Theron Jewell Harris
Theron Jewell Harris, 80, of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., died June 8, 2000, at the Fort Walton Beach Medical Center. He was born Aug. 31, 1919, in Rockport, Miss. Mr. Harris resided in Fort Walton Beach for the past 30 years. He retired from the U.S. Air Force after 26 years of service. He was a veteran of WWII, the Korean Conflict and Vietnam. He was a member of Wright Baptist Church.
Mr. Harris was preceded in death by his wife, Lena Mae Harris and a sister, Hazel H. Jackson. He is survived by his daughter, Delores Taylor and her husband Jimmy of Mobile, Ala.; brother, Paul Harris; sister, Mildred Stamps, both of Miss.; two grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; and four great-great- grandchildren. He is also survived by a devoted friend, June M. B. Dennard of Shalimar, Fla.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday at Emerald Coast Funeral Home. The family will receive relatives and friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday. Interment will be held in Pine Crest West Cemetery in Mobile, Ala., at 3 p.m. Monday.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Wright Baptist Church Building Fund, 795 Beal Parkway, Fort Walton Beach, Fla., 32547.

Harrison Bayne Epperson
Harrison Bayne Epperson, 77, of Baytown, Texas, passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2000, in a local hospital.
He was born July 29, 1922, in Cedar Bayou, Texas. He moved to Dilley at a young age and the family engaged in farming. On the set of WWII, he entered into the Army Air Corps. and served in the 8th Bombardment Squadron. He was discharged in 1946. He returned home and soon afterwards he was associated with the Defense Dept. for 35 years. He served in Spain and Thailand as well as the United States. He was an avid golfer and a devoted Christian and enjoyed being a greeter and usher at Trinity Tabernacle Assembly of God where he was a member.
He was preceded in death by his parents, H.M. and Ruby Epperson; first wife, Naomi Wilkins Epperson; and brothers and sisters, John, Lila, Hop, and Meadell.
He is survived by his wife, LaVerne Pace Savell Epperson; son and daughter-in-law H.B. and Hyonsuk Epperson of Seoul, Korea; daughters and son-in-law, Linda Epperson-Wilson and Ken Wilson of Tucson, Ariz., and Bonnie Epperson-Wick of Shalimar, Fla.; brother, Joseph Epperson of Baytown; step-children, Donna Savell Eisenhour and Tom Eisenhour of Austin, Texas, Gary and Camy Savell of Baytown; grandchildren, Julia and Tyler Wilson, Buster and Hanna Epperson, step-grandchildren, Matthew Savell McCollum, Steve Eisenhour, Arron and Landon Savell and Aisley Savell.
Funeral Services were held Sunday, June 11, at Trinity Tabernacle Church in Baytown, Texas. Graveside services and burial will be at Beal Memorial Cemetery, Fort Walton Beach, at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 13 with the Rev. Rex Beiler officiating.

Molly M. Omillian
Molly M. Omillian, 90, of Niceville, Fla., died Tuesday, June 6, 2000. Mrs. Omillian was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Stanley John Omillian.
Survivors include, daughter and son-in-law, Lois and Luis Puente of Pennsauken, N.J.; son and daughter-in-law, James and Theresa Omillian of Niceville; sister, Ann Hughes of Oaklawn, Ill.; grandchildren, Michelle Sarlo of Cherry Hill, N.J., Tony Puente of Pennsauken, N.J., and Anita Smith of Phoenix, Ariz.; great-grandchildren, Anthony and Nickey Sarlo of Cherry Hill, N.J., Ashley Cook of Nellis Air Force Base, Nev., Jennifer Cook of Columbus, Ga., and Heather and Michael Smith of Phoenix, Ariz.
International Cremation Society is in charge of local arrangements. The family will be having private services.
Ed Bratton
Ed Bratton, age 77, of Crestview, Fla., passed away Tuesday afternoon, June 6, in a local hospital. Mr. Bratton was a native of Christiana, Pa., and had lived in Crestview for the past 10 years. He was an Army veteran, having served during World War II and was a member of the DAV, Chapter 57 in Crestview. Mr. Bratton was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Crestview.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Grace Bratton of Crestview; three sons, Alwin and Jean Bratton, Thomas and Elizabeth Bratton, and Paul Bratton; two daughters and their husbands, Ruth and Randy Booze and Ann and Bruce Douglass; one brother, Frank C. Bratton; seven grandchildren and one great- grandchild.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, June 12, from the Christ Chapel of the First United Methodist Church with the Revs. Wesley Spivey and Jerry May officiating. Burial will follow in the Barrancas National Cemetery.

