SHE IS SURVIVED BY HER DAUGHTER, DOROTHY YARBROUGH AND HUSBAND ALEX OF POTOSI, MISSOURI, SONS, LOUIS DECLUE OF POTOSI, MISSOURI, PAUL DECLUE AND WIFE MARGARET OF POTOSI, MISSOURI, MICHAEL DECLUE AND WIFE ELKE OF ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI, DONALD DECLUE AND WIFE DEBBIE OF BELGRADE, MISSOURI, RONALD DECLUE AND WIFE BONNIE OF MINERAL POINT, MISSOURI AND PATRICK DECLUE AND WIFE JILL OF POTOSI, MISSOURI, SISTERS, JEAN O'CELLO OF COCOA, FLORIDA, BETTY LEFAIVRE AND HUSBAND CLINT OF Arizona AND MOLLIE WORRELL OF WASHINGTON, TWENTY GRANDCHILDREN AND TWENTY EIGHT GREAT GRANDCHILDREN AND THREE GREAT, GREAT GRANDCHILDREN, SPECIAL CAREGIVER, LINDA DECLUE OF POTOSI, MISSOURI AND THE HOME HEALTH STAFF MEMBERS. EVA ENJOYED QUILTING AND COOKING AND WAS KNOWN AS AN EXPERT SEAMSTRESS. SHE WAS A GOOD MOTHER TAKING WONDERFUL CARE OF HER CHILDREN. EVA ENJOYED CANNING AND GROWING VEGETABLES. SHE WILL BE SADLY MISSED BY FAMILY AND MANY FRIENDS.

A FUNERAL MASS WAS CELEBRATED 10:00 AM ON MONDAY, JANUARY 13, 2003 AT THE ST. JOACHIM CATHOLIC CHURCH WITH FATHER TED PIEPER OFFICIATING. BURIAL WAS IN THE ST. JOACHIM CEMETERY UNDER THE DIRECTION OF MOORE FUNERAL HOME, POTOSI.
SERVING AS PALLBEARERS WERE MARK YARBROUGH, MIKE DECLUE, PHILLIP DECLUE, DAVID DECLUE, TINA BRADLEY AND RICK DECLUE.
DOROTHY "TINKER" CREED
DOROTHY JANE CREED OF IRONDALE, MISSOURI WAS BORN AT FREDERICKTOWN, MISSOURI ON APRIL 15, 1962. SHE IS THE OF DAUGHTER EVA V. (AMES) DRUMMONDS AND THE LATE ROBERT C. CREED. DOROTHY DEPARTED THIS LIFE AT ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI ON JANUARY 10, 2003 HAVING REACHED THE AGE OF FORTY YEARS, EIGHT MONTHS AND TWENTY-FIVE DAYS.
SHE IS SURVIVED BY HER MOTHER, EVA DRUMMONDS OF IRONDALE, MISSOURI, BROTHERS, ROBERT CREED AND WIFE JUDY OF GOLDEN, COLORADO AND CARL CREED OF STONY CREEK, VIRGINIA, FIANCE' HOWARD FOX OF IRONDALE, MISSOURI AND NIECE, COLLEEN CREED OF GOLDEN, COLORADO. IN ADDITION TO HER FATHER TINKER WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HER BROTHER, FRANKLIN DARRELL CREED.
"TINKER" AS FAMILY AND FRIENDS KNEW HER, WAS A MEMBER OF THE ST. FRANCOIS COUNTY ARTS AND CRAFTS CLUB. SHE ENJOYED WATCHING T.V. ESPECIALLY CARTOONS BUT HER FAVORITE SHOWS WERE E.R. AND C.S.I. TINKER WILL BE SADLY MISSED BY FAMILY AND MANY FRIENDS.

