HE IS SURVIVED BY HIS WIFE LORETTA HARRINGTON OF IRONDALE, MISSOURI, FIVE DAUGHTERS, CONNIE TURNER AND HUSBAND JESSE OF BONNE TERRE, MISSOURI, NANCY PATTERSON AND HUSBAND TERRY OF DESOTO, MISSOURI, TAMMY FORTNER AND HUSBAND TERRY OF IRONDALE, MISSOURI, VALERIE ROAN AND HUSBAND DAVE OF BARNHART, MISSOURI, AND CLAUDIA VARVERA AND HUSBAND RON OF FARMINGTON, MISSOURI, FOUR SONS, TERRY HAWKINS AND WIFE CAROLYN OF IRONDALE, MISSOURI, GENE HARRINGTON AND WIFE KELLY OF FORYSTH, MONTANA, CHIRS HARRINGTON AND WIFE CAROL OF FARMINGTON, MISSOURI AND MARK HARRINGTON AND WIFE NEDRA OF FARMINGTON, MISSOURI. HE IS ALSO SURVIVED BY TWO SISTERS, DORIS URICK OF EPHRETA, WASHINGTON AND EVALOU PROPST AND HUSBAND RON OF FARMINGTON, MISSOURI, TWO BROTHERS, MAURICE HARRINGTON AND WIFE CLARANN OF FARMINGTON, MISSOURI AND LARRY HARRINGTON AND WIFE DONNA OF AKEN, SOUTH CAROLINA AND THIRTY-TWO GRANDCHILDREN AND TWENTY-NINE GREAT GRANDCHILDREN. WALTER WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY ONE DAUGHTER, SANDRA FOWLER AND TWO GRANDCHILDREN.
WALTER ENJOYED MANY THINGS IN LIFE, ESPECIALLY MOTHER NATURE. HE ENJOYED TO FISH AND FEED BIRDS. HE WAS A MEMBER OF THE VFW POST # 6947, THE IOOF OF BISMARCK AND LOVED TO HELP THE PEOPLE OF THE COMMUNITY.
VISITATION WAS HELD AT 2:00 PM TO 9:00 PM ON WEDNESDAY, APRIL 3, 2002 AND THURSDAY, APRIL 4, 2002 FROM 10:00 AM TO 2:00 PM AT THE MOORE FUNERAL HOME IN IRONDALE. A MEMORIAL SERVICE WAS HELD BY THE CLARENCE E. DOOLEY MEMORIAL VFW POST #6947, BISMARCK, MISSOOURI AT 7:00 PM ON WEDNESDAY, APRIL 3, 2002 AND A MEMORIAL SERVICE WAS HELD AT 7:30 PM WEDNESDAY, APRIL 3, 2002 BY THE BISMARCK IOOF.
FUNERAL SERVICES WERE CONDUCTED AT 2:00 PM ON THURSDAY, APRIL 4, 2002 AT THE MOORE MEMORIAL CHAPEL WITH REVEREND ELBERT MASON AND BROTHER BOB BROWN OFFICIATING. BURIAL WAS IN THE WORKMANS CEMETERY UNDER THE DIRECTION OF MOORE FUNERAL HOME, IRONDALE.
SERVING AS PALLBEARERS WERE CHAD HARRINGTON, NATHAN HAMELBACK, BUD BARTON, CHRISTOPHER HARRINGTON, GABE CRAWFORD AND CHASE SHELTON.
GLADYS MARIE BERGMANN HULL
GLADYS MARIE BERGMANN HULL OF FARMINGTON, MISSOURI WAS BORN AT IRONDALE, MISSOURI ON APRIL 8, 1917. SHE WAS THE DAUGHTER OF THE LATE AMOS AND HAZEL (SWACKER) RINGER. GLADYS DEPARTED THIS LIFE AT THE ST. FRANCOIS MANOR IN FARMINGTON, MISSOURI AND APRIL 2, 2002 HAVING REACHED THE AGE OF EIGHTY-FOUR YEARS, ELEVEN MONTHS AND TWENTY-FIVE DAYS.
GLADYS WAS UNITED IN MARRIAGE TO CHARLES HULL ON MARCH 9, 1985.
