away Friday, Aug. 27, 1999 in
Laredo.
A rosary was recited Sunday,
Aug. 29, 1999 at 7 p.m. in the
Hillside Funeral Home Chapel.
Visitation was from 4 to 9 p.m.
Services were held Monday,
Aug. 30, 1999 at 8:15 a.m. from
the funeral home chapel, 310
Hillside Road, to San Luis Rey
Catholic Church. Mass began at
8:30 a.m.
Interment followed in the family
plot of the Catholic Cemetery.

Michael Perez, Rolando Lopez,
Armando G. Cruz, Sergio A.
Lopez Sr. and Luis Bonnett.

Jose Villarreal
Jose Villarreal, 75, passed away
Saturday Aug. 28, 1999 in
Houston, Texas.
Mr. Villarreal served in the U.S.
Army during World War II in
Korea and later received an
Honorable discharge.
He was preceded in death by
his parents, Felix and Julia
Villarreal.
Mr. Villarreal is survived by his
wife of 55 years of marriage,
Juanita Villarreal of Laredo; his
children, Jose (Hilda) Villarreal
of Dallas, Alejandro (Rosaura)
Villarreal of Laredo, Delia
(Juan) Cruz of Laredo, Oscar
(Mary) Villarreal of Laredo, Sylvia
(Hector) Bondoc of Dallas,
Norma (Jesus) Lopez of Dallas,
Ofelia (Octavino) Ramirez of
San Antonio and Irma (Eddie)
Lopez of San Antonio; his 38
grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren;
his brother, Andres
Villarreal; his sister, Maria Olga
Elizondo; also by his nephews,
nieces and numerous friends
that will greatly miss him.
A prayer service will be held
Tuesday, Aug. 31, 1999
at 7 p.m. at Joe Jackson Heights
Funeral Chapels, 719 Loring at
Cortez. Visitation will be held
from 4 to 10 p.m.
A chapel service will be held on
Wednesday, Sept. 1,
1999 at 9 a.m. at Joe Jackson
Heights Funeral Chapels, 719
Loring at Cortez.
Interment will follow at the
family’s plot in the Calvary
Catholic Cemetery.

Marina Zamora, 65, passed
away Saturday, Aug. 28, 1999.

Lopez and Sons Southside
Chapels, Loop 20 and Zapata
Highway. Holy Mass was celebrated
at 9 a.m. at San Vicente
de Paul Catholic Church.
Committal services and interment
followed in the Calvary
Catholic Cemetery.

Mario A. Rodriguez
Mario A. Rodriguez, 52, passed
away Saturday, Aug. 28, 1999 in
at a local hospital.
Mr. Rodriguez was born in Laredo
and had lived in California
for a number of years and had
made Laredo his home for the
past nine years.
Mr. Rodriguez was employed
by Sears Department Store for
approximately 14 years, as customer
service representative.
He was preceded in death by
his parents, Miguel Rodriguez
and Julia Cantu Rodriguez.
He is survived by his wife, Esther
B. Rodriguez; sons, Mario
A. (Lisa) Rodriguez of Diamond
Bar, California, Dale (Jeannae)
Rodriguez of Southgate, California,

1999 from the Hernandez Lopez
and Sons Northside Chapels.

8:30 a.m. at San Luis Rey Catholic
Church.

with a private family service at
a later date.
