NELLIE WAS UNITED IN MARRIAGE TO JOHN B. COURTWAY ON MAY 15, 1923, IN OLD MINES, MISSOURI, AND TO THIS UNION NINE CHILDREN WERE BORN.
NELLIE IS SURVIVED BY ONE SON, LAWRENCE "RAT" COURTWAY AND WIFE HALLIE OF ARNOLD, FIVE DAUGHTERS, BARBARA DICKERSON AND HUSBAND LOUIS OF CADET, MARY VELMA PORTELL AND HUSBAND ROBERT OF ARNOLD, DOROTHY COLEMAN OF COLORADO SPRINGS, COLORADO, VIOLA THEBEAU AND HUSBAND RUSSELL OF CADET, CAROL OLAKER AND HUSBAND DON OF CADET, THIRTY-FIVE GRANDCHILDREN, SIXTY-TWO GREAT GRANDCHILDREN, TEN GREAT GREAT GRANDCHILDREN, ONE SISTER, LILLIE POLITTE OF CADET, ONE SISTER-IN-LAW, LENA BOYER OF CADET, AND DAUGHTERS-IN-LAW, MAYME COURTAWAY OF BLACKWELL, JUNE COURTWAY OF CADET, BEA COURTWAY OF HERCULANEUM AND BY MANY OTHER RELATIVES AND FRIENDS. IN ADDITION TO HER PARENTS AND SPOUSE SHE WAS ALSO PRECEDED IN DEATH BY THREE SONS, JOSEPH "BUCK", JAMES EDWARD AND HAROLD "TOAD" COURTWAY, FIVE BROTHERS, EARNEST, FLOYD, RAYMOND, FRANCIS AND ROY BOYER, THREE SISTERS, VIRGIE MERSEAL, PEARL BOYER AND LOUISE OSIA, AND BY ONE GRANDDAUGHTER.
NELLIE WAS A DEVOTED AND LONGTIME FAITHFUL MEMBER OF THE ST. JOACHIM CATHOLIC CHURCH. NELLIE'S LIFE OF NINETY-SEVEN YEARS TOOK HER THROUGH MANY VALLEYS AND OVER MANY MOUNTAIN TOPS IN HER DAILY TRAVEL. DURING HER TRAVELS OF LIFE SHE NEVER LOST FAITH IN THE MEANING OF LOVE AND FRIENDSHIP.
NELLIE ENJOYED QUILTING AND CROCHETING, PLAYING BINGO AND CARD GAMES WITH HER MANY FAMILY AND FRIENDS. SHE TOOK GREAT PRIDE IN HER GARDENING TALENTS AND ALWAYS ENJOYED SHARING THE GIFTS OF THAT TALENT. NELLIE HAD A GREAT LOVE FOR HER FAMILY AND FRIENDS EACH OF THEM HELD A VERY DEAR PLACE IN HER HEART.
VISITATION WAS HELD MONDAY, MAY 31, 1999 FROM 1:00 P.M. TO 9:00 P.M. AT THE GUM AND SON FUNERAL HOME, POTOSI.
A FUNERAL MASS WAS HELD TUESDAY, JUNE 1, 1999 AT 10:00 A.M. AT THE ST. JOACHIM CATHOLIC CHURCH WITH FATHER TED PIEPER OFFICIATING. BURIAL WAS IN THE ST. JOACHIM CATHOLIC CHURCH CEMETERY. JAMES DEPARTED THIS LIFE AT WASHINGTON COUNTY MEMORIAL HOSPITAL ON JUNE 1, 1999, HAVING REACHED THE AGE OF FIFTY-FOUR YEARS, TEN MONTHS AND TWENTY-FIVE DAYS.
JAMES WAS UNITED IN MARRIAGE TO MARY VOLNER ON DECEMBER 2, 1963, IN BELGRADE, MISSOURI, AND TO THIS UNION SIX CHILDREN WERE BORN.
JAMES IS SURVIVED BY HIS LOVING AND DEVOTED WIFE, MARY G. "HOO HOO" ENJOYED WORKING IN THE GARDEN, FISHING AND BOWLING. HE TOOK GREAT PRIDE IN RAISING RABBITS AND CHICKENS.
"HOO HOO" WAS A KIND AND DEVOTED HUSBAND, A LOVING FATHER AND GRANDFATHER, A SPECIAL BROTHER AND FRIEND TO MANY WHO WILL SADLY MISS HIM AND LOVINGLY REMEMBER HIM.