SHE IS SURVIVED BY HER HUSBAND CHARLES HULL OF BELLEVIEW, MISSOURI, ONE DAUGHTER, ETHEL MAE WHEATON OF ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI, ONE SON, JOHN H. BERGMANN, ONE SISTER, NAOMI BRINK AND HUSBAND WILLARD OF NASHVILLE, ILLINOIS, SIX GRANDCHILDREN, SEVEN STEP GRANDCHILDREN AND SEVEN GREAT GRANDCHILDREN. SHE IS ALSO SURVIVED BY DAUGHTER-IN-LAW, NANCY BERGMANN OF BISMARCK, MISSOURI, STEP SON, CHARLES HULL OF LAUREL, MONTANA AND STEP DAUGHTER, HENRIETTA KOENIG OF BISMARCK, MISSOURI AND BY MANY OTHER RELATIVES AND FRIENDS. IN ADDITION TO HER PARENTS SHE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HER EX-HUSBAND RUDOLPH BERGMANN, ONE SON, DONALD BERGMANN, ONE SISTER, NINA DIX, ONE BROTHER EDWARD RINGER AND THREE GRANDCHILDREN.
GLADYS ENJOYED MANY THINGS IN LIFE. ONE OF HER HOBBIES INCLUDED WORKING IN HER GARDEN AND THEN CANNING THE VEGETABLES. ANOTHER HOBBY WAS QUILTING AND SEWING. SHE WILL ALWAYS BE REMEMBERED BY HER WONDERFUL COOKING ESPECIALLY HER CHICKEN AND DUMPLINGS.
GLADYS WAS A MEMBER OF THE ORDER OF EASTERN STAR #166. SHE WILL BE SADLY MISSED BY FAMILY AND FRIENDS.
VISITATION WAS HELD AT 4:00 PM TO 9:00 PM ON FRIDAY, APRIL 5, 2002 AND 9:00 AM TO 10:00 AM SATURDAY, APRIL 6, 2002 AT THE MOORE FUNERAL HOME IN IRONDALE. THE IRONDALE O.E.S. #166 HELD A MEMORIAL SERVICE FRIDAY EVENING FRIDAY, APRIL 5, 2002 AT 7:00 PM IN THE MOORE MEMORIAL CHAPEL IN IRONDALE.
FUNERAL SERVICES WERE CONDUCTED AT 10:00 PM ON SATURDAY, APRIL 6, 2002 AT THE MOORE MEMORIAL CHAPEL WITH REVEREND MIKE LOCKHART OFFICIATING. MUSIC FOR THE FUNERAL SERVICE WAS PROVIDED BY DONNA WHITNEY ON PIANO PLAYING SWEET HOUR OF PRAYER AND AMAZING GRACE. SERVING AS PALLBEARERS WERE DAVE DOOLEY, CHRIS BERGMANN, CHUCK WHITE, BRAD MEERS, LARRY BARNES AND BRIEN MCCARTHY. RUTH LAVERNE WALLER OF POTOSI, MISSOURI WAS BORN SUNDAY JULY 11, 1926 IN JONESBORO, ARKANSAS. SHE WAS THE DAUGHTER OF THE LATE RUBY RUTH (ROBBINS) AND RAY D. MERCER. RUTH DEPARTED THIS LIFE ON MONDAY APRIL 8, 2002 AT THE MINERAL AREA REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER, FARMINGTON, MISSOURI, AT THE AGE OF SEVENTY-FIVE YEARS, EIGHT MONTHS AND TWENTY-EIGHT DAYS.
RUTH WAS UNITED IN MARRIAGE TO RALPH WALLER APRIL 19, 1958 IN TUNICA, MISSISSIPPI.
