GEORGE IS SURVIVED BY HIS WIFE, MARY BELLE RICHESON OF POTOSI, ONE SON, ROBERT RICHESON AND WIFE ARLINE OF POTOSI, THREE DAUGHTERS, RUTH GIBSON AND HUSBAND WAYNE OF BELGRADE, LAVERNE RATLIFF AND HUSBAND DOW OF GREENLAND, ARKANSAS, FAYE EYE AND HUSBAND PAUL OF ARNOLD, ELEVEN GRANDCHILDREN, EIGHT GREAT GRANDCHILDREN, TWO BROTHERS, BILL RICHESON AND WIFE MELADEAN OF IMPERIAL, OWEN "RICHIE" RICHESON AND WIFE BETTY OF POTOSI, ONE SISTER, ANN PRICE AND HUSBAND CLAUDE OF FARMINGTON. IN ADDITION TO HIS PARENTS HE WAS ALSO PRECEDED IN DEATH BY TWO SISTERS, CHLOE HENRY, MYRTLE "BEE" WELLMEYER, THREE BROTHERS, PAUL, JOHN AND OTTO RICHESON AND ONE GREAT GRANDSON, JEFFREY PARKS.
GEORGE WAS A LONG TIME MEMBER OF THE BRETON CREEK BAPTIST CHURCH.
GEORGE WAS A WELL KNOWN PAINTER IN THE LOCAL AREA. HE ENJOYED THE MANY GIFTS OF NATURE AND LOVED TO SPEND TIME FISHING, HUNTING AND GARDENING. GEORGE ENJOYED SITTING AND REMINISCING THE OLD DAYS.
GEORGE HAD A GREAT LOVE FOR HIS FAMILY ESPECIALLY HIS GRANDCHILDREN, EACH OF THEM HELD A VERY DEAR PLACE IN HIS HEART.
VISITATION WAS HELD SUNDAY, MARCH 14, 1999, FROM 3:30 P.M. TO 9:00 P.M. AT THE GUM & SON FUNERAL HOME IN POTOSI.

DON GAVE HIS HEART TO CHRIST WHEN HE WAS A LITTLE BOY OF ABOUT ELEVEN YEARS AND HAS BEEN AN ACTIVE MEMBER OF THE BELLEVUE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH EVER SINCE. HE WAS A GRADUATE OF THE VALLEY HIGH SCHOOL AND SHORTLY AFTER GRADUATION JOINED THE UNITED STATES ARMY WHERE HE SPENT THREE YEARS ACTIVE DUTY AND THEN CONTINUED FOUR YEARS IN THE ARMY RESERVE. DON HAD BEEN EMPLOYED WITH COMICO AMERICAN, HE WORKED HIS WAY UP THROUGH THE RANKS OF THE COMPANY TO A MANAGEMENT POSITION AND ACCEPTED A POSITION AT THE RED DOG MINES IN ALASKA, AT THE TIME OF HIS ILLNESS HE WAS ONE YEAR SHORT OF RETIREMENT WHEN HE WAS CAUSED TO DISCONTINUE HIS LOVE FOR MINING. DON ENJOYED THE ACCOMPLISHMENT IN HIS LIFE ESPECIALLY HAD GREAT PRIDE IN HIS ENDEAVORS IN ASSISTING THE MINING INDUSTRY DEVELOPMENT IN ALASKA. DON LOVED THE GREAT OUTDOORS AND THE MANY GIFTS OF MOTHER NATURE AND GREATLY ENJOYED THE TIME SPENT FISHING AND HUNTING.

MARY IS SURVIVED BY HER LOVING AND DEVOTED CHILDREN, DAUGHTER, NANCY STRAMBURG AND HUSBAND EUGENE OF IMPERIAL, MISSOURI; ONE SON WALTER DON BANNING AND WIFE NORMA OF STEELVILLE, MISSOURI; ONE BROTHER, EDDIE SIMMONS AND WIFE JUANITA OF SACRAMENTO, CALIFORNIA; SIX GRANDCHILDREN, THIRTEEN GREAT GRANDCHILDREN, ELEVEN GREAT GREAT GRANDCHILDREN AND BY MANY OTHER RELATIVES AND FRIENDS. IN ADDITION TO HER PARENTS AND HUSBANDS, MARY WAS ALSO PRECEDED IN DEATH BY ONE SON ROBERT BANNING, ONE DAUGHTER MARY STRANGE, ONE GRANDDAUGHTER AND ONE GREAT GRANDDAUGHTER.
MARY ENJOYED TRAVELING AROUND AND LOOKING AND VISITING. SHE LOVED TO SPEND TIME SEWING AND ALTERING CLOTHING FOR THE MANY PEOPLE OF THE AREA. MARY ENJOYED SPENDING TIME READING THE BIBLE. SHE ALWAYS TOOK TIME TO ENJOY THE ST. LOUIS CARDINALS PLAYING BASEBALL. SHE HAD A GREAT LOVE FOR HER FAMILY AND EXTENDED FAMILY AND EACH OF THEM HELD A VERY DEAR PLACE IN HER HEART.

CHESTER HAD A LARGE HEART OF LOVE AND SHARED IT WITH HIS FAMILY AND FRIENDS. HE AND HELEN TOOK GREAT PRIDE IN THEIR FAMILY AND ALWAYS MADE TIME FOR FAMILY TRIPS TO THE BALL GAME OR SPECIAL PLACES THEY COULD ALL GO TO.
CHESTER WAS ALWAYS READY TO GO VISIT WITH HIS MANY FRIENDS, TO SHARE A STORY, LEND A HAND OR JUST BE THERE FOR THEM. A KIND AND LOVING MAN, WITH A WARM HEART AND LOVING SMILE.
