"DODIE" DEPARTED THIS LIFE AT THE WASHINGTON COUNTY MEMORIAL HOSPITAL IN POTOSI, MISSOURI ON NOVEMBER 24, 2001 HAVING REACHED THE AGE OF SIXTY-SEVEN YEARS, ELEVEN MONTHS AND SIX DAYS.
SHE WAS UNITED IN MARRIAGE TO RON RICHARDS ON AUGUST 6, 1994 IN CALEDONIA, MISSOURI.
SHE IS SURVIVED BY HER SPOUSE, RON RICHARDS OF CALEDONIA, MISSOURI, FIVE STEP DAUGHTERS, AVA JO TAYLOR AND HUSBAND PHIL OF O'CALLA, FLORIDA, BARB LUCAS AND HUSBAND JOHN OF CALEDONIA, MISSOURI, TAMMY HARTLEY AND HUSBAND BILL OF BOLIVER, MISSOURI, KIM DANE OF BONNE TERRE, MISSOURI, AND LISA BRADLEY AND HUSBAND JOHN OF FARMINGTON, MISSOURI. SHE IS ALSO SURVIVED BY NINE STEP GRANDCHILDREN AND FIVE GREAT GRANDCHILDREN. IN ADDITION TO HER PARENTS SHE WAS ALSO PRECEDED IN DEATH BY ONE STEP GRANDSON, AND HER BROTHER LARRY LEROY BRADFORD.
DODIE WAS ALWAYS KNOWN FOR HER GREAT COOKING SKILLS. SHE ALWAYS HAD SOMETHING GREAT COOKING.
DODIE ALWAYS LOVED TO VISIT AND SEE PEOPLE. SHE ALWAYS HAD A FRIENDLY DOOR OPEN FOR ANYONE.
VISITATION FOR DODIE WAS HELD MONDAY, NOVEMBER 26, 2001 FROM 5:00 P.M. TO 9:00 P.M. AND TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 27, 2001 FROM 8:30 A.M. TO 10:00 A.M. AT THE MOORE FUNERAL HOME, POTOSI, MISSOURI. FUNERAL SERVICES WERE HELD TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 27, 2001 AT 10:00 A.M. AT THE MOORE MEMORIAL CHAPEL WITH ELDER LEONARD COMPTON OFFICIATING. MUSIC WAS PROVIDED BY DONNA WARDEN. SERVING AS PALL BEARERS WERE TRACY MAXWELL, PAUL WARDEN, TONY MAXWELL, JOHN LUCAS, JOHNNY LUCAS AND BILL MAXWELL. BURIAL WAS IN THE BELLEVUE PRESBYTERIAN CEMETERY UNDER THE DIRECTION OF THE MOORE FUNERAL HOME, POTOSI, MISSOURI.

CHARLIE BECK OF IRONDALE, MISSOURI, WAS BORN OCTOBER 11, 1925, IN IRONDALE, MISSOURI, A SON OF THE LATE CHARLES H. AND LILLIAN (CHAPPELL) BECK. CHARLIE DEPARTED THIS LIFE AT WASHINGTON COUNTY MEMORIAL HOSPITAL ON MARCH 13, 1999, HAVING REACHED THE AGE OF SEVENTY-THREE YEARS, FIVE MONTHS AND TWO DAYS.
CHARLIE WAS UNITED IN MARRIAGE TO ROSALIE BLACK ON MARCH 18, 1946, IN ELVINS, MISSOURI, AND TO THIS UNION TWO CHILDREN WERE BORN.
CHARLIE IS SURVIVED BY HIS WIFE, ROSALIE BECK OF IRONDALE, ONE SON TERRY BECK AND WIFE DONNA OF IRONDALE, ONE DAUGHTER, RITA BECK OF IRONDALE, SIX GRANDCHILDREN, ELAINE PULLIAM AND HUSBAND TOM OF IRONDALE, TRACI CARLYON AND HUSBAND JIMMY OF LEADWOOD, JOHNATHAN KETCHERSIDE AND WIFE AMY OF PARK HILLS, CHARLES BECK AND WIFE CARLA OF IRONDALE, AMBER NEWBERRY AND HUSBAND CRAIG OF DESLOGE, AARON BECK OF FORT HOOD, TEXAS, TWELVE GREAT GRANDCHILDREN, FOUR SISTERS, EDNA RICE OF ST. LOUIS, VIRGINIA HATRIDGE OF IRONDALE, HELEN SPIER OF IRONDALE, BETTY JEAN DENTON OF DESLOGE, ONE BROTHER-IN-LAW, ZELLIE FERRELL OF IRONDALE AND BY MANY OTHER RELATIVES AND FRIENDS. IN ADDITION TO HIS PARENTS HE WAS ALSO PRECEDED IN DEATH BY ONE SISTER, EVELYN FERRELL.