RUTH IS SURVIVED BY HER LOVING AND DEVOTED HUSBAND RALPH WALLER OF POTOSI, MISSOURI; TWO STEP DAUGHTERS, BEVERLY COLEMAN AND HUSBAND DENNIS OF MICHIGAN AND JANET BOYER OF POTOSI, MISSOURI; ONE SISTER, BARB CHILDERS OF IRONTON, MISSOURI; ONE BROTHER, JERRY MERCER OF CADET, MISSOURI; TWO STEP GRANDCHILDREN; FOUR STEP GREAT GRANDCHILDREN AND BY MANY OTHER RELATIVES AND FRIENDS. IN ADDITION TO HER PARENTS, RUTH WAS ALSO PRECEDED IN DEATH BY ONE BROTHER, RAY MERCER AND BY FOUR SISTERS, DOROTHY MARKLAND, MAXINE WHITED, HELEN JAYCO AND MARY SEATON.
RUTH ENJOYED CROSS STITCHING MANY ITEMS, SHE ALWAYS SHARED THEM WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS TO SHARE IN HER JOY. RUTH AND RALPH ENJOYED BOATING IN THE AREA FOR MANY YEARS.
RUTH HAD A KIND HEART AND ALWAYS HAD OPEN EARS AND ARMS FOR SOMEONE IN NEED. SHE AND RALPH HAD A BOND THAT CONTINUED TO GROW IN THEIR GOLDEN YEARS AND DREW THEM CLOSER TO EACH OTHER.
VISITATION WAS HELD WEDNESDAY, APRIL 10, 2002 FROM 5:00 P.M. TO 9:00 P.M. AND THURSDAY, APRIL 11, 2002 FROM 10:00 A.M. TO 2:00 P.M. AT THE MOORE FUNERAL HOME, POTOSI, MISSOURI.
FUNERAL SERVICES WERE CONDUCTED THURSDAY, APRIL 11, 2002 AT 2:00 P.M. AT THE MOORE MEMORIAL CHAPEL WITH THE REVEREND BOB BULLOCK OFFICIATING. MUSICAL SELECTIONS FOR THE FUNERAL WERE HOW GREAT THOU ART AND PRECIOUS MEMORIES. BURIAL WAS IN THE HOPEWELL Cemetery, HOPEWELL, MISSOURI UNDER THE DIRECTION OF THE MOORE FUNERAL HOMES, POTOSI, MISSOURI.
ALFRED STANGE
ALFRED STANGE OF FARMINGTON, MISSOURI WAS BORN AT RIVERMINES, MISSOURI ON NOVEMBER, 19, 1923. HE WAS THE SON OF THE LATE ALFRED AND LYDIA (JENNINGS) STANGE. ALFRED DEPARTED THIS LIFE AT THE BARNES JEWISH HOSPITAL IN ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI ON APRIL 12, 2002 HAVING REACHED THE AGE OF SEVENTY-EIGHT YEARS, FOUR MONTHS AND TWENTY-FOUR DAYS.
ALFRED WAS UNITED IN MARRIAGE TO HAZEL JEAN SITZES ON NOVEMBER 26, 1948 AND TO THIS UNION TWO CHILDREN WERE BORN.
HE IS SURVIVED BY HIS LOVING WIFE, HAZEL STANGE OF FARMINGTON, MISSOURI, ONE DAUGHTER, JANET SUE BURNETTE AND HUSBAND JAMES OF SUMMERVILLE, SOUTH CAROLINA, ONE SON, DAVID ERNEST STANGE OF ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI, TWO SISTERS, LUCY HARE AND HUSBAND LLOYD OF SAN ANTONIA, TEXAS AND LORRAINE GERSTENSCHLAGER OF BONNE TERRE, MISSOURI, ONE BROTHER, ROBERT STANGE OF BONNE TERRE, MISSOURI, NINE GRANDCHILDREN, THREE GREAT GRANDCHILDREN AND MANY NIECES AND NEPHEWS. IN ADDITION TO HIS PARENTS HE WAS ALSO PRECEDED IN DEATH BY ONE SISTER, MARY ELLEN MILLS, ONE BROTHER, CARL STANGE, AND ONE GREAT GRANDDAUGHTER, SAVANNAH GRACE VAN VACTOR.
