GRACE IS SURVIVED BY HER LOVING HUSBAND, EUGENE CROSS OF IRONDALE, HER MOTHER, EDITH PEARL BOUSE OF CADET, THREE SONS, SKIP CROSS AND WIFE CHERYL OF LEE SUMMIT, ROGER CROSS AND WIFE DENISE OF LYNN, TIM CROSS AND WIFE DAWN OF IRONDALE, ONE DAUGHTER, TAMMY MANION AND HUSBAND DERON OF LEADWOOD, NINE GRANDCHILDREN, THREE GREAT GRANDCHILDREN, A DAUGHTER-IN-LAW, SANDY MAYFIELD OF BONNE TERRE, THREE SISTERS, BETTY HUSKY OF ST. LOUIS, CAROL WARREN OF CADET, DEBRA COLEMAN OF ST. CLAIR AND BY MANY OTHER RELATIVES AND FRIENDS. IN ADDITION TO HER FATHER SHE WAS ALSO PRECEDED IN DEATH BY ONE SON, LARRY MAYFIELD AND ONE GRANDSON, SHANE MAYFIELD.
GRACE HAD A GREAT LOVE FOR HER FAMILY AND ENJOYED EACH AND EVERY MOMENT WITH THEM. SHE ENJOYED CAMPING AND TRAVELING, ALWAYS READY TO GO IN A SECONDS NOTICE.

BERNARD COURTOIS OF POTOSI, MISSOURI WAS BORN ON SEPTEMBER 5, 1923 IN CADET, MISSOURI. A SON OF THE LATE JOSEPH AND MARY (DEAN) COURTOIS . BERNARD DEPARTED THIS LIFE ON AUGUST 17, 1999, AT PARKLAND HEALTH CENTER IN FARMINGTON, MISSOURI AT THE AGE OF 75 YEARS, 11 MONTHS AND 12 DAYS.
BERNARD WAS UNITED IN MARRIAGE TO THE LATE HELEN LEE BOYER ON SEPTEMBER 2, 1942 AT OLD MINES, MISSOURI.
BERNARD IS SURVIVED BY ONE SON RIC COURTOIS AND WIFE CAROLYN OF ST. JAMES, MISSOURI, AND TWO DAUGHTERS, BILLIE COURTOIS OF POTOSI, MISSOURI AND KATHY THOMPSON AND HUSBAND DARRELL OF POTOSI, MISSOURI. ONE BROTHER HAROLD COURTOIS AND WIFE PATSY OF MINERAL POINT, MISSOURI. FOUR SISTERS, LUCILLE EVANS OF POTOSI, MISSOURI, LOUISE BONE OF POTOSI, MISSOURI, ALBERTA MAXWELL OF POTOSI, MISSOURI AND ROBERTA COOPER AND HUSBAND NEIL OF LEADINGTON, MISSOURI, ALSO ELEVEN LOVING GRANDCHILDREN AND TWELVE GREAT GRANDCHILDREN. IN ADDITION TO HIS PARENTS AND SPOUSE HE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY TWO BROTHERS, JACK COURTOIS AND GEORGE COURTOIS AND BY ONE SISTER, STELLA BOEHM.
BERNARD WAS A VETERAN OF THE UNITED STATES ARMY, HAVING SERVED FOR SEVERAL YEARS IN THE UNITED STATES ARMY BEFORE BEING HONORABLY DISCHARGED.
HE WAS A MEMBER OF ST. JAMES CATHOLIC CHURCH. DURING BERNARD'S WORKING YEARS HE FOUND MANY JOBS TO HIS LIKING, HE WAS EMPLOYED AT THE DESOTO RAILROAD SHOPS, A MANAGER AT COURTOIS IGA FOR THIRTY YEARS AND OWNED HIS PACKAGE STORE KNOWN AS B&R PACKAGE ON THE HILL IN POTOSI FOR THE LAST THIRTY YEARS. HE WAS A MEMBER OF POTOSI ELKS LODGE 2218. WATCHING OLD WESTERN MOVIES WAS A FAVORITE PAST TIME OF HIS, HE ALSO ENJOYED PLAYING CARDS. DURING HIS YOUNGER DAYS, HE LOVED TO SPEND TIME WITH MOTHER NATURE HUNTING AND FISHING.
