THE COUPLE MOVED TO FLAT RIVER WHERE RONALD DID ORE TESTING FOR ST. JOE. TWO CHILDREN WERE BORN HERE, RONALD, JR. AND BEVERLY DEBORAH. BECAUSE OF THE GREAT DEPRESSION, RONALD AND REVA MOVED TO SWEETWATER, Tennessee, WHERE RONALD WORKED IN BARITE MINES FOR HIS DAD, L.A. WOOD. SUSAN JANE WAS BORN IN SWEETWATER. IN 1947 THE FAMILY MOVED TO POTOSI. REVA JUNE WAS BORN AND DIED AT THREE MONTHS. THE FAMILY MOVED TO DESOTO WHERE CHARLES LEE WAS BORN. THEY CELEBRATED 50 YEARS OF MARRIAGE IN 1979. REVA RAN THE WOOD BOARDING HOME FOR OVER 20 YEARS. AT RONALD'S DEATH IN 1984, REVA AND SUSAN MOVED TO POTOSI AT SWEETWATER VALLEY ACRES WHERE SUSAN WILL CONTINUE TO LIVE WITH HER SISTER BEVERLY.

ROSE ANN SERVED HER COUNTRY IN UNITED STATES NAVY FROM MARCH 1943 TO NOVEMBER 1946, SHE HAD RECEIVED SEVERAL RIBBONS AND THE RANK OF LIEUTENANT DURING THE TIME THAT SHE NOT ONLY SERVED HER COUNTRY BUT ALSO HAD SERVED HER FELLOW MAN. ROSE ANN WAS STATIONED AT THE US NAVAL HOSPITAL IN CALIFORNIA, PEARL HARBOR AND NORFOLK, VIRGINIA.
ROSE ANN RECEIVED HER BACHELORS OF SCIENCE DEGREE IN NURSING FROM THE ST. JOHN'S HOSPITAL IN ST. LOUIS. ROSE ANN LOVED TO TAKE TIME FROM HER SCHEDULE TO VOLUNTEER AT GEORGIAN GARDENS NURSING HOME.
ROSE ANN HAD A GREAT LOVE FOR MOTHER NATURE, ENJOYED FISHING AND FEEDING THE DUCKS WITH HER FAMILY. SHE ALSO ENJOYED CRAFTING AND WORKING WITH CERAMICS.
ROSE ANN WAS NOT ONLY A MOTHER IN THE MANY WAYS THAT SHE WAS ABLE TO GUIDE THE LIVES OF HER CHILDREN, SHE WAS ALSO A GREAT MOTHER-IN- LAW AND ALWAYS STOOD BY HER FAMILY AND THEIR DECISIONS. SHE ALWAYS PUT HER CHILDREN FIRST IN HER LIFE AND ENJOYED MAKING A LARGE PRODUCTION OF ALL THEIR BIRTHDAYS.
VISITATION WAS HELD THURSDAY, DECEMBER 30, 1999, FROM 2:00 P.M. TO 9:00 P.M. AT MOORE FUNERAL HOME IN POTOSI.
A FUNERAL MASS WAS CELEBRATED FRIDAY, DECEMBER 31, 1999, AT ST. JOACHIM CATHOLIC CHURCH WITH FATHER TED PIEPER OFFICIATING. BURIAL WAS IN ST. JOACHIM CEMETERY UNDER THE DIRECTION OF MOORE FUNERAL HOME, POTOSI.
SERVING AS PALLBEARERS WERE, HAROLD KOCH, JOE KOCH, MIKE KOCH, JOHN KOCH AND PAUL KOCH.
