BILL WAS A LONG TIME MEMBER OF THE BELLEVUE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH WHERE HE HAS SERVED AS DEACON, ELDER, SUNDAY SCHOOL SUPERINTENDENT AND CHURCH TREASURER. HE WAS A MEMBER OF THE TYRO MASONIC LODGE #12 WHERE HE SERVED AS PAST MASTER, WITH ONE OF HIS PERSONAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS, CREATING HIS OWN MASONIC RING. BILL LOVED HIS FAMILY AND ENJOYED SHARING HIS GIFT OF MUSIC WITH THEM BY PLAYING SEVERAL INSTRUMENTS INCLUDING THE FRENCH HARP, MANDOLIN, GUITAR AND BANJO.
HE WAS EMPLOYED ON THE FAMILY FARM, AT A JOHN DEERE DEALERSHIP IN PILOT KNOB, AT GENERAL CABLE IN ST. LOUIS, SELF EMPLOYED WITH HIS OWN MACHINE SHOP, AT MILCHEM MINING COMPANY AND DRESSER MINERALS AND RETIRED AT THE AGE OF 62. HE WILL BE LOVINGLY REMEMBERED BY FAMILY AND MANY FRIENDS.

A FUNERAL SERVICE WAS CONDUCTED AT 1:30 PM ON FRIDAY, APRIL 4, 2003 AT THE BELLEVUE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH WITH REV. JOHN LANDS OFFICIATING. PRELUDE MUSIC BY BETTY MORRIS. SONGS DURING THE SERVICE WERE; AMAZING GRACE, HOW GREAT THOU ART AND I'LL FLY AWAY PERFORMED BY RHONDA AND BILL HARPOLE. BURIAL WAS IN THE BELLEVUE PRESBYTERIAN CEMETERY UNDER THE DIRECTION OF MOORE FUNERAL HOMES, POTOSI.

ROBERT RAY MOON OF BLACK, MISSOURI WAS BORN AT ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI ON JANUARY 31, 1946. HE WAS THE SON OF THE LATE FRED LOUIS AND WILLIE MARGARET (KEITH) MOON. ROBERT DEPARTED THIS LIFE AS A RESULT OF A CAR ACCIDENT ON APRIL 1, 2003 HAVING REACHED THE AGE OF FIFTY- SEVEN YEARS, TWO MONTHS AND ONE DAY.
HE IS SURVIVED BY HIS WIFE, ERNA ROSE (BIGHAM) MOON OF BLACK, MISSOURI, DAUGHTERS, MARY DEANA LONG AND HUSBAND JACK OF CARBONDALE, ILLINOIS AND MARJORIE MARGARET MOON OF CHESTER, ILLINOIS, SON, ROBERT LOUIS MOON OF BLACK, MISSOURI, STEP-SON JASON LUERS AND WIFE JODY AND STEP-DAUGHTER, GINA SIMS AND HUSBAND JOHNNIE, SISTER, BARBARA JEAN LOCKETT OF ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI, BROTHERS, RONALD MOON AND WIFE YVONNE OF JUDSONIA, ARKANSAS AND EDWARD MOON OF ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI, EIGHT GRANDCHILDREN AND SIX-STEP GRANDCHILDREN. ROBERT HAD SERVED THIS GREAT COUNTRY IN THE UNITED STATES ARMY DURING THE VIETNAM ERA. HE ENLISTED JULY 18, 1966 AT FORT LEONARD WOOD, MISSOURI AND WAS HONORABLY DISCHARGED JULY 17, 1969 AT FORT GORDON, GEORGIA. ROBERT THEN FINISHED HIS ENLISTMENT WITH THE UNITED STATES ARMY RESERVE ENDING ON JULY 11, 1972. DURING HIS TOUR OF DUTY, ROBERT RECEIVED THE NATIONAL DEFENSE SERVICE MEDAL, SHARPSHOOTER RIFLE CLASSIFICATION, VIETNAM MEDAL WITH BRONZE SERVICE STAR, VIETNAM CAMPAIGN MEDAL WITH DEVICE 1960 AND TWO OVERSEAS BARS. ROBERT CONTINUED TO SERVE HIS COUNTRY AND FELLOW MAN BY BEING VERY ACTIVE WITH THE V.F.W. AND THE VIETNAM VETERANS OF AMERICA.
ROBERT WAS IN THE WESTERN CHEROKEE NATION OF ARKANSAS AND MISSOURI. HE WAS A MEMBER OF THE VIETNAM VETERANS OF AMERICA BEVO CHAPTER 611 OF ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI WHERE HE WAS A STATE/NATIONAL DELEGATE. ROBERT WAS A MEMBER OF THE NATIONAL RIFLE ASSOCIATION OF AMERICAN AND OF THE NORTH AMERICAN HUNTING CLUB. HE IS A RETIREE OF THE AMERICAN FEDERATION OF STATE, COUNTY MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES. ROBERT WILL BE LOVINGLY REMEMBERED BY FAMILY AND MANY FRIENDS.

