Catherine Virgie Jamison
Catherine Virgie Jamison of Belleview Valley, Missouri formerly of Potosi, Missouri was born Monday, September 19, 1938 in Tiff, Missouri a daughter of the late Susie (Brown) Casey and Willis Casey. Catherine departed this life Wednesday, December 3, 2003 at the Belleview Valley Nursing Home, Belleview, Missouri at the age of Sixty-Five Years, Two Months and Fourteen Days.
Catherine is survived by One Brother, Francis Brown and wife Marvel of Des Moines, Iowa; aunt Catherine Wimberly of East St. Louis, Illinois and by many other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, Catherine was also preceded in death by two sisters, Christine Casey and Ella Burgs and two brothers, Russell Casey and Melvin Casey.
Visitation was held Saturday, December 6, 2003 from 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. at the Moore Funeral Home, 105 Clark St., Potosi, Missouri.
Funeral Services were held Saturday, December 6, 2003 at 2:00 P.M. at the Moore Memorial Chapel with Rev. Don Strauser officiating.
Grave side services and Burial was in the Trinity Cemetery, Potosi, Missouri.
Services were entrusted to the care and direction of Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark St., Potosi, Missouri.
Linnea H. Lundgren
Linnea H. (Stalberg) Lundgren, of Potosi, Mo., was born May 15, 1916 in Sweden, a daughter of the late Elina (Falk) Stalberg and Johan Stalberg. Linnea died Saturday, December 6, 2003, at Georgian Gardens Nursing Homes in Potosi, Mo. At the age of Eighty-Seven Years, Six Months and Twenty-Two Days.
She is survived by her husband Kjell Lundgren of Potosi, MO.; Three Daughters,Eva Barnett of Dixon, MO., Inga-Britt Larsson of Potosi, MO., Maj-Britt Longhibler of Webster Groves, MO.; One Son, Kaj Vilen and wife Barbara of Marrero, Louisiana; Ten grandchildren, Eighteen great-grandchildren and by many other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by two brothers, Sture Stalberg and Arthur Stalberg.
Private Services were held for the Family.
Arrangements were entrusted to care and direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Mo.
Jackie Eugene Austin
Jackie "A.J." Austin of Mineral Point, Missouri, died Wednesday, December 10, 2003 at his Home in Mineral Point, Missouri. A.J. was the son of the late Clara Agnes (Missey) Allen and Jack Austin. A.J. was born Friday, September 9, 1932 in Manila, Arkansas. A.J. was Seventy-One Years, Three Months and One Day of Age at his death.
A.J. is survived by his loving and devoted wife Mary A. (Croney) Austin of Mineral Point, Missouri; Three Daughters, Vickie Jean Tiefenauer of Desloge, Missouri, Brenda Burks and husband Tom of Campbell, Missouri, Linda Adams of Mineral Point, Missouri; One Son, Edsel "Sandy" French and wife Laurie of Salem, Missouri; Twelve Grandchildren; Thirty Great Grandchildren; Three Great Great Grandchildren; A special Cousin Geneva Isom of DeSoto, Missouri and by many other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, A.J. was also preceded in death by Three Grandchildren, Leonard Burks, Robert French and Ashley Peck.
Prior to his retirement A.J. worked as a truck driver for Illinois Pacific Coast. He enjoyed working in his garden and reading western books. He was always ready to play a game of chess with anyone willing. A.J. loved to spend time with his family and friends and play poker or any other card game especially Pinocle. In his younger years he enjoyed Fishing and Hunting.
Visitation was held Thursday, December 11, 2003 from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. and Friday, December 12, 2003 from 8:30 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at the Moore Funeral Homes, Potosi, Missouri.
Funeral Services were held Friday, December 12, 2003 at 11:00 A.M. at the Moore Memorial Chapel, Potosi, Missouri with Reverend Kenneth Gamble officiating.
Grave side services and Burial was held at the Sunset Hill Cemetery, Potosi, Missouri. Serving as Pallbearers were Jack Elledge, Jack Lee Elledge, Allen Rifenburg, Michael Peck, Jody Elledge, Wesley A. Elledge, Wesley R. Elledge and Randy Elledge.
Services were entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark St., Potosi, MO 63664.
