LEROY DEPARTED THIS LIFE AT THE ST. LOUIS UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL IN ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI ON JANUARY 16, 2003 HAVING REACHED THE AGE OF FIFTY YEARS, TWO MONTHS AND NINETEEN DAYS.
HE IS SURVIVED BY HIS FIANCE', KIM MARTIN OF BONNE TERRE, MISSOURI, SONS, ERIC WEATHERWAX OF KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI AND NICHOLAS WEATHERWAX OF KENNETT, MISSOURI, SISTERS, DIANA L. GREENLEE AND HUSBAND WILLIAM OF MALDIN, MISSOURI AND TONYA MEDLEY OF FESTUS, MISSOURI. IN ADDITION TO HIS PARENTS HE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY SON, AARON WEATHERWAX AND BROTHER, WILLIAM D. MEDLEY.
LEROY ENJOYED THE MANY GIFTS OF MOTHER NATURE BY FISHING AND JUST BEING OUTDOORS. LEROY WILL BE SADLY MISSED BY FAMILY AND FRIENDS.

A FUNERAL SERVICE WAS CONDUCTED AT 10:00 AM ON TUESDAY, JANUARY 21, 2003 WITH REVEREND BEARL PETTUS OFFICIATING. BURIAL WAS IN THE SUNSET HILL CEMETERY UNDER THE DIRECTION OF MOORE FUNERAL HOME, POTOSI.
SERVING AS PALLBEARERS WERE, TERRY VOYLES, DEAN VOYLES, BOB MARTIN, EDDIE MARTIN, BUBBY MOSS AND BRAD EVANS.
RICHARD ORTEGA
JOSEPH RICHARD ORTEGA OF CADET, MISSOURI WAS BORN AT EL RIO, CALIFORNIA ON NOVEMBER 5, 1923. HE WAS THE SON OF THE LATE JOSEPH AND ADELINA (BRACAMONT) ORTEGA. RICHARD DEPARTED THIS LIFE AT HIS HOME IN CADET, MISSOURI ON JANUARY 19, 2003 HAVING REACHED THE AGE OF SEVENTY-NINE YEARS, TWO MONTHS AND FOURTEEN DAYS.
HE IS SURVIVED BY HIS WIFE, LORETTA (WARD) ORTEGA OF CADET, MISSOURI, DAUGHTERS, JACQUELINE ORTEGA- AGUIRRE AND HUSBAND MARIO OF SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA AND GERALDINE ROMO AND HUSBAND ROB OF VENTURA, CALIFORNIA, SONS, KIRK ORTEGA OF VENTURA, CALIFORNIA AND RICK ORTEGA OF VENTURA, CALIFORNIA, NINE GRANDCHILDREN, SEVEN GREAT GRANDCHILDREN, STEP- DAUGHTERS, BELINDA BEQUETTE AND HUSBAND STEVE OF CADET, MISSOURI, BARBARA DOMENICIS OF CADET, MISSOURI AND FOUR STEP-GRANDCHILDREN. IN ADDITION TO HIS PARENTS HE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY ONE GRANDDAUGHTER.
RICHARD ENJOYED FISHING AND HUNTING AND THE MANY GIFTS OF MOTHER NATURE. HE WAS AN AVID WOODWORKER AND WAS KNOWN TO MANY AS THE "JACK OF ALL TRADES". RICHARD ENJOYED OIL PAINTING AND JUST LOVED LIFE AND EVERYTHING IT HAD IN STORE FOR HIM. HE WILL BE LOVINGLY REMEMBERED BY FAMILY AND FRIENDS.

MARVIN A. HULL
MARVIN ALFRED HULL OF IRONDALE, MISSOURI WAS BORN MARCH 30, 1923 IN CALEDONIA, MISSOURI A SON OF THE LATE NELLIE ANN (MOYERS) AND LUCIAN HULL. MARVIN DIED JANUARY 24, 2003 AT THE JEFFERSON MEMORIAL HOSPITAL, FESTUS, MISSOURI AT THE AGE OF SEVENTY-NINE YEARS, NINE MONTHS AND TWENTY-FIVE DAYS.
MARVIN WAS UNITED IN MARRIAGE TO NORMA JEAN DEATHERAGE NOVEMBER 7, 1946 IN ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI. THEY WERE BLESSED TO HAVE TWO SONS BORN TO THE UNION.