PRIOR TO CHARLIE'S RETIREMENT HE HAD BEEN EMPLOYED FOR SEVERAL YEARS WITH MISSOURI PACIFIC RAILROAD AND RETIRED IN 1977 FROM THE ST. JOE LEADMINES. CHARLIE ENJOYED WORKING WITH THE BIG RIVER CEMETERY ASSOCIATION AND WAS VERY ACTIVE IN ITS' ACTIVITIES. CHARLIE ENJOYED ALL THE GIFTS OF MOTHER NATURE AND WAS VERY ACTIVE IN TRAPPING, HUNTING AND FISHING. AMONG HIS MANY HOBBIES HE ENJOYED COIN COLLECTING AND WAS AN AVID PICTURE HISTORIAN OF THE TOWN OF IRONDALE.
VISITATION WAS HELD MONDAY, MARCH 15, 1999, FROM 3:30 P.M. TO 9:00 P.M. AT THE GUM & SO FUNERAL HOME IN IRONDALE.
FUNERAL SERVICES WERE CONDUCTED TUESDAY, MARCH 16, 1999, AT 11:00 A.M. AT THE GUM & SON CHAPEL WITH REVEREND BRUCE TORRENCE OFFICIATING. BURIAL WAS IN BIG RIVER CEMETERY UNDER THE DIRECTION OF GUM & SON FUNERAL HOME, POTOSI.
SERVING AS PALLBEARERS WERE, JOHNATHAN KETCHERSIDE, JIM CARLYON, ANDY BECK, AARON BECK, TOM PULLIAM, CRAIG NEWBERRY, DONALD FERRELL AND JIM SPIER.

ADA HIGGINBOTHAM OF FARMINGTON, MISSOURI FORMERLY OF CALEDONIA, MISSOURI WAS BORN TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 18, 1900 IN DESOTO, MISSOURI A DAUGHTER OF THE LATE HENEIETTE (OTTOMEYER) AND JOHN W. HARNESS. ADA DEPARTED THIS LIFE IN FARMINGTON, MISSOURI ON DECEMBER 1, 2001 AT THE AGE OF ONE HUNDRED AND ONE YEARS, TWO MONTHS AND THIRTEEN DAYS.
ADA WAS UNITED IN MARRIAGE TO MELZO M. HIGGINBOTHAM ON AUGUST 13, 1920 IN HILLSBORO, MISSOURI. THEY WERE BLESSED TO HAVE ONE SON BORN TO THE UNION.
ADA WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HER HUSBAND MELZO HIGGINBOTHAM, ONE SON, LINDELL HIGGINBOTHAM, HER PARENTS, ONE SISTER, VERDIE MOODSTAW AND ONE BROTHER, ELZIE HARNESS.
ADA IS SURVIVED BY MANY NIECES, NEPHEWS, OTHER RELATIVES AND FRIENDS.
ADA AND HER HUSBAND OWNED AND OPERATED A FARM NEAR CALEDONIA FOR MANY YEARS. THEY TOOK GREAT PRIDE IN THE COMMUNITY AND THE CALEDONIA METHODIST CHURCH.
VISITATION FOR ADA WAS HELD MONDAY, DECEMBER 3, 2001 FROM 10:00 A.M. TO 2:00 P.M. AT THE MOORE FUNERAL HOME, POTOSI, MISSOURI.
FUNERAL SERVICES WERE HELD MONDAY, DECEMBER 3, 2001 AT 2:00 P.M. AT THE MOORE MEMORIAL CHAPEL WITH REV. BOB BULLOCK OFFICIATING. BURIAL WAS IN THE BLACKWELL MASONIC CEMETERY UNDER THE DIRECTION OF THE MOORE FUNERAL HOME, POTOSI, MISSOURI.

REUBEN LEE GEORGE
REUBEN LEE GEORGE OF POTOSI, MISSOURI WAS BORN AT MISSISSIPPI ON JUNE 2, 1927. HE WAS THE SON OF THE LATE CHARLIE AND LIZZIE(SANDERS) GEORGE. REUBEN DEPATED THIS LIFE AT GEORGIAN GARDENS NURSING CENTER IN POTOSI, MISSOURI ON DECEMBER 10, 2001 HAVING REACHED THE AGE OF SEVENTY-FOUR YEARS, SIX MONTHS AND EIGHT DAYS.
