LILLIE S. POLITTE
Lillie S Politte of Cadet passed away on April 29, 2003, at the Washington County Memorial Hospital at the age of 92 years and 7 months. She was born on September 29, 1910, the daughter of the late Willie Eli Boyer and Sarah Rachel (Allie) Cain.
Lillie was united in marriage to Earl Joseph (Dago) Politte on May 21, 1936, at the St. Joachim Catholic Church in Old Mines. To this union 8 children were born.
Lillie was one of eleven (11) children. She was preceded in death by her husband Earl, five (5) sisters Pearl Boyer, Nellie Courtaway, Virgie Merseal, Louise Oshia and baby Rachel, five (5) brothers Mick, Earnest, Floyd, Roy and Francis, two (2) Grandsons Kurt and Brian Politte, one (1) Great Grandson David Michael Eckhoff.
Among those who remain to morn her passing are five (5) daughters Hazel Mrs. Harold Pinson of Cadet, Wilma Mrs. Patrick Kernan of Farmington, Jan Mrs. Harvey Gillam of Cadet, Joan Mrs. Donald Kincaid of Cadet, and Sandy Mrs. Danny Swift of Potosi, three (3) sons Robert and wife Rachel of Cadet, Ronnie and wife Mary of Cadet and Kenny of Cadet. Four (4) Sisters-in-law, Mayme Courtaway, Lena Boyer, Jean Merseal and Marie Coleman. Thirty (30) Grandchildren, Thirty-five (35) Great Grandchildren and one (1) Great Great Grandchild. Numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Lillie was a life long member of the St. Joachim Catholic Church where she was baptized as an infant.
Lillie was a loving, kind and gentle person who put everyone else first. She always made sure that everyone's needs were taken care of before she did anything for herself. Her greatest joy was having her family around her. She loved the "Lillie's Club Parties" held in her honor every month. Some of her favorite pass times were fishing and working in her garden. She loved taking rides with family and enjoying the scenery. She was a Grand Lady. Now she will be rocking with God. All will miss her.
Visitation was held 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM Wednesday, April 30, 2003 and 8:30 AM to 9:45 AM on Thursday May, 1, 2003 at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi.
Funeral Mass was celebrated on Thursday, May 1, 2003 at 10:00 AM at St. Joachim Catholic Church with Father Ted Pieper officiating; interment was in the St. Joachim Cemetery under the direction of Moore Funeral Homes, Potosi.
Serving as pallbearers were, Wesley Gillam, Patrick Kernan Jr., Tim Pinson, Bill Politte, Ken Politte and Corey Pinson.

RUTH ELLEN LOUGHARY OF IRONDALE, MISSOURI WAS BORN AT WADSWORTH, ALABAMA ON NOVEMBER 16, 1914. SHE WAS THE DAUGHTER OF THE LATE CLIFFORD AND MARY ELLEN (PARKER) KEMP. RUTH DEPARTED THIS LIFE ON APRIL 30, 2003 AT THE WASHINGTON COUNTY MEMORIAL HOSPITAL IN POTOSI, MISSOURI HAVING REACHED THE AGE OF EIGHTY-EIGHT YEARS, FIVE MONTHS AND FOURTEEN DAYS.
SHE IS SURVIVED BY DAUGHTER, JOANN GOODROW AND HUSBAND ED OF PEORIA, Arizona, STEP-SONS, HAROLD LOUGHARY AND WIFE VIVIAN OF FARMINGTON, MISSOURI AND MURRILL LOUGHARY AND WIFE ROLALIE OF CALEDONIA, MISSOURI, FOUR GRANDCHILDREN, SEVEN STEP-GRANDCHILDREN, FOURTEEN GREAT GRANDCHILDREN, SIXTEEN STEP-GREAT GRANDCHILDREN, TEN GREAT, GREAT GRANDCHILDREN AND SEVEN STEP-GREAT, GREAT GRANDCHILDREN. IN ADDITION TO HER PARENTS SHE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HUSBANDS, BEN MEYERS AND OLIVER LOUGHARY, SISTER, MABLE CONVIN AND BROTHERS, MORTON KEMP, ALBERT KEMP, JOHN KEMP AND CLAYTON KEMP.
RUTH WAS A MEMBER OF THE UNITY SOUTHERN BAPTIST CHURCH AND O.E. STAR #166, IRONDALE CHAPTER. RUTH ENJOYED CROCHETING GIFTS FOR FAMILY AND FRIENDS. SHE WILL BE LOVINGLY REMEMBERED BY FAMILY AND FRIENDS.
VISITATION WAS HELD 4:30 PM TO 9:00 PM ON THURSDAY, MAY 1, 2003 AND 9:00 AM TO 11:00 AM ON FRIDAY, MAY 2, 2003 AT THE MOORE FUNERAL HOME, POTOSI.
A FUNERAL SERVICE WAS CONDUCTED AT 11:00 AM ON FRIDAY, MAY 1, 2003 AT THE MOORE MEMORIAL CHAPEL WITH REV. GUY CONWAY OFFICIATING. BURIAL WAS IN THE BIG RIVER CEMETERY UNDER THE DIRECTION OF MOORE FUNERAL HOME, POTOSI.