ALFRED WAS A WONDERFUL MAN WHO WILL BE REMEMBERED BY ALL WHO KNEW HIM. HE WAS A MEMBER OF THE MASONIC LODGE IN POTOSI, MISSOURI. ALFRED ENJOYED ELECTRICAL WORK AND TINKERING AROUND IN HIS WORKSHOP. ALFRED LIVED IN EBO FOR THIRTY-TWO YEARS AND IN ADDITION TO RAISING CATTLE HE ALSO HAD A WONDERFUL VEGETABLE GARDEN. MOST OF WHAT HE GREW HE GAVE TO FRIENDS AND FAMILY AS HE WASN'T MUCH OF A VEGETABLE EATER HIMSELF. HE GREW HIS GARDENS JUST FOR THE ENJOYMENT AND TIME OUTDOORS. HE WAS AN ACTIVE PERSON WHO LIKED TO STAY BUSY AND WAS ALWAYS AVAILABLE TO HELP FRIENDS AND FAMILY WHEN CALLED. HE LIKED TO FISH AND TAKE THE GRAND KIDS FOR WEENIE ROASTS AND SWIMMING AT THE CREEK.

REVEREND EMMETT WHITE OF PATTERSON, MISSOURI WAS BORN AT POPLAR BLUFF, MISSOURI ON JUNE 13, 1930. HE WAS THE SON OF THE LATE JESSE AND EDITH (CANNELL) WHITE. EMMETT DEPARTED THIS LIFE AT HIS HOME IN PATTERSON, MISSOURI ON APRIL 17, 2002 HAVING REACHED THE AGE OF SEVENTY- ONE YEARS, TEN MONTHS AND FOUR DAYS.
EMMETT WAS UNITED IN MARRIAGE TO BARBARA HORTON ON FEBRUARY 8, 1952 IN IRONDALE, MISSOURI AND TO THIS UNION ELEVEN CHILDREN WERE BORN.
EMMETT SERVED HIS COUNTRY AND PROTECTED HIS FELLOW MAN IN THE UNITED STATES NAVY FROM MAY 1950 TO MARCH 1954. HE SAILED ON THE U.S.S. LEYTE AND RECEIVED THE NATIONAL DEFENSE SERVICE MEDAL AND THE NAVY OCCUPATION SERVICE MEDAL FOR EUROPEAN TOUR. HE SERVED AS A CLASS "A" HOSPITAL CORPSMAN.

EMMETT WAS A RETIRED HEAVY DUTY MECHANIC WITH DRESSER MINERALS, FORMALLY KNOWN AS RESCO MINING COMPANY AND ENJOYED HIS RETIREMENT SERVING AS MINISTER OF THE PLEASANT VALLEY UNITED BAPTIST CHURCH. DURING HIS MINISTRY SHARING THE GOOD NEWS OF THE BIBLE AND WORKING WITH YOUTH GROUPS HELPED TO FULFILL HIS COMMITMENT TO HIS LORD AND SAVIOR. THE TIME HE SPENT AT HOME WAS USUALLY COOKING FOR LARGE FAMILY GATHERINGS WHEN HE COULD ENJOY HIS ENTIRE FAMILY ESPECIALLY HIS GRANDCHILDREN. IN ADDITION TO HIS PARENTS, EMMETT WAS ALSO PRECEDED IN DEATH BY ONE SON, THOMAS WHITE, ONE SISTER, RUTH ANN WHITE AND ONE GREAT GRANDSON, ERIC WARREN.
EMMETT WILL BE LONG REMEMBERED FOR HIS VEGETABLE GARDENING SKILLS AND ENJOYING THE MANY GIFTS OF MOTHER NATURE WITH BIRD WATCHING BEING ONE OF HIS FAVORITE PAST TIMES. EMMETT ALWAYS LOOKED FORWARD TO HIS ANNUAL FISHING TRIP WITH HIS BROTHERS TO THE BERRYMAN AREA. EMMETT WILL ALWAYS BE REMEMBERED BY HIS FAMILY AND MANY FRIENDS FOR THE LOVE AND COMPASSION HE HAD FOR OTHERS AND FOR HIS DESIRE AND PASSION TO HELP MAKE THIS WORLD A BETTER PLACE FOR ALL MAN KIND.

FULL MILITARY HONORS WERE PROVIDED BY THE UNITED STATES MILITARY HONORS TEAM WITH THE UNITED STATES NAVY PRESENTING THE UNITED STATES FLAG AND A TRIBUTE.
