHORTY PRECEDED JOHN IN DEATH AFTER BEING WITH THE FAMILY FOR TWELVE YEARS ON MAY 7, 2001.
VISITATION WAS HELD MONDAY, MAY 28, 2001, FROM 10:00 A.M. TO 2:00 P.M. AT MOORE FUNERAL HOME IN POTOSI.
FUNERAL SERVICES WERE CONDUCTED MONDAY, MAY 28, 2001, AT 2:00 P.M. WITH REVEREND MICHAEL ROSE OFFICIATING.
ALL SERVICES WERE UNDER THE DIRECTION OF MOORE FUNERAL HOME, POTOSI.
GERTRUDE MARY BOURBON
GERTRUDE MARY BOURBON OF CADET, MISSOURI WAS BORN AT OLD MINES, MISSOURI ON OCTOBER 13, 1915. SHE WAS THE DAUGHTER OF THE LATE TIMON AND ROSIA (JULIETTE) COLEMAN. GERTRUDE DEPARTED THIS LIFE AT HER HOME IN CADET, MISSOURI ON JUNE 4, 2001 HAVING REACHED THE AGE OF EIGHTY FIVE YEARS, SEVEN MONTHS, AND TWENTY TWO DAYS.
GERTRUDE WAS UNITED IN MARRIAGE TO HOWARD "RED" BOURBON ON NOVEMBER 21, 1937 IN OLD MINES, MISSOURI. RED PRECEDED HIS WIFE IN DEATH ON MARCH 1, 1970.
SHE IS SURVIVED BY SIX DAUGHTERS; JEAN ECKHOFF OF POTOSI, MARTHA AUBUCHON AND HUSBAND LEON OF CADET, RUTH BOURBON OF SPRINGFIELD, CONNIE COURTWAY AND HUSBAND BUTCH OF POTOSI, DONNA EMILY AND HUSBAND RAYMOND OF CADET AND NAN AUBUCHON AND HUSBAND ALAN OF CADET. SIX SONS; KENNETH BOURBON AND WIFE ANNA LEE OF GRAY, Tennessee, JIMMY BOURBON AND WIFE BETTY OF DESOTO, DONALD BOURBON AND WIFE MARY OF CADET, RONALD BOURBON AND WIFE PEGGY OF CADET, FRANK BOURBON AND WIFE KAREN OF POTOSI AND VERNON BOURBON AND WIFE BECKY OF POTOSI. SHE IS ALSO SURVIVED BY SIXTY- SIX GRANDCHILDREN, NINETY- NINE GREAT GRANDCHILDREN AND NINE GREAT GREAT GRANDCHILDREN, TWO SISTERS; DELORIS O'HANLON OF BAY ST. LOUIS, MISSISSIPPI AND ANNA ECHARDT OF FLORIDA. IN ADDITION TO HER PARENTS AND HUSBAND SHE WAS ALSO PRECEDED IN DEATH BY ONE DAUGHTER CAROL ELSEY, ONE SON HOWARD BOURBON, FIVE GRANDCHILDREN; GARLAND AUBUCHON, BOBBY COURTWAY JR., JACOB EMILY, JANET BOURBON AND STEPHANIE BOURBON, TWO SISTERS, SISTER MARIE COLEMAN AND CECILIA COLEMAN, FIV BROTHERS, LEO COLEMAN, LENNIS (SLICK) COLEMAN, THADDEUS LOU COLEMAN, VINCENT COLEMAN AND JOSEPH (BO-BO) COLEMAN AND BY ONE SON-IN-LAW; PHILLIP ELESEY.
GERTRUDE WAS A LIFE LONG MEMBER OF THE ST. JOSEPH AND ST. JOACHIM CATHOLIC CHURCHES.
GERTRUDE ENJOYED CRAFTING AND TOOK GREAT PRIDE IN HER FLOWER BEDS. HER FONDEST MEMORIES SURROUNDED HER FAMILY AND FRIENDS. EACH OF THEM HELD A VERY DEAR PLACE IN HER HEART.
VISITATION WAS HELD WEDNESDAY, JUNE 7, 2001, FROM 2:00 P.M. TO 9:00 P.M. AT MOORE FUNERAL HOME IN POTOSI.
A FUNERAL MASS WAS CELEBRATED THURSDAY, JUNE 8, 2001, AT 10:00 A.M. AT ST. JOACHIM CATHOLIC CHURCH WITH FATHER TED PIEPER OFFICIATING. BURIAL WAS IN ST. JOACHIM CEMETERY UNDER THE DIRECTION OF MOORE FUNERAL HOME, POTOSI.
SERVING AS PALLBEARERS WERE, KEITH BOURBON, FRANK BOURBON, JR., DONALD BOURBON, JR., SCOTT COURTWAY, KEVIN AUBUCHON AND GARY ECKHOFF.
ADOLPH CLINTON GOETZ
CLINTON GOETZ OF BISMARCK, MISSOURI, WAS BORN FEBRUARY 14, 1939, IN BISMARCK, MISSOURI, A SON OF ADOLPH OTTO AND JULIA AUGUSTA (LAYTON) GOETZ. CLINTON DEPARTED THIS LIFE AT MINERAL AREA REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER AS THE RESULT OF A FARMING ACCIDENT ON JUNE 9, 2001, HAVING REACHED THE AGE OF SIXTY-TWO YEARS, THREE MONTHS AND TWENTY-SIX DAYS.