VISITATION WAS HELD ON WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 18, 1999, FROM 11:00 A.M. TO 9:00 P.M. AT MOORE FUNERAL HOME.
A FUNERAL MASS WAS CONDUCTED THURSDAY, AT 10:00 A.M. ON AUGUST 19, 1999 AT ST. JAMES CATHOLIC CHURCH IN POTOSI, MISSOURI, WITH FATHER GEORGE GALOVICH OFFICIATING. BURIAL WAS IN THE CALVARY CEMETERY UNDER THE DIRECTION OF MOORE FUNERAL HOME IN POTOSI.
SERVING AS PALLBEARERS WERE, JASON THOMPSON, MATT COURTOIS, MARK COURTOIS, CHRIS COURTOIS, TIM RODERIQUE, JOHN RODERIQUE AND KEVIN RODERIQUE.

WALLACE EDWARD NELSON OF POTOSI, MISSOURI WAS BORN TUESDAY, OCTOBER 17, 1922 IN RICHWOODS, MISSOURI, A SON OF THE LATE JAMES CHRISTOPHER AND ELFRIEDA MARIE (STRAUSER) NELSON. WALLACE DIED SATURDAY, AUGUST 21, 1999 AT THE WASHINGTON COUNTY HOSPITAL AT THE AGE OF SEVENTY-SIX YEARS, TEN MONTHS AND FOUR DAYS.
WALLACE WAS UNITED IN MARRIAGE TO LORETTA "TUDY" CHAMBERLAIN ON MAY 22, 1946 IN POTOSI, MISSOURI. THEY WERE BLESSED TO HAVE TWO DAUGHTERS AND TWO SONS BORN TO THE UNION. TUDY PRECEDED HER HUSBAND IN DEATH ON JANUARY 9, 1991 AT THE AGE OF SIXTY-FOUR YEARS.
WALLACE IS SURVIVED BY HIS LOVING AND DEVOTED CHILDREN, TWO DAUGHTERS, CHERIE NELSON AND FIANCE' BILL COLEMAN, PEGGY LOU ANN NELSON ALL OF POTOS, MISSOURI; TWO SONS, JERRY NELSON AND WIFE LINDA OF COLUMBIA, MISSOURI, GARY NELSON AND WIFE SHARON OF WEBSTER GROVES, MISSOURI; SIX GRANDCHILDREN, FOUR GREAT GRANDCHILDREN; ONE BROTHER, WILLIAM NELSON AND WIFE CORINE OF POTOSI, MISSOURI; ONE SISTER VELMA STROUP AND HUSBAND RANEY OF POTOSI, MISSOURI AND BY MANY OTHER RELATIVES AND FRIENDS. IN ADDITION TO HIS PARENTS AND WIFE, WALLACE WAS ALSO PRECEDED IN DEATH BY ONE BROTHER, WAYNE VERNON NELSON AND ONE SISTER RUBY YARBOURGH.
WALLACE WAS A UNITED STATES ARMY VETERAN, HAVING SERVED DURING WORLD WAR II FOR THREE YEARS. HE SERVED IN RYKUYUS, SOUTHERN PHILIPPINES AND NEW GUINEA. HE WAS AWARDED THREE BRONZE STARS FOR THE CAMPAIGNS.
PRIOR TO HIS RETIREMENT WALLACE, BETTER KNOWN AS WALLY BY HIS CO- WORKERS WAS EMPLOYED BY LACLEDE GAS COMPANY IN ST. LOUIS. WALLACE ENJOYED SPENDING TIME TALKING AND TELLING OF HIS TIME WITH THE MILITARY, HE CONTINUED TO HAVE A GREAT INTEREST IN POLITICAL AND MILITARY HISTORY, ALWAYS TAKING TIME TO READ A NEW BOOK OR STORY ABOUT THEM. HIS LEISURE TIME WAS SPENT WATCHING WILDLIFE ADVENTURES AND DOCUMENTARIES ON TELEVISION. WALLACE WAS ALWAYS FINDING SOMETHING TO TINKER WITH ON THE TRUCK, WITH HIS INQUISITIVE MIND, HE WOULD TAKE A CHALLENGE TO INVENT A NEW TOOL OR TECHNIQUE. ONCE THE TRUCK WAS FIXED HE LOVED TO JUST GO RIDING AND LOOKING AROUND THE AREA.