MARVIN IS SURVIVED BY HIS LOVING AND DEVOTED WIFE OF FIFTY-SIX YEARS, NORMA JEAN HULL OF POTOSI, MISSOURI; TWO SONS, DENNIS HULL AND FIANCE' PATTI HURLEY OF IRONDALE, MISSOURI AND RICK HULL OF IRONDALE, MISSOURI; ONE GRANDSON, BRANDON JOSEPH HULL OF DESLOGE, MISSOURI; BROTHER-IN-LAW, RALPH RULO OF DESOTO, MISSOURI; MANY NIECES, NEPHEWS AND OTHER RELATIVES AND FRIENDS. IN ADDITION TO HIS PARENTS, MARVIN WAS ALSO PRECEDED IN DEATH BY FOUR SISTERS, OLLIE MAE RULO, LULU B. MCCLINTOCK, GRACE DICKEY AND FLORENCE BOWLING; ONE BROTHER, LEWIS HULL.
MARVIN WAS A MEMBER OF THE IRONDALE MASONIC LODGE #143 A.F. & A.M. AND THE IRONDALE ORDER OF EASTERN STAR CHAPTER #166.
MARVIN WAS A SELF EMPLOYED CRAFTSMAN BY TRADE, HE TOOK GREAT PRIDE IN HIS WORK. HE HAD THE GIVEN ABILITY TO MANUFACTURE BEAUTIFUL CUSTOM FURNITURE AND RESTORE ANTIQUE FURNITURE TO LIKE NEW CONDITION. MARVIN ENJOYED TINKERING WITH OLDER CARS, ESPECIALLY THE 1964 CHEVYS. IN HIS YOUNGER YEARS MARVIN WAS INVOLVED WITH MUSICAL GROUPS AND ENJOYED BLUE GRASS MUSIC THROUGHOUT HIS LIFE.
VISITATION WAS HELD SUNDAY, JANUARY 26, 2003 FROM 5:00 P.M. TO 9:00 P.M. AND MONDAY, JANUARY 27, 2003 FROM 10:00 A.M. TO 1:00 P.M. AT THE MOORE FUNERAL HOME, POTOSI, MISSOURI.
FUNERAL SERVICES WERE HELD MONDAY, JANUARY 27, 2003 AT 1:00 P.M. AT THE MOORE MEMORIAL CHAPEL, POTOSI, MISSOURI WITH REVEREND BRUCE TORRENCE OFFICIATING. BURIAL WAS IN THE BELLEVUE PRESBYTERIAN CEMETERY UNDER THE DIRECTION OF MOORE FUNERAL HOMES, POTOSI, MISSOURI.
SERVING AS PALLBEARERS WERE, PAT FORRESTER, WILLIAM TALIAFERRO, WALLY TALIAFERRO AND NATHAN HAMELBACK.
LEHMAN JACKSON
LEHMAN ANTHONY JACKSON OF ST. CHARLES, MISSOURI WAS BORN AT POTOSI, MISSOURI ON OCTOBER 8, 1932. HE WAS THE SON OF THE LATE DAVID DANIEL AND LONA MAE (MESEY) JACKSON. LEHMAN DEPARTED THIS LIFE ON JANUARY 24, 2003 AT THE ST. JOSEPH HEALTH CENTER IN ST. CHARLES, MISSOURI HAVING REACHED THE AGE OF SEVENTY YEARS, THREE MONTHS AND SIXTEEN DAYS.
LEHMAN WAS UNITED IN MARRIAGE TO BRENDA DIANE TURNBOUGH ON FEBRUARY 9, 1969 IN PILOT KNOB, MISSOURI AND TO THIS UNION TWO DAUGHTERS WERE BORN.
HE IS SURVIVED BY DAUGHTERS, MICHELLE DIANE JACKSON OF ST. CHARLES, MISSOURI AND MELISSA MARIE JACKSON OF ST. CHARLES, MISSOURI AND HER FIANCE', JAMES GUSTAFSON OF ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI, SISTERS, BARBARA KEEFE OF DESOTO, MISSOURI AND ESTHER HENSON AND HUSBAND LARRY OF PARK HILLS, MISSOURI, BROTHERS, MARVIN JACKSON AND WIFE EVA OF POTOSI, MISSOURI, DAVID JACKSON AND WIFE MARSHA OF DESOTO, MISSOURI AND LINDELL JACKSON AND WIFE SUE OF LEADWOOD, MISSOURI AND SEVERAL NIECES, NEPHEWS, OTHER RELATIVES AND MANY FRIENDS. IN ADDITION TO HIS PARENTS HE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY BROTHERS, INFANT ROBERT VINCENT JACKSON AND ANDREW JACKSON AND WIFE BRENDA.
