EDWARD DEPARTED THIS LIFE AT THE BARNES JEWISH HOSPITAL IN ST. PETERS, MISSOURI ON OCTOBER 12, 2002 HAVING REACHED THE AGE OF SIXTY TWO YEARS, FOUR MONTHS AND FIVE DAYS.
HE IS SURVIVED BY TWO SISTERS, JOYCE BAKER OF DESOTO, MISSOURI AND JANICE VASTINE OF LABADIE, MISSOURI, TWO BROTHERS, LONNIE GUION AND WIFE SARA OF ST. PETERS, MISSOURI AND RICKIE GUION AND WIFE MARY ANN OF HILLSBORO, MISSOURI. PIDGIE WAS AN UNCLE TO THIRTEEN NIECES AND NEPHEWS, HE WAS A GREAT UNCLE TO EIGHTEEN IN ALL.
"PIDGIE" AS HE WAS KNOWN BY FAMILY AND FRIENDS, ENJOYED BEING WITH HIS FAMILY ESPECIALLY DURING CHRISTMAS GATHERINGS. HE LIKED PUTTING PUZZLES TOGETHER AND LISTENING TO THE RADIO. HE LOVED WATCHING HORSE RACING AT COLLINSVILLE, CAMPING AND HAD A WONDERFUL TIME RIDING ON A PONTOON BOAT. PIDGIE ENJOYED SPENDING TIME WITH HIS DOG, MR. T. AND HIS BROTHER'S DOG, SCRUGGS. HE WILL BE SADLY MISSED BY ALL WHO WERE PRIVILEGED TO KNOW HIM.
VISITATION WAS HELD 10:30 AM TO 2:00 PM AT THE MOORE FUNERAL HOME IN POTOSI.
FUNERAL SERVICES WERE CONDUCTED AT 2:00 PM AT THE MOORE MEMORIAL CHAPEL WITH PASTOR DERRY BOWLING OFFICIATING. BURIAL WAS IN THE WRIGHT CEMETERY IN BELGRADE, MISSOURI UNDER THE DIRECTION OF MOORE FUNERAL HOME, POTOSI.

HELEN VERNIEL FITZWATER OF POTOSI, MISSOURI WAS BORN AT POTOSI MISSOURI ON JANUARY 1, 1935. SHE WAS THE DAUGHTER OF THE LATE GROVER CLEVELAND AND ALICE NANCY (TROKEY) BROWN. HELEN DEPARTED THIS LIFE AT THE ST. JOSEPH HOSPITAL IN ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI ON OCTOBER 13, 2002 HAVING REACHED THE AGE OF SIXTY SEVEN YEARS, NINE MONTHS, AND TWELVE DAYS.
SHE IS SURVIVED BY FOUR DAUGHTERS, PATRICIA ELAINE FULLER AND HUSBAND ALLEN OF MINERAL POINT, MISSOURI, ANGELA RAE FITZWATER OF DESLOGE, MISSOURI, KIMBERLY RANEE HODGES AND HUSBAND MIKE OF ST. CHARLES, MISSOURI, AND NANCY SELENA AYERS AND HUSBAND BRYON OF CHATTANOOGA, Tennessee, FIVE SONS, ERWIN "DALE" FITZWATER OF ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI, GARLAND EDWARD FITZWATER OF POTOSI, MISSOURI, PAUL DEWAYNE FITZWATER AND WIFE SANDY OF POTOSI, MISSOURI, RANDALL "JOE" FITZWATER OF POTOSI, MISSOURI, TERRY LYNN "PEE WEE" FITZWATER AND WIFE BRANDI OF POTOSI, MISSOURI, TWO STEP DAUGHTERS, RUTH PRUITT AND HUSBAND RON OF POTOSI, MISSOURI AND BRENDA HOLST OF CONROE, TEXAS, ONE STEP SON, DENNIS FITZWATER AND WIFE GAIL OF MOSCOW MILLS, MISSOURI, THIRTY TWO GRANDCHILDREN AND FOUR GREAT GRANDCHILDREN. SISTER-IN-LAW AND VERY SPECIAL FRIEND, DORIS FITZWATER OF POTOSI, MISSOURI, FRIEND, BARBARA WIDEMAN OF POTOSI, MISSOURI, FRIEND, MACKIE RULO OF POTOSI, MISSOURI, FRIEND, LAWANDA RIDDLE "SCHOOCHY" OF POTOSI, MISSOURI, FRIEND, PAT "BODIMER" PORTELL, FRIEND, PEGGY KESSELRING AND THREE SISTERS-IN-LAW, REGINA BROWN OF OLD MINES, DOROTHY PETERS OF COLUMBIA, MISSOURI AND JEWEL BROWN OF MINERAL POINT, MISSOURI. IN ADDITION TO HER PARENTS SHE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY ONE INFANT SON, THREE BROTHERS, ROBERT BROWN, CLARENCE PETERS AND ROY BROWN, ONE GRANDDAUGHTER, STEPHANIE SUE NEFF.
HELEN ENJOYED RIDING AROUND WITH FAMILY AND SPENDING TIME WITH HER GRANDCHILDREN. SHE LIKED WATCHING ST. LOUIS CARDINALS BASEBALL. SHE KNEW HER LORD AND LISTENED TO GOSPEL MUSIC. SHE WILL BE MISSED BY ALL WHO WERE PRIVILEGED TO KNOW HER.
VISITATION WAS HELD FROM 5:00 PM TO 9:00 PM ON TUESDAY, OCTOBER 15, 2002 AT THE MOORE FUNERAL HOME IN POTOSI, AND 9:30 AM TO 11:00 AM ON WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 16, 2002 AT THE POTOSI SOUTHERN BAPTIST CHURCH.
FUNERAL SERVICES WERE CONDUCTED 11:00 AM ON WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 16, 2002 AT THE POTOSI SOUTHERN BAPTIST CHURCH WITH ELDER LEONARD COMPTON AND REVEREND JOHN EDWARDS OFFICIATING. BURIAL WAS IN THE SUNSET HILL CEMETERY UNDER THE DIRECTION OF MOORE FUNERAL HOME.