TAMMY DEPARTED THIS LIFE SUDDENLY AT HER RESIDENCE ON JUNE 27, 1999, HAVING REACHED THE AGE OF FORTY YEARS, ELEVEN MONTHS AND TWENTY-EIGHT DAYS.
TAMMY WAS UNITED IN MARRIAGE TO DANIEL WILLIAM BOYER ON MAY 15, 1981, IN BONNE TERRE, MISSOURI, AND TO THIS UNION ONE SON WAS BORN.
TAMMY IS SURVIVED BY HER HUSBAND, DANIEL BOYER OF POTOSI, ONE SON, ADAM JEFFERY BOYER OF POTOSI, HER MOTHER, JUANITA (HARBISON) NICHOLSON OF POTOSI, THREE SISTERS, ROBIN BOYER AND HUSBAND BILLY JOE OF POTOSI, SHERRIE CRESSWELL AND HUSBAND JIM OF POTOSI, LISA WHITE AND HUSBAND TIM OF POTOSI AND BY MANY OTHER RELATIVES AND FRIENDS. TAMMY WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HER FATHER, DALE E. NICHOLSON.
TAMMY HAD A GREAT LOVE FOR LIFE AND PEOPLE ALWAYS HAVING A SMILE ON HER FACE AND SOMETHING TO SAY. TAMMY WAS VERY ACTIVE IN THE COMMUNITY AND WITH HER FAMILY, SHE WAS A MEMBER OF THE POTOSI TROJAN BOOSTER CLUB, THE LES BELLE FEMMES, THE AMERICAN RED CROSS, VERY DEVOTED TO THE ACTIVITIES OF THE POTOSI ELKS LODGE AND THE WASHINGTON COUNTY DEMOCRAT CLUB. TAMMY WAS A 1976 GRADUATE OF THE POTOSI SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL.
TAMMY WAS A CARING AND LOVING INDIVIDUAL WHO NEVER HESITATED TO COME TO THE AID OF A FRIEND. SHE WILL LONG BE REMEMBERED FOR HER CARING HEART, KIND WORDS AND OPEN WISDOM.

LOUIS, ONE BROTHER, JAMES RAMSEY AND WIFE LORETTA OF MARYLAND HEIGHTS, TWO SISTERS, EDNA RIEHL OF NORTH KANSAS CITY, ANNA BELLE BREITENSTEIN AND HUSBAND JOHN OF ST. MERIUM ALWAYS ENJOYED THE CHANCE TO TRAVEL WHEN THE OPPORTUNITY WOULD ARISE AND FAMILY GATHERINGS WERE ALWAYS A JOY TO HER. A FAVORITE PAST TIME OF MERIUM WAS CROCHETING GIFTS FOR FAMILY AND FRIENDS. SHE WILL LONG BE REMEMBERED FOR HER CARING HEART AND KIND WORDS.

HE IS SURVIVED BY HIS MOTHER AND STEP-FATHER, MARY ANN AND RON ISERT, SR. OF POTOSI, THREE BROTHERS, BRIAN ISERT OF VALLEY SPRINGS, CALIFORNIA, RON ISERT, JR. LLOYD WAS A FREE SPIRITED INDIVIDUAL WHO HAD A GREAT LOVE FOR LIFE AND THE OUTDOORS, ENJOYING CAMPING AND BIKE RIDING. LLOYD WAS ALWAYS WILLING TO HELP OTHERS ANYTIME HE COULD. LLOYD LOOKED FORWARD TO AND ENJOYED THE TIME SPENT WITH HIS FAMILY ESPECIALLY HIS NEPHEWS AND NIECES.
LLOYD HAD THE UTMOST RESPECT FOR HIS MOTHER, ALWAYS READY TO PROTECT HER FROM ADVERSE SITUATIONS. LLOYD'S VAST MECHANICAL SKILLS WAS A GIFT THAT HE ENJOYED EVEN AS A SMALL CHILD AND WAS AN AVENUE THAT HELPED CREATE A STRONG AND LOVING BOND WITH THE MAN WHO WAS MUCH MORE THAN HIS STEP FATHER.
