BURL IS SURVIVED BY HIS LOVING AND DEDICATED SON CURTISS HUFF OF PARK HILLS; ONE GRAND SON, CURTISS SELLERS; ONE BROTHER, RAYMOND HUFF AND WIFE JAY OF VIRGINIA; ONE SISTER, SANDRA HUNT OF ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI AND BY MANY OTHER RELATIVES AND FRIENDS.
BURL WAS A LONGTIME MEMBER OF LOCAL #718, DESOTO, MISSOURI. HE LOVED THE MANY GIFTS OF MOTHER NATURE AND ENJOYED SPENDING TIME HUNTING AND FISHING.
BURL CHERISHED THE TIME SPENT WITH HIS GRANDSON AND ALWAYS LOOKED FORWARD TO THE TIME THEY COULD SHARE.
VISITATION WAS HELD WEDNESDAY, JULY 25, 2001, FROM 5:00 P.M. TO 9:00 P.M. AT MOORE FUNERAL HOME IN IRONDALE.
FUNERAL SERVICES WERE CONDUCTED THURSDAY, JULY 26, 2001, AT 1:00 P.M. AT THE IRONDALE CHAPEL WITH REVEREND DAVE WELKER OFFICIATING. BURIAL WAS IN BISMARCK MASONIC Cemetery, UNDER THE DIRECTION OF MOORE FUNERAL HOME, IRONDALE.
SERVING AS PALLBEARERS WERE, JOE BARTON, IVAN FULKNER, BOBBY BARTON, DEAN DAVIS AND J.B. STEVENS.

IRENE GLADYS PERRY
IRENE GLADYS PERRY OF IRONDALE, MISSOURI, WAS BORN JUNE 20, 1907, IN BONNE TERRE, MISSOURI, A DAUGHTER OF EDWARD LEE AND MARY ZOAH (SNEAD) DIXON. IRENE DEPARTED THIS LIFE AT DESLOGE HEALTH CARE ON JULY 25, 2001, HAVING REACHED THE AGE OF NINETY-FOUR YEARS, ONE MONTH AND FIVE DAYS.
IRENE WAS UNITED IN MARRIAGE TO GILBERT HIRAM PERRY ON JUNE 29, 1925, IN EDWARDSVILLE, ILLINOIS, AND WERE BLESSED WITH EIGHT CHILDREN.
IRENE IS SURVIVED BY FOUR SONS, LINDELL "BUDDY" PERRY AND WIFE MARILYN OF ALBUQUERQUE, NEW MEXICO, BOB PERRY AND WIFE VELMA OF PARK HILLS, BARRY PERRY OF IRONDALE, KENNETH PERRY AND WIFE DIANE OF DESLOGE, THREE DAUGHTERS, DARLENE (WILLIAMS) MOORE AND HUSBAND KEN OF DESLOGE, MARLENE BARBEE AND HUSBAND HOWARD OF IRONDALE, KAY ABRAM AND HUSBAND BILL OF BRIDGETON, EIGHTEEN GRANDCHILDREN, TWENTY- EIGHT GREAT GRANDCHILDREN, FIVE GREAT GREAT GRANDCHILDREN, AND BY MANY OTHER RELATIVES AND FRIENDS. IRENE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HER PARENTS, EDWARD AND MARY DIXON, HER HUSBAND GILBERT PERRY, ONE DAUGHTER, DELORES L. PERRY, ONE GRANDSON, DARRELL WAYNE PERRY, ONE GREAT GRANDSON JUSTIN AAHRON PERRY, TWO SISTERS, PEARL HILL AND NETTIE WELCH AND BY TWO BROTHERS, CLARENCE AND ROY DIXON, ONE SON-IN-LAW JOHNNIE WILLIAMS AND BY MANY NIECES AND NEPHEWS.
IRENE WAS A LONGTIME MEMBER OF THE IRONDALE FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH. SHE WAS VERY ACTIVE WITH ITS' MANY ACTIVITIES AND A SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHER. SHE ENJOYED SPENDING TIME IN HER VEGETABLE AND FLOWER GARDENS, QUILTING, CROCHETING AND MAKING CRAFTS WAS HER RELAXATION. IRENE WOULD TAKE THE FRUITS OF HER LABOR FROM HER VEGETABLE GARDEN AND CAN THEM FOR YEAR AROUND ENJOYMENT.
VISITATION WAS HELD FRIDAY, JULY 27, 2001, FROM 5:00 P.M. TO 9:00 P.M. AT MOORE FUNERAL HOME IN IRONDALE.
FUNERAL SERVICES WERE CONDUCTED SATURDAY, JULY 28, 2001, AT 1:00 P.M. AT THE IRONDALE FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH WITH REVEREND BRUCE TORRENCE OFFICIATING. BURIAL WAS IN BIG RIVER CEMETERY UNDER THE DIRECTION OF MOORE FUNERAL HOME, IRONDALE.
SERVING AS PALLBEARERS WERE, LINDELL BARBEE, RANDY BARBEE, MARK PERRY, KEITH PERRY, JEREMY PORTER AND SCOTT PORTER.

HAROLD RUSSELL LEWIS
HAROLD LEWIS OF IMPERIAL, MISSOURI, WAS BORN JUNE 18, 1938, IN POTOSI, MISSOURI, A SON OF EUGENE DEBS AND HAZEL M. (ALLEN) LEWIS. HAROLD DEPARTED THIS LIFE ST. ANTHONY'S MEDICAL CENTER ON JULY 31, 2001, HAVING REACHED THE AGE OF SIXTY-THREE YEARS ONE MONTH AND THIRTEEN DAYS.
HAROLD WAS UNITED IN MARRIAGE TO LULA BELLE THOMPSON ON JUNE 6, 1956, IN POTOSI, MISSOURI, THEY WERE BLESSED WITH FOUR CHILDREN.
HAROLD IS SURVIVED BY HIS LOVING WIFE, LULA BELLE LEWIS OF IMPERIAL, ONE SON RYAN LEWIS AND WIFE SHERRI OF LEE'S SUMMIT, THREE DAUGHTERS, DEBRA LEWIS OF ARNOLD, DENISE LEWIS OF ARNOLD, SANDRA KLAFFENBACH AND HUSBAND DAVID OF BATTLE GROUND, WASHINGTON, FIVE GRANDCHILDREN, DANIELLE KLAFFENBACH, ELIZABETH KLAFFENBACH, SPENCER TRUMP, LAUREN TRUMP AND ETHAN LEWIS, ONE SISTER, BETTY SKAGGS OF POTOSI AND BY MANY NIECES, NEPHEWS OTHER RELATIVES AND FRIENDS. HAROLD WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HIS PARENTS, EUGENE AND HAZEL LEWIS AND ONE BROTHER, HOWARD LEWIS, SR.
HAROLD WAS AN AVID SPORTS FAN, HE COACHED LITTLE LEAGUE DURING HIS YOUNGER YEARS, ENJOYED WATCHING ALL TYPES OF BALL GAMES AND TOOK GREAT PRIDE IN TRAVELING TO WATCH HIS SON PLAY COLLEGE FOOTBALL. HAROLD ENJOYED CAMPING WITH HIS FAMILY AND RESEARCHING AND COLLECTING CLASSIC MINIATURE TRUCKS. HE ENJOYED RELAXING TO READ ANY TYPE OF BOOK. HAROLD GREATLY CHERISHED HIS GRANDCHILDREN AND EACH OF THEM HELD A VERY DEAR PLACE IN HIS HEART.