WALLACE WAS A KIND AND LOVING FATHER, GRANDFATHER, GREAT GRANDFATHER, BROTHER AND A CHERISHED FRIEND TO ALL WHO KNEW HIM AND WILL BE SADLY MISSED AND LOVINGLY REMEMBERED BY ALL.
VISITATION WAS HELD ON SUNDAY, AUGUST 22, 1999, FROM 2:00 TO 9:00 P.M. AT MOORE FUNERAL HOME IN POTOSI.
FUNERAL SERVICES WERE CONDUCTED MONDAY, AUGUST 23, 1999, AT 11:00 A.M. AT MOORE FUNERAL HOME WITH REVEREND DON STRAUSER OFFICIATING. BURIAL WAS IN THE SUNSET HILL CEMETERY IN POTOSI UNDER THE DIRECTION OF MOORE FUNERAL HOME, POTOSI.
SERVING AS PALLBEARERS WERE RONNIE CHAMBERLAIN, EDDIE CHAMBERLAIN, JOHN PIERCE, CODY PATRICK, ROBERT POLITTE AND BILL COLEMAN.

MAVIS CHARBONEAU
MAVIS CHARBONEAU OF POTOSI, MISSOURI, WAS BORN ON MARCH 1ST, 1919 IN CHILTON, MISSOURI. A DAUGHTER OF THE LATE ANDREW "FRANK" AND MARY (ROY) PITTMAN. MAVIS DEPARTED THIS LIFE ON AUGUST 29, 1999, AT WASHINGTON COUNTY MEMORIAL HOSPITAL IN POTOSI, AT THE AGE OF 80 YEARS, 5 MONTHS AND 28 DAYS.
MAVIS WAS UNITED IN MARRIAGE TO THE LATE STEVEN CHARBONEAU ON MAY 4TH, 1938.
MAVIS IS SURVIVED BY ONE BROTHER, DONALD PITTMAN AND WIFE IMOGENE OF POTOSI, MISSOURI. ONE SISTER, LUCILLE SANDERS OF POTOSI, MISSOURI AND MANY NIECES, NEPHEWS, AND OTHER RELATIVES AND FRIENDS. IN ADDITION TO HER PARENTS AND SPOUSE SHE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HER STEP-SON, FRANKIE CHARBONEAU AND ONE SISTER, VIOLET EVANS.
MAVIS WAS DEDICATED TO CARING FOR HER HOME AND FAMILY. SHE WAS AN AVID READER OF ALL DIFFERENT TYPES OF BOOKS. SHE ALSO ENJOYED CROCHETING AND SEWING. SHE WILL BE SADLY MISSED AND LOVINGLY REMEMBERED BY ALL WHO KNEW HER.
VISITATION WAS HELD ON MONDAY, AUGUST 30, 1999 AT 5:00 P.M. AT MOORE FUNERAL HOME IN POTOSI.

JANET MARIE ROLENS OF POTOSI, MISSOURI, WAS BORN JUNE 19, 1940, IN POTOSI, MISSOURI, A DAUGHTER OF GLADYS (PARMLEY) PRYOR AND THE LATE JAMES WISHON. JANET DEPARTED THIS LIFE IN SNELLVILLE, GEORGIA, ON SEPTEMBER 8, 1999, HAVING REACHED THE AGE OF FIFTY-NINE YEARS, TWO MONTHS AND FOURTEEN DAYS.
JANET WAS UNITED IN MARRIAGE TO FLOYD LYNN ROLENS ON NOVEMBER 17, 1962, IN POTOSI, MISSOURI.