NANCY LEE CALLAHAN OF POTOSI, MISSOURI WAS BORN FRIDAY, MARCH 28, 1902 IN RICHWOODS, MISSOURI, A DAUGHTER OF THE LATE JOHN WILLIAM AND MARY LIZA (HICKS) TURNTINE. NANCY DIED ON SUNDAY, APRIL 18, 1999 AT THE POTOSI MANOR AT THE AGE OF NINETY-SEVEN YEARS AND TWENTY-ONE DAYS.
NANCY WAS UNITED IN MARRIAGE TO HENRY CALLAHAN MARCH 3, 1918 IN WASHINGTON COUNTY, MISSOURI, MR. CALLAHAN PRECEDED HIS WIFE IN DEATH ON SEPTEMBER 30, 1929.
NANCY IS SURVIVED BY TWO DAUGHTERS, MARY CALL AND HUSBAND BOOKER OF ST. CHARLES, MO. AND ANNA LEE EVANS AND HUSBAND ARTHUR OF HERCULANEUM, MO., SEVEN GRANDCHILDREN, NINETEEN GREAT GRANDCHILDREN, SEVEN GREAT GREAT GRANDCHILDREN AND BY MANY OTHER RELATIVES AND FRIENDS. IN ADDITION TO HER PARENTS AND HUSBAND, SHE WAS ALSO PRECEDED IN DEATH BY ONE DAUGHTER, BERTHA WALLS, TWO SONS, JOHN EDWARD AND LEONARD CARTER CALLAHAN, TWO SISTERS, LOUSIA ELIZABETH TURNTINE AND RACHEL EMMELINE TURNTINE, SEVEN BROTHERS, JAMES RICHARD TURNTINE, GEORGE ELZIE TURNTINE, SIDNEY ELVERT TURNTINE, JOSEPH LASLEY TURNTINE, DAVID LANSO TURNTINE, EARNEST TURNTINE AND JOHN LARRY TURNTINE.
NANCY WAS A KIND AND LOVING WOMAN WITH THE THOUGHTS OF OTHER PEOPLE FIRST IN HER LIFE. SHE WAS DEDICATED TO THE FAMILY FARM FOR MANY YEARS. SHE LOVED TO WORK IN HER FLOWER GARDEN.
NANCY HAD A GREAT LOVE FOR PEOPLE AND WAS ALWAYS WILLING TO CARE FOR THE SICK, BOTH FAMILY AND FRIENDS.