HE IS SURVIVED BY TWO DAUGHTERS JUANITA MEHARG OF WINFIELD, ALABAMA AND ANN BARNES OF GUIN, ALABAMA, ONE SON, DON GEORGE OF GUIN, ALABAMA, FIVE GRANDCHILDREN AND FIVE GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN AND MANY OTHER NIECES, NEPHEWS, GREAT NIECES AND GREAT NEPHEWS. IN ADDITION TO HIS PARENTS HE WAS ALSO PRECEDED IN DEATH BY ONE SON, DALE GEORGE, THREE SISTERS, CLARA SMITH, ONEASE MONK AND SYBIL CAGLE- ROSS, AND TWO BROTHERS, VESTER GEORGE AND OTHEL GEORGE.
REUBEN HAD A GREAT LOVE FOR NATURE. HE ENJOYED GOING FISHING, HUNTING AND GARDENING. HE LIKED TO RAISE AND TRAIN HIS BEAGLE HOUNDS FOR HUNTING.
REUBEN WAS A UNITED STATES ARMY VETERAN HAVING SERVED DURING WORLD WAR II.
VISITATION WAS HELD AT 10:00 AM ON WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 12, 2001 AT THE MOORE FUNERAL HOME IN POTOSI.
FUNERAL SERVICES WAS CONDUCTED AT 1:00 PM ON WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 12, 2001 AT THE MOORE MEMORIAL CHAPEL WITH REV. RICK WADE OFFICIATING. BURIAL WAS IN THE HORINE CEMETERY UNDER THE DIRECTION OF MOORE FUNERAL HOME, POTOSI.

VERNA M. POLITTE OF POTOSI, MISSOURI WAS BORN AT OLD MINES, MISSOURI ON SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 11, 1911. SHE WAS THE DAUGHTER OF THE LATE WILFORD AND FRANCES (POLITTE) BEQUETTE. VERNA DEPARTED THIS LIFE TUESDAY, DECEMBER 18, 2001 AT THE POTOSI MANOR NURSING HOME IN POTOSI, MISSOURI HAVING REACHED THE AGE OF NINETY YEARS, ONE MONTH AND FOURTEEN DAYS.
VERNA WAS UNITED IN MARRIAGE TO BERNARD JOHN POLITTE ON FEBRUARY 22, 1933, AT THE ST. JOACHIM CATHOLIC CHURCH AND TO THIS UNION SEVEN CHILDREN WERE BORN. BERNARD PRECEDED HIS WIFE IN DEATH ON JULY 10, 1997.
SHE IS SURVIVED BY FOUR DAUGHTERS; INA MAE BOYER AND HUSBAND PAUL OF OLD MINES, MISSOURI, HILDA BAYS AND HUSBAND RON OF HOUSE SPRINGS, MISSOURI, FRANCES ANN RUNDEL AND HUSBAND ROBERT OF OLD MINES, MISSOURI AND CATHERINE SCHWARTZ AND HUSBAND JAY OF LAKE OF THE OZARKS, MISSOURI. SHE IS ALSO SURVIVED BY TWO SISTERS; JOAN RUSHING OF ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI AND AURELIA BEQUETTE OF POTOSI, MISSOURI, TWENTY GRANDCHILDREN, TWENTY-EIGHT GREAT GRANDCHILDREN AND FIVE GREAT, GREAT GRANDCHILDREN. IN ADDITION TO HER PARENTS SHE WAS ALSO PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HER HUSBAND BERNARD POLITTE, TWO SONS; KENNETH BERNARD POLITTE AND WALTER THOMAS POLITTE AND DAUGHTER JUNE COURTWAY. SHE WAS ALSO PRECEDED IN DEATH BY TWO SISTERS; ALBERTA LAGER AND DOLORES SANSOUCIE, AND TWO BROTHERS; THOMAS BEQUETTE AND JAMES BEQUETTE.
VERNA ENJOYED MANY THINGS IN LIFE. SHE LOVED TO COOK AND BAKE BIG MEALS FOR HER FAMILY, PLAYING BINGO AND PINOCHLE GAMES. SHE ALSO ENJOYED QUILTING AND CROCHETING TREASURED GIFTS FOR HER FAMILY.
VISITATION WAS HELD AT 2:00 PM TO 9:00 PM ON THURSDAY, DECEMBER 20, 2001 AND FRIDAY DECEMBER 21, 2001 FROM 8:30 AM TO 9:30 AM AT THE MOORE FUNERAL HOME IN POTOSI.
A FUNERAL MASS WAS CELEBRATED AT 10:00 AM ON FRIDAY, DECEMBER 21, 2001 AT THE ST. JOACHIM CATHOLIC CHURCH WITH FATHER TED PIEPER OFFICIATING. BURIAL WAS IN THE ST. JOACHIM CEMETERY UNDER THE DIRECTION OF MOORE FUNERAL HOME, POTOSI.
SERVING AS PALLBEARERS WERE KEVIN RUNDEL, JEFF SCHWARTZ, ZACH POLITTE, RONALD COURTWAY, TIM RUNDEL AND BRIAN POLITTE.