JOSEPH MILTON MOSES OF STEELVILLE, MISSOURI WAS BORN AT DAVISVILLE, MISSOURI ON OCTOBER 17, 1913. HE WAS THE SON OF THE LATE WILLIAM T. "BILL" AND AMY (KNOTT) MOSES. JOSEPH DEPARTED THIS LIFE AT THE WASHINGTON COUNTY MEMORIAL HOSPITAL IN POTOSI, MISSOURI ON OCTOBER 20, 2002.
HE WAS UNITED IN MARRIAGE TO VIRGIE MARIE COFFMAN ON JANUARY 18, 1936 IN POTOSI, MISSOURI. TO THIS UNION ELEVEN CHILDREN WERE BORN.
HE IS SURVIVED BY ONE DAUGHTER, ROSELLA SMITH AND HUSBAND JERRY OF STEELVILLE, MISSOURI, SEVEN SONS, CHESTER MOSES AND SPECIAL FRIEND ZELMA, OF STEELVILLE, MISSOURI, ROLLA MOSES OF STEELVILLE, MISSOURI, JOSEPH MOSES JR. JOE ENJOYED AND APPRECIATED THE MANY GIFTS OF MOTHER NATURE. HE LOVED COON HUNTING, FISHING AND WAS WELL KNOWN FOR HIS BOUNTIFUL GARDENS. JOE WAS A FARMER, HE WORKED IN THE TIMBER INDUSTRY AND MANY PEOPLE WILL REMEMBER HIM FOR HIS TRADING SKILLS. HE COULD SPEND HOURS VISITING WITH HIS MANY FRIENDS SPINNING YARNS AND SHARING HIS WONDERFUL GIFT OF STORY TELLING. JOE HAD A SPECIAL LOVE FOR HIS LORD AND SAVIOR. HE WILL BE LOVINGLY MISSED BY HIS FAMILY AND MANY FRIENDS.

EDWIN E. COURTAWAY OF CADET, MISSOURI WAS BORN AT MINERAL POINT, MISSOURI ON JANUARY 28, 1925. HE WAS THE SON OF THE LATE ELTON AND EDITH (DAY) COURTAWAY. EDWIN DEPARTED THIS LIFE AT THE JEFFERSON MEMORIAL HOSPITAL IN FESTUS, MISSOURI ON OCTOBER 28, 2002 HAVING REACHED THE AGE OF SEVENTY SEVEN YEARS AND NINE MONTHS.
HE WAS UNITED IN MARRIAGE TO ESTHER VALLEY ON DECEMBER 18, 1946 IN WASHINGTON, D.C. AND TO THIS UNION FOUR CHILDREN WERE BORN.
HE IS SURVIVED BY HIS WIFE ESTHER COURTAWAY OF CADET, MISSOURI, TWO DAUGHTERS, HELEN LEACH AND HUSBAND GENE OF ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI AND CYNTHIA COURTAWAY OF CADET, MISSOURI, TWO SONS, KEN COURTAWAY AND WIFE GEORGIA OF CEDAR HILL, MISSOURI AND ROCKY COURTAWAY OF CADET, MISSOURI, TWO SISTERS, NORMA CREGAR AND HUSBAND HENRY OF ST. ED AS EVERYONE KNEW HIM, LOVED TO WATCH BASEBALL AND FOOTBALL ON TELEVISION. HE LIKED LISTENING TO OLD GOSPEL AND COUNTRY MUSIC AND ENJOYED READING A VARIETY OF BOOKS. HE ENJOYED FISHING AND PLAYING CARD GAMES LIKE UNO. HE WAS A MEMBER OF THE AMERICAN LEGION AND WILL BE MISSED BY FAMILY AND FRIENDS.
VISITATION WAS HELD 5:00 PM TO 9:00 PM ON WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 30, 2002 AND 9:00 AM TO 10:30 AM ON THURSDAY, OCTOBER 31, 2002 AT THE MOORE FUNERAL HOME, POTOSI.
A FUNERAL MASS WAS CELEBRATED AT 11:00 AM ON THURSDAY, OCTOBER 31, 2002 AT THE ST. JOACHIM CATHOLIC CHURCH WITH FATHER TED PIEPER OFFICIATING. BURIAL WAS IN THE JEFFERSON BARRACKS NATIONAL CEMETERY. FULL SERVICES WERE PROVIDED BY THE FUNERAL MILITARY HONORS TEAM. ALL SERVICES WERE UNDER THE DIRECTION OF MOORE FUNERAL HOME, POTOSI.

JEANETTE HULTBERG OF BONNE TERRE, MISSOURI FORMERLY OF POTOSI, MISSOURI WAS BORN AT DUPO, ILLINOIS ON JANUARY 19, 1937. SHE IS THE DAUGHTER OF JEAN JEROME AND THE LATE DANIEL JEROME. JEANETTE DEPARTED THIS LIFE AT THE GEORGIAN GARDENS NURSING HOME IN POTOSI, MISSOURI ON OCTOBER 28, 2002 HAVING REACHED THE AGE OF SIXTY-FIVE YEARS, NINE MONTHS AND NINE DAYS.
SHE IS SURVIVED BY ONE DAUGHTER, TONI JEANETTE RIGG AND HUSBAND MIKE OF WINDSOR, COLORADO, THREE SONS, KEVIN MCCOY AND WIFE BETH OF POTOSI, MISSOURI, PHILLIP L.