SHIRLEY MAE SHERMAN OF ANCHORAGE, ALASKA WAS BORN ON APRIL 17, 1938 IN PALMER, MISSOURI. SHE WAS THE DAUGHTER OF THE LATE IRA HICKLE AND BERTHA (BLAIR) TURNBOUGH. SHIRLEY DEPARTED THIS LIFE DECEMBER 29, 2002 AT THE PROVIDENCE ALASKA MEDICAL CENTER.
SHIRLEY IS SURVIVED BY HUSBAND, DONALD C. SHERMAN; DAUGHTERS, CARLA SHERMAN AND LORI A. HAMANN AND HUSBAND DENNIS, SON, CHRIS SHERMAN AND WIFE PEGGY, GRANDDAUGHTERS, MICHELLE OSBURN, STEPHANIE OSBURN, WHITNEY HAMANN, JACLYNN HAMANN, DANA SHERMAN, GRANDSONS, RYAN OSBURN AND RANDAL SHERMAN, BROTHERS, LINDEL TURNBOUGH AND WIFE KATHERINE AND AVONDLE TURNBOUGH AND WIFE SHIRLEY, SISTER JUDY WEEKLEY AND HUSBAND DON. SHIRLEY WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HER PARENTS, IRA AND BERTHA TURNBOUGH.
SHIRLEY ENJOYED INTERIOR DECORATING, PAINTING AND SHOPPING. SHE WILL BE LOVINGLY MISSED BY ALL WHO WERE BLESSED TO KNOW HER.

LOUIS, MARIAN ALEXANDER OF ST. CLAIR, DON AND PATSY DELASHMIT OF BELLEVIEW, LOVELL AND RHONDA DELASHMIT OF BELGRADE, WILLIE AND LA DONNA DELASHMIT OF BELGRADE, ANN MARIE BUCKLEY OF POTOSI, FERN KRUEGER OF ST. JOE WAS A MEMBER OF THE ST. JOACHIM CATHOLIC CHURCH AND WAS DEDICATED TO ITS' TEACHINGS. PRIOR TO JOE'S RETIREMENT HE HAD BEEN EMPLOYED BY MOPAC RAILROAD. JOE HAD A GREAT LOVE FOR ANIMALS AND A SPECIAL PLACE IN HIS HEART FOR HIS MANY PETS, WHO WILL MISS HIS LOVE AND ATTENTION VERY MUCH. JOE ENJOYED SPENDING TIME HUNTING, READING BOOKS, BASEBALL, SOFTBALL AND MANAGED BALL TEAMS WHILE IN THE NAVY AND WHILE RESIDING IN DESOTO. JOE WAS VERY ACTIVE IN HIS COMMUNITY HAVING BEEN A MEMBER OF THE ST. VINCENT DE PAUL SOCIETY, THE WASHINGTON COUNTY DEMOCRAT CLUB, A LIFE MEMBER OF THE KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS, VFW AND THE AMERICAN LEGION. A LONGTIME MEMBER OF THE ST. VINCENT DEPAUL SOCIETY AND A MEMBER OF THE T.C.I.U. AFL-CIO LODGE #6078.
JOE HAD SERVED HIS COUNTRY FAITHFULLY IN THE UNITED STATES NAVY FROM 1942 TO 1945 AS A FIRST CLASS MACHINIST MATE, HE HAD SERVED IN GUADACANAL, NEW ZEALAND, EMIRAU, ADMIRABILITY ISLANDS AND THE PHILLIPINE ISLANDS.
JOE WAS A KIND PERSON WITH A SINCERE DEDICATED FAITH IN GOD AND HIS CHURCH. HE WILL BE GREATLY MISSED BY HIS FAMILY AND FRIENDS.
VISITATION WAS HELD FRIDAY, APRIL 16, 1999, FROM 3:30 P.M. TO 9:00 P.M. AT THE GUM & SON FUNERAL HOME IN POTOSI. MEMORIAL SERVICES BY THE V.F.W. AND THE KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS WERE HELD FRIDAY EVENING.