CLINTON WAS UNITED IN MARRIAGE TO WANDA MARLER ON SEPTEMBER 17, 1960, IN IRONDALE, MISSOURI, AND TO THIS UNION TWO DAUGHTERS WERE BORN.
CLINTON IS SURVIVED BY HIS LOVING AND DEVOTED WIFE WANDA GOETZ OF BISMARCK, TWO DAUGHTERS, KATHY JUDLIN AND HUSBAND JACK OF BISMARCK, YVONNE GRAHAM AND HUSBAND DOUG OF BISMARCK, TWO GRANDSONS, ETHAN AND ELI GRAHAM, TWO SISTERS, BEULAH MARLER OF IRONDALE AND LINDA DUNLEAVY AND HUSBAND PAT OF IRONTON AND BY MANY OTHER RELATIVES AND FRIENDS. CLINTON WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HIS FATHER, ADOLPH OTTO GOETZ AND HIS MOTHER, JULIA AUGUSTA GOETZ.
CLINTON HAD A GREAT LOVE FOR HIS FAMILY ESPECIALLY HIS GRANDSONS, HE ALWAYS FOUND TIME TO TEACH THEM THE TRADES OF THE FARM, THE ADVANTAGES OF BEING A GRANDCHILD AND THE WAYS FOR BECOMING AN ADULT. EACH OF THEM HELD A VERY DEAR PLACE IN HIS HEART. CLINTON WAS A DEDICATED FARMER AND ENJOYED ALL THE HOURS HE SPENT WORKING ON THE FAMILY FARM.
VISITATION WAS HELD MONDAY, JUNE 11, 2001, FROM 3:00 P.M. TO 9:00 P.M. AT MOORE FUNERAL HOME IN IRONDALE.
FUNERAL SERVICES WERE CONDUCTED TUESDAY, JUNE 12, 2001, AT 1:00 P.M. AT THE MOORE CHAPEL WITH REVEREND RONALD GRAHAM OFFICIATING. BURIAL WAS IN ODD FELLOWS CEMETERY UNDER THE DIRECTION OF MOORE FUNERAL HOME, IRONDALE.
SERVING AS PALLBEARERS WERE, JASON MARLER, CLIFF MARLER, RANDY MARLER, EUGENE SOHN, RODNEY TWOMEY AND ROBBIE CROCKER. SERVING AS HONORARY PALLBEARER WAS, BUTCH MARLER.

EUGENE CARRON OF POTOSI, MISSOURI WAS BORN MONDAY, NOVEMBER 23, 1936 IN BLOOMSDALE, MISSOURI. A SON OF THE LATE EUGENE FRANCIS AND OTILLA (KEMPFER) CARRON. EUGENE DEPARTED THIS LIFE SUDDENLY TUESDAY, JUNE 12, 2001 IN HERMITAGE, Tennessee AT THE AGE OF SIXTY-FOUR YEARS, SIX MONTHS AND TWENTY DAYS.
EUGENE WAS UNITED IN MARRIAGE TO JUDY LECLERE IN BLOOMSDALE, MISSOURI. THEY WERE BLESSED TO HAVE FOUR CHILDREN BORN.
EUGENE IS SURVIVED BY HIS LOVING AND DEVOTED WIFE JUDY CARRON OF POTOSI, MISSOURI; THREE DAUGHTERS, KIMBERLY CARRON OF SPRING TOWN, MISSOURI, VIRGINIA MINNER AND HUSBAND BOB OF HENDERSONVILLE, Tennessee, GINIA MALUGEN AND HUSBAND WAYNE OF POTOSI, MISSOURI; ONE SON, EUGENE CARRON AND WIFE CHERYL OF FLETCHER, MISSOURI; ELEVEN GRANDCHILDREN; ONE BROTHER, GLENNON CARRON AND WIFE JERRI OF KINSEY, MISSOURI; TWO SISTERS, AGNES MCCLENNAHAN AND MARY SCHWENT BOTH OF BLOOMSDALE, MISSOURI AND BY MANY OTHER RELATIVES AND FRIENDS. IN ADDITION TO HIS PARENTS, EUGENE WAS ALSO PRECEDED IN DEATH BY TWO BROTHERS, JOE AND REINHARDT ROTH; ONE SISTER, HILDA COTTRELL.
EUGENE ENJOYED THE GIFTS OF MOTHER NATURE AND ALWAYS FOUND TIME TO HUNT AND FISH. HE WAS AN AVID FAN OF FOOTBALL AND BASEBALL, ALWAYS TAKING TIME TO WATCH A GAME OR SHARE THOUGHTS OF A TEAM.
EUGENE WAS A VETERAN OF THE UNITED STATES ARMY WHERE HE SERVED HIS COUNTRY AND FELLOW MAN FROM APRIL 19, 1959 TO FEBRUARY 17, 1965.
EUGENE WAS AN OWNER OPERATOR TRUCKER WHERE HE HAD TRAVELED THE COUNTRY AND CONTINUED HIS SERVICE TO PEOPLE.
VISITATION WAS HELD THURSDAY, JUNE 14, 2001, FROM 4:00 P.M. TO 9:00 P.M. AT MOORE FUNERAL HOME IN POTOSI.
FUNERAL SERVICES WERE CONDUCTED FRIDAY, JUNE 15, 2001, AT 11:00 A.M. WITH REVEREND BILL WARREN OFFICIATING. BURIAL WAS IN HORINE CEMETERY UNDER THE DIRECTION OF MOORE FUNERAL HOME, POTOSI.