LEHMAN ENJOYED COUNTRY MUSIC AND HE ALSO PLAYED IN A BAND. HE WAS A UNION MACHINIST MEMBER FOR FIFTY YEARS. LEHMAN WROTE POETRY AND SHORT STORIES AND ENJOYED READING SUSPENSE BOOKS. HE BELIEVED IN DONATING TO THE HUMANE SOCIETY AND TO THE SALVATION ARMY. LEHMAN WAS ALWAYS READY TO HELP ANYONE IN NEED AND ENJOYED SPENDING TIME WITH HIS FAMILY. HE WILL BE LOVINGLY MISSED BY FAMILY AND MANY FRIENDS.

WARD MALLOW CRUMP OF POTOSI, MISSOURI WAS BORN AT BRAZEL CREEK, MISSOURI ON JULY 12, 1907. HE WAS THE SON OF THE LATE GEORGE WASHINGTON AND ATTIE JOHNSON (MALLOW) CRUMP. WARD DEPARTED THIS LIFE AT THE WASHINGTON COUNTY MEMORIAL HOSPITAL IN POTOSI, MISSOURI ON FEBRUARY 1, 2003 HAVING REACHED THE AGE OF NINETY-FIVE YEARS, SIX MONTHS AND TWENTY DAYS.
WARD WAS UNITED IN MARRIAGE TO VASSEL DICKEY ON JULY 16, 1954 IN MISSISSIPPI. VASSEL PRECEDED HER HUSBAND IN DEATH ON JANUARY 9, 1986.
HE IS SURVIVED BY SISTER, GENEVIEVE MUELLER AND HUSBAND CLARENCE OF ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI, BOTHERS, PAUL CRUMP AND WIFE DORENE OF ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI, GLENN CRUMP AND WIFE MARIE OF FESTUS, MISSOURI, LINDELL CRUMP AND WIFE LISA OF SPRINGFIELD, MISSOURI AND MANY NIECES, NEPHEWS, OTHER RELATIVES AND MANY FRIENDS. IN ADDITION TO HIS PARENTS AND WIFE HE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY SISTERS, ZELMA BANTA AND HAZEL HARVEY, AND BROTHERS, BAILEY, RALPH AND GEORGE "DEWEY" CRUMP.
WARD ENJOYED GOING HORSEBACK RIDING, ENJOYED RAISING CATTLE AND GOING TO THE LIVESTOCK SALE. WARD ENJOYED GOING TO DEER CAMP WITH HIS FRIENDS. HE WILL BE SADLY MISSED BY FAMILY AND MANY FRIENDS.

JOSEPH EDWARD CRIPPEN OF FARMINGTON, MISSOURI WAS BORN AT MINERAL POINT, MISSOURI ON NOVEMBER 2, 1921. HE WAS THE SON OF THE LATE WILLIAM AND AGNUS CRIPPEN. JOSEPH DEPARTED THIS LIFE AT THE ST. FRANCOIS MANOR ON FEBRUARY 3, 2003 HAVING REACHED THE AGE OF EIGHTY-ONE YEARS, THREE MONTHS AND ONE DAY.
HE IS SURVIVED BY SONS, BILLY CRIPPEN, OF CADET, MISSOURI, MIKE CRIPPEN AND WIFE ROXANNE OF CADET, MISSOURI AND HOBIE CRIPPEN OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, DAUGHTERS, MARY FRANCIENE CONNER OF ARNOLD, MISSOURI AND JANICE REEVER OF MAMMOTH SPRING, ARKANSAS, ELEVEN GRANDCHILDREN AND THREE GREAT GRANDCHILDREN AND BROTHER, FRANCIS CRIPPEN OF POTOSI, MISSOURI. IN ADDITION TO HIS PARENTS HE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HIS BROTHER, GEORGE CRIPPEN.
JOSEPH SERVED OUR COUNTRY IN THE UNITED STATES ARMY DURING WORLD WAR II RECEIVING AN HONORABLE DISCHARGE. HE ENJOYED MOTHER NATURE AND HER MANY GIFTS. JOSEPH LIKED FISHING AND ALSO PLAYING THE GUITAR. HE WILL BE LOVINGLY REMEMBERED BY HIS FAMILY AND MANY FRIENDS.