Robert O. Bisesi
Robert O. Bisesi, age 79, of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 8, 2000.
Mr. Bisesi is survived by his wife of 56 years, Joyce Bisesi and daughters Helen Bryan (John) of Morganton, N.C., Marsha Adams (Douglas) of Elberta, Ala., and Kim Ballard (Tom) of Mary Esther, Fla.; one son, Sam Bisesi of Fort Walton Beach; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
He was a retired Okaloosa County School Board employee. Mr. Bisesi was a longtime member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. A private service was held for the family and a memorial mass will be held on Monday, June 12, at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church.
Hughes Butler Fisher
Mr. Hughes Butler Fisher, age 84, of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., passed away peacefully in his home with family members in attendance on Friday, June 9, 2000.
He is the son of the late Alber-tine Ben-jamine and Margret Eva Fisher.
Hughes was born on July 20, 1915 in Walthourville, Ga., and has been a resident of Fort Walton Beach off and on since 1953.
He was a devoted and loving husband to Tillie, his late wife of 57 years and a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
Mr. Fisher is survived by a daughter, Joy F. Richardson, and her husband, Roger, of Vienna, Va.; a son, Raymond Fisher of Smyrna, Ga.; a granddaughter, Stacy Taylor, and her husband Chandler of Las Vegas, Nev.; a grandson, Jeffrey Richardson of Aspen, Colo.; great grandchildren, Shane and Madison Taylor of Las Vagas, Nev.; and a sister-in-law, Madalie Hall of Littleton, Colo.
He had many friends in the Fort Walton Beach area having retired as a SMSGT from the U.S.A.F. after 32 years of dedicated service.
He then was a Realtor with the Bay Agency after his U.S.A.F. career. He was a Mason and a member of A.W. Windhorst Lodge 185 of Tampa, Fla. and Aloha Temple Shriners Lodge #201 of Honolulu, Hawaii. Hughes was a long time member of AA and had achieved a 17 year chip.
There will be a graveside service with the interment at 1:15 p.m. on Tuesday, June 13, 2000, at Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola, Fla.
The family will greet friends at the Emerald Coast Funeral Home from 4 to 6 p.m. on Monday, June 12, 2000.

Helen M. McDaniel
Helen M. McDaniel, 80, of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., passed away on Friday, June 9, 2000, at a local nursing home. She was born in Chipley, Fla., to the late John M. and Lonnie Godwin and had moved to the Fort Walton Beach area in 1952. She was a member of the Navarre First Assembly of God.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Aubrey McDaniel; one son, Donald Allen Carmichael; one sister, Maudess McWilliams; and two brothers, John M. Godwin Jr. and William Leo Godwin.
Mrs. McDaniel is survived by one son, Eddie Carmichael and wife Diane of Fort Walton Beach; three grandsons, Kevin of Fort Walton Beach, Darren and wife Dina of DeFuniak Springs, Fla., and Shannon and wife Lisa of Fort Walton Beach; one great-grandson, Cody; and one great-granddaughter, Jessica, both of Fort Walton Beach.
She is also survived by daughter-in-law, Cindy Carmichael of Fort Walton Beach; granddaughter, Donetta Heckaman and husband Robert of Fort Walton Beach; and one great-grandson Chazz of Fort Walton Beach. Also surviving are two brothers, Carter Godwin and wife Lorranie of Valpraiso, Fla., and Franklin Godwin and wife Sue of Oklahoma City, Okla.; and two sisters, Betty Godwin of Fort Walton Beach and Dorothy Latham of Greenville, Miss.
Family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. on Monday, June 12, 2000, at Emerald Coast Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, June 13, 2000, at 2 p.m. at Poplar Springs Baptist Church in Graceville, Fla. Burial will follow in the Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.

Louise L. Foster
Louise L. Foster, age 79, of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., passed away Saturday evening, June 10, 2000, at a local healthcare facility. Mrs. Foster was born in Junction City, Ky. and had lived in this area since 1959. She was a widowed homemaker and a longtime member of the Cinco Baptist Church. She was a very active and generous member of the church and was well loved by all who knew her. She will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Otha Foster in 1988.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Franklin Dee and Opal C. Leathers of Fort Walton Beach; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard and Betty Bodner of Villa Hills, Ky., and Dan and Judy Bodner of Atlanta, Ga.; her sister and brother-in-law, Doris and Joseph Balasa of Villa Hills; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the McLaughlin Mortuary in Fort Walton Beach on Monday, June 12, 2000, from 6 to 8 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at the McLaughlin Mortuary Chapel on Tuesday, June 13, 2000, at 10 a.m. Interment will follow services at Beal Memorial Cemetery in Fort Walton Beach.

Sandy J. Marchiando
Early on June 14, 2000, Sandy J. Marchiando, age 59, of Niceville, Fla., was called home to the Lord.
She will be always remembered by her loving husband, Peter J. Marchiando; her children, Donna L. Nieft, Diane M. Decker, Jeffery D. Marchiando and Steven J. Marchiando; her sister, Jackie Szalkowski; and her mother, Lillian Nickel. She carried an enormous love for her six grandchildren.
As you read this she wanted you to look out a window or go outside and admire the beauty of the day, and remember June 14 as "Her day of Glory," and thank Jesus for life and all the beautiful things He has brought into all of our lives.
We will celebrate her life and rejoice for the gifts she gave to all, with a memorial and healing service to be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Niceville.