FRANK GILBERT ARNOLD OF RICHWOODS, MISSOURI WAS BORN IN RICHWOODS ON MAY 15, 1934. HE WAS THE SON OF THE LATE DORSEY FLETCHER AND CLARA EDITH ARNOLD. FRANK DEPARTED THIS LIFE ON MAY 6, 2003 AT THE JOHN COCHRAN VETERAN MEDICAL CENTER IN ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI HAVING REACHED THE AGE OF SIXTY-EIGHT YEARS, ELEVEN MONTHS AND TWENTY-TWO DAYS.
FRANK WAS UNITED IN MARRIAGE TO MARY JANE PRUITT ON JANUARY 19, 1966 IN DESOTO, MISSOURI AND TO THIS UNION FIVE CHILDREN WERE BORN.
HE IS SURVIVED BY HIS LOVING AND DEVOTED WIFE, MARY JANE ARNOLD OF RICHWOODS, THREE DAUGHTERS, DEBORAH JANE HOLLINGSWORTH AND HUSBAND JOHNNY OF RICHWOODS, MARY EDITH ARNOLD OF RICHWOODS AND BECKY ARNOLD OF RICHWOODS, ONE SON, FRANKIE EUGENE ARNOLD AND WIFE CHERI LYNN OF RICHWOODS, SISTER, ANNA BELLE BROWN OF STEEVILLE, GRANDCHILDREN, JUSTIN ARNOLD OF MINERAL POINT, COURTNEY JANE MCHENRY, BROOKE DESIREE MCHENRY AND KAITY COURTWAY ALL OF RICHWOODS AND SEVERAL NIECES, NEPHEWS, OTHER RELATIVES AND MANY FRIENDS. HE TRANSFERRED TO THE UNITED STATES ARMY RESERVE AND COMPLETED HIS MILITARY OBLIGATION MARCH 5, 1963 AND RECEIVED AN HONORABLE DISCHARGE FOR HIS SERVICE TO OUR COUNTRY.

ROSS WAS AWARDED TWO BRONZE STARS, A GOOD CONDUCT MEDAL, ASIATIC PACIFIC RIBBON, FIVE OVERSEAS BARS, PHILIPPINE LIBERATION RIBBON AND THE VICTORY RIBBON, AND RECEIVED AN HONORABLE DISCHARGE FOR HIS SERVICE TO OUR COUNTRY.
ROSS LOVED WOODWORKING AND WAS A CUSTOM CARPENTER. HE WAS EMPLOYED BY BOYER LUMBER IN POTOSI FOR MANY YEARS. ROSS ENJOYED FISHING AND RELAXING ON THE SOFA WATCHING THE T.V. HE WAS A LIFETIME CHARTER MEMBER OF THE VFW POST #4212 AND WAS PAST COMMANDER. ROSS WILL BE SADLY MISSED AND LOVINGLY REMEMBERED BY FAMILY AND MANY FRIENDS.

ROBERT DEPARTED THIS LIFE ON MAY 14, 2003 AT THE PARKLAND HEALTH CENTER IN FARMINGTON, MISSOURI HAVING REACHED THE AGE OF EIGHTY-SEVEN YEARS AND FOUR MONTHS.
HE WAS UNITED IN MARRIAGE TO MABEL SUTTON ON OCTOBER 25, 1949 IN PIGOT, ARKANSAS AND TO THIS UNION FIVE CHILDREN WERE BORN.

ROBERT WAS A DISABLED AMERICAN VETERAN AND LONG TIME MEMBER OF THE FARMINGTON VFW POST #5896. HE WILL BE LOVINGLY REMEMBER BY FAMILY AND FRIENDS.

BONNIE DEPARTED THIS LIFE ON MAY 16, 2003 AT THE ST. JOE MANOR NURSING HOME IN BONNE TERRE, MISSOURI HAVING REACHED THE AGE OF SIXTY-THREE YEARS, ONE MONTH AND TWENTY-TWO DAYS.