EVERETT LEROY WILLIAMS
EVERETT LEROY WILLIAMS OF POTOSI, MISSOURI, WAS BORN OCTOBER 22, 1939, IN EAST PRAIRIE, MISSOURI, A SON OF THE LATE VIRGIL AND EVA LILLIAN (PRATT) WILLIAMS. LEROY DEPARTED THIS LIFE AT PARKLAND HEALTH CENTER ON MAY 16, 1999, HAVING REACHED THE AGE OF FIFTY-NINE YEARS, SIX MONTHS AND TWENTY-FIVE DAYS.
LEROY WAS UNITED IN MARRIAGE TO NEOMA RUTH EYE ON FEBRUARY 22, 1971, IN POTOSI, MISSOURI.
LEROY IS SURVIVED BY HIS WIFE, NEOMA WILLIAMS OF POTOSI, THREE SONS, THOMAS WILLIAMS OF IOWA, RONALD MINX OF POTOSI, RICK WILLIAMS OF POTOSI, TWO DAUGHTERS, RHONDA WALKER AND HUSBAND JEFF OF CUTRON, STARLA LACHANCE AND HUSBAND EDDIE RAY OF POTOSI, SIX GRANDCHILDREN, A SPECIAL NEPHEW, ROCKY LYN CROCKER OF POTOSI, ONE BROTHER-IN-LAW, KENNETH EYE AND WIFE RUBY OF POTOSI, THREE SISTERS-IN-LAW, RUBY CROCKER AND HUSBAND PERRY OF POTOSI, KATHY PORTELL OF POTOSI, GERLINE EYE OF POTOSI AND BY MANY OTHER RELATIVES AND FRIENDS. IN ADDITION TO HIS PARENTS HE WAS ALSO PRECEDED IN DEATH BY ONE GRANDSON.
LEROY WAS AN HONORABLY DISCHARGED VETERAN OF THE UNITED STATES NAVY, HAVING SERVED FROM OCTOBER 1956 TO OCTOBER 1962, HE SERVED AS AN ELECTRICIANS MATE GENERAL.
PRIOR TO LEROY'S RETIREMENT HE WAS A LONGTIME EMPLOYEE OF CHRYSLER MOTOR COMPANY. LEROY ENJOYED SPENDING TIME IN THE OUTDOORS AND LOVED FISHING AND HUNTING. HE ENJOYED COOKING FOR HIS FAMILY AND FRIENDS THEN RELAXING SINGING A SONG OR TWO.
A KIND AND LOVING HUSBAND OF TWENTY-EIGHT YEARS, LOVING FATHER, DEAR GRANDFATHER, BROTHER, UNCLE AND SPECIAL FRIEND OF MANY. HE WILL BE SADLY MISSED AND LOVINGLY REMEMBERED BY ALL OF THOSE WHO KNEW HIM.
VISITATION WAS HELD TUESDAY, MAY 18, 1999, FROM 5:30 P.M. TO 9:00 P.M. AT THE GUM & SON FUNERAL HOME IN POTOSI.

RICHARD GALE BELFIELD OF MINERAL POINT, MISSOURI, WAS BORN MARCH 11, 1947, IN IRONDALE, MISSOURI, A SON OF RAYMOND ROY AND PANSY CAROLYN (FINLEY) BELFIELD. RICHARD DEPARTED THIS LIFE SUDDENLY ON MAY 19, 1999, HAVING REACHED THE AGE OF FIFTY-TWO YEARS, TWO MONTHS AND EIGHT DAYS.
RICHARD WAS UNITED IN MARRIAGE TO DEBBIE KATHCART ON MAY 22, 1981, IN FARMINGTON, MISSOURI.

RICHARD HAD A GREAT LOVE FOR HIS FAMILY AND FRIENDS, EACH NEW DAY WAS A START OF A NEW CHAPTER IN THE BOOK OF HIS LIFE.
RICHARD WAS A DEVOTED HUSBAND, CARING FATHER, SPECIAL GRANDFATHER, BELOVED BROTHER AND A CHERISHED FRIEND. HE WILL BE SADLY MISSED AND LOVINGLY REMEMBERED BY ALL WHOSE HEART AND LIFE HE TOUCHED.