JANET IS SURVIVED BY HER HUSBAND, FLOYD ROLENS OF POTOSI, HER MOTHER, GLADYS PRYOR OF SNELLVILLE, GEORGIA, FOUR SONS, MIKE SKELTON OF SPRINGFIELD, STEVE SKELTON AND WIFE MICHELLE OF POTOSI, DANNY ROLENS AND WIFE TINA OF CADET, CHRISTOPHER ROLENS OF POTOSI, THREE DAUGHTERS, LISA RIDDLE AND HUSBAND RANDY OF CADET, KELLY LUBICH AND HUSBAND JAKE OF POTOSI, DAWN ROLENS OF POTOSI, THIRTEEN GRANDCHILDREN, ONE SISTER, SHIRLEY HINDLE AND HUSBAND ROY OF SNELLVILLE, GEORGIA AND BY MANY OTHER RELATIVES AND FRIENDS. IN ADDITION TO HER FATHER SHE WAS ALSO PRECEDED IN DEATH BY ONE SON, BRYAN "OLIE" SKELTON AND HER STEP FATHER, CLEO PRYOR.
JANET HAD A GREAT LOVE FOR LIVING LIFE TO ITS' FULLEST, SHE ENJOYED MANY THINGS IN LIFE BUT NONE OF THEM AS MUCH AS SPENDING TIME WITH HER CHILDREN AND GRANDCHILDREN. SHE ENJOYED PLAYING POKER, BINGO AND GOING ON GAMBLING EXCURSIONS.
A KIND AND LOVING WIFE, MOTHER, DAUGHTER, AUNT AND CHERISHED FRIEND, WHO WILL BE SADLY MISSED AND LOVINGLY REMEMBERED BY ALL WHO KNEW HER.

MARJORIE DEPARTED THIS LIFE ON SEPTEMBER 12, 1999 AT MISSOURI BAPTIST HOSPITAL IN ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI AT THE AGE OF SEVENTY THREE YEARS, TEN MONTHS AND SIX DAYS.
MARJORIE WAS UNITED IN MARRIAGE TO EVEN WELLS ON JANUARY 1, 1947 IN POTOSI, MISSOURI, AND TO THIS UNION TWO CHILDREN WERE BORN.
MARJORIE IS SURVIVED BY HER LOVING AND DEVOTED HUSBAND, EVEN WELLS OF POTOSI, MISSOURI, HER SON MARSHALL WELLS, OF POTOSI, MISSOURI, HER DAUGHTER BRENDA REAMES OF FARMINGTON, MISSOURI, FOUR GRANDCHILDREN AND TWO GREAT GRANDCHILDREN. ONE BROTHER, JIM SHEPPARD AND WIFE MARCELLA OF POTOSI, MISSOURI, ONE SISTER, LORENE PANKEY OF POTOSI, MISSOURI.
MARJORIE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HER PARENTS, ONE BROTHER, EVERETT SHEPPARD AND ONE BROTHER-IN-LAW, JEWELL PANKEY.
MARJORIES PARENTS STARTED HER IN CHURCH AT A VERY EARLY AGE OF TWO WEEKS OLD. SHE LOVED HER GOD AND HER CHURCH. SHE WAS A MEMBER OF THE POTOSI FULL GOSPEL CHURCH. SHE ENJOYED SINGING GOSPEL MUSIC WITH HER DAD ON KYRO RADIO STATION AND SHE ALSO SANG AT MANY CHURCHES IN THE POTOSI AREA. MARJORIE ENTERTAINED US ALL WITH HER SHORT STORIES IN THE INDEPENDENT JOURNAL, WRITING POETRY WAS ALSO A FAVORITE PAST TIME OF HERS. SHE HAD A FURNITURE AND ANTIQUE STORE AND WAS ALSO AN AVON REPRESENTATIVE.
MARJORIE WAS KNOWN FOR HER KIND AND LOVING NATURE. A FRIEND TO ANYONE IN NEED, WHO WILL BE SADLY MISSED AND LOVINGLY REMEMBERED BY ALL WHO KNEW AND LOVED HER.