NELLIE DUNCAN BROKATE
NELLIE BERNICE DUNCAN BROKATE OF ENGLEWOOD, COLORADO WAS BORN AT BELGRADE, MISSOURI ON DECEMBER 15, 1912. SHE WAS THE DAUGHTER OF THE LATE HERMAN WALLENSTRUM AND LILLIE (WRIGHT) WELKER. NELLIE DEPARTED THIS LIFE AT THE LITTLETON ADVENTIST HOSPITAL IN LITTLETON, COLORADO ON APRIL 4, 2003 HAVING REACHED THE AGE OF NINETY YEARS, FOUR MONTHS AND TWENTY DAYS.
SHE IS SURVIVED BY SONS, GEORGE CARL DUNCAN AND WIFE MITSUKO OF RANCHO-MURIETA, CALIFORNIA, RICHARD PAUL DUNCAN AND WIFE SUE OF CENTENNIAL, COLORADO AND LOWELL MURPHY DUNCAN AND WIFE MICHEALE OF MONUMENT, COLORADO, GRANDCHILDREN, MICHAEL DUNCAN, CHARLES DUNCAN, BLAKE DUNCAN, LAURA INGRAHAM, LAUREN DUNCAN, ERIC STICKROD AND ANNE STICKROD AND GREAT GRANDCHILDREN, BRITTANI STICKROD AND EVAN STICKROD. IN ADDITION TO HER PARENTS SHE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HER HUSBAND, REV. CHARLES MURPHY DUNCAN, SON, DONALD EDSEL DUNCAN AND SISTERS, HESTER PARKS AND LENA WALLENSTRUM.
NELLIE WAS ACTIVE IN THE SAYERS SENIOR CENTER, THE COUNCIL OF AGING AND ON THE RESIDENT COUNCIL AT HER ASSISTED CARE CENTER IN COLORADO. SHE WAS A PAST MEMBER OF THE EASTERN STAR. DURING HER HUSBAND'S CHURCH ASSIGNMENT SHE WAS VERY ACTIVE IN ALL ASPECTS OF CHURCH ACTIVES. SHE WAS SECRETARY AND WAS A CHOIR MEMBER WITH A BEAUTIFUL VOICE. NELLIE WAS A SEAMSTRESS, MAKING ALL OF HER CLOTHING AND HER CHILDREN'S WHEN THEY WERE YOUNGER. SHE ENJOYED CROCHETING AND COLLECTING TEDDY BEARS.
NELLIE WAS A REMARKABLE PERSON, NOT ONLY FOR HER LONGEVITY, BUT FOR THE INTENSITY AND CLARITY OF FOCUS WITH WHICH SHE LIVED HER LIFE. SHE WAS ONE WHO LEFT THIS WORLD A MUCH BETTER PLACE FOR ALL MANKIND.

ANTHONY'S MEDICAL CENTER IN ST. LOUIS MISSOURI HAVING REACHED THE AGE OF EIGHTY-TWO YEARS, NINE MONTHS AND SIXTEEN DAYS.
JACK WAS UNITED IN MARRIAGE TO MARILYN ELIZABETH MOORE ON FEBRUARY 19, 1944 IN POTOSI, MISSOURI AND TO THIS UNION FOUR CHILDREN WERE BORN. MARILYN PRECEDED HER HUSBAND IN DEATH ON OCTOBER 7, 1998.
HE IS SURVIVED BY, DAUGHTER, DEBORAH BUST OF POTOSI, MISSOURI, SONS, JOHN ROBIN BUST AND WIFE LORI OF DALLAS, TEXAS, MARK WILLIAM BUST AND LYNNA BUST OF DALLAS, TEXAS AND BROCK VON BUST AND WIFE DONNA OF ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI, GRANDCHILDREN, TINA, JAIME, RYAN, STELLA, CLAIRE, PARKER AND CONNOR, DURING THE LAST FOUR YEARS JACK WAS BLESSED TO BE ABLE TO SHARE HIS LIFE WITH MARY RUTH LENNY AND HER FAMILY, HIS ADOPTED AND CHERISHED EXTENDED FAMILY INCLUDED WILMA LOOMIS AND HER FAMILY. JACK WAS ALSO SURVIVED BY MANY OTHER RELATIVES AND FRIENDS.
JACK HAD FAITHFULLY AND WILLINGLY SERVED HIS COUNTRY IN THE UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS DURING WORLD WAR II. HE ATTAINED THE RANK OF MASTER SERGEANT DURING HIS TOUR WHICH STARTED JULY 31, 1942 AND DISCHARGED AT GREAT LAKES, ILLINOIS NOVEMBER 7, 1945. DURING HIS TOUR IN THE PACIFIC HE SERVED IN THE FIRST MARINE DIVISION AND THEN SERVED AS A MAIL CLERK FOR HIS DIVISION.
JACK WAS A LONG TIME GENERAL CONTRACTOR AND LANDLORD IN THE POTOSI AREA. HE WAS A LONG TIME DEDICATED MEMBER TO THE POTOSI PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH WHERE HE HAD SERVED AS ELDER. HE WAS A MEMBER OF THE POTOSI MASONIC LODGE #131 A.F. & A.M., THE SCOTTISH RITE, THE SHRINERS AND POTOSI ELKS LODGE #2218. HE WAS A PAST MEMBER OF THE POTOSI LIONS CLUB. JACK HAD SERVED AS A CUB SCOUT MASTER FOR SEVERAL YEARS. JACK WAS A GRADUATE OF THE POTOSI SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL AND HAD ATTENDED CENTRAL METHODIST COLLEGE IN FAYETTE, MISSOURI.
