Robert W. Adams, 80, died December 9, 2001.
A native of Hall County, he was a son of the late Robert Washington and Martha Stover Adams and was preceded in death by 2 children, Teresa Davis and Clarence Casper. Mr. Adams was a retired supervisor of sanitation from the City of Athens and was of the Baptist faith.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 12, 2001 at 2:00 PM at Lord and Stephens Chapel, EAST with Revs. Buford Lockman and Curtis Greene officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Douglas Bellamy, Harvey James, Jimmy Crowe, William Merck, Jamie McDaniel and Thomas McDaniel, Jr.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Adams; 2 daughters, Shirley Merck and Denese McDaniel of Athens; 3 sons, Tim Adams and Wayne Adams of Winder and Thomas Casper of Monroe; 21 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 7:00 until 9:00 PM.
Dwight Agner
Bogart, GA
Dwight Edward Agner, 62, died August 10, 2002.
A native of Continental, OH, he was a son of the late Edward Chester and Irene Viola Taylor Agner. He was vice president of Graphic Composition, Inc., a book design, production and typesetting company. He was an award winning book designer and proprietor of Press of the Nightowl, a Georgia private press. His priority interests were books, computers and classical music. He was an usher at Hodgson Hall. Mr. Agner was one of three founding members of Amalgamated Printers Association. He was also a member of Typocrafters, Athens Fine Printing and Book Arts Group, Printing Historical Association and American Printing History Association.
Memorial services will be Wednesday, August 14, 2002 at 4:00 PM at St. Gregory The Great Episcopal Church with the Rev. Porter Taylor officiating. Interment and a reception will follow at the church.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret Agner; daughter, Suzanne Coffman of Charleston, SC; son, Eric Agner of Baltimore, MD; sister, Bonnie Peterson of Phoenix, AZ and 2 grandchildren.

Bedonnia Alexander, 58, of 88 Paul Smith Road, died October 1, 2001.
A native of Clarke County, she was a daughter of Alma Brooks Willoughby of Watkinsville and the late Herbert Willoughby.
Funeral services will be Thursday, October 4, 2001 at 11:00 AM from the graveside at Evergreen Memorial Park with Donna Arrowood officiating.
Survivors in addition to her mother include her husband, John D. Alexander; 3 daughters, Donna L. Smith of Commerce, Susan Russum of Danielsville and Shonda Hill of Carlton; 2 sons, Dale Alexander of Hull and Ronnie Alexander of Stafford, VA; 2 brothers, Herman Willoughby of Clairmont and Tony Willougby of Watkinsville; 7 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Margie L. Allen, 69, of 250 Dougherty Street, died October 6, 2001.
A native of Sarasota, FL, she was a daughter of the late Richard and Emma Johnson Treadway.
Memorial services will be Tuesday, October 9, 2001 at 2:00 PM at Lord and Stephens Chapel, EAST.
Survivors include a daughter, Deborah Ann Cadwell of Warner Robins; 2 sons, David E. Allen of Athens and Richard C. Allen of Brandon, FL; Brother, Dickey Treadway of Florida and 6 grandchildren.

Rubye Allen

Rubye Irene Allen, 101, died November 21, 2002.
A native of Godfrey, GA, she was a daughter of the late Fletcher and Susanna Mooneyham Smith and widow of George P. Allen. She was a resident of Atlanta for over 66 years and was a schoolteacher in that area. She was a member of Grace United Fellowship, Atlanta, where she taught Sunday School for many years. Mrs. Allen was the former President of the Georgia Federation of Women�s Club for a number of years.
Graveside services will be Saturday, November 23, 2002 at 11:00 AM at Greenwood Cemetery, Atlanta.
Survivors include nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

William L. Amason
1911 - 2001
William L. Amason, 90, of Magnolia Estates died Monday, April 9, 2001.
A longtime resident of Clarke County, Mr. Amason was a son of the late Grover Cleveland and Dora Wynn Lumpkin Amason and was the widower of Annie Lou Glenn Amason. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and was a member of West End Baptist Church.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Lord and Stephens Funeral Home, East, with the Revs. Larry Elliott and John Ingham officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Park.
Survivors include a sister, Nellie A. Chaddick, Athens; nieces and nephews.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Whitworth Sunday School class of West End Baptist Church and Harris Parham.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Eugene Anglin
1940 - 2002
Winterville, GA
Eugene Anglin, 61, died January 12, 2002.
A native of Newton County, he was a son of the late Clarence J. and Frances Ozella McCullers Anglin. He had made his home in Winterville since 1971, where he served as a former city councilman. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Private memorial services will be held.
Survivors include 3 children, Christine Perkins of Athens, David Anglin of Flowery Branch and Jeff Anglin of Statham; 3 sisters, Sara Carney of Hull, Jeanette White of Eastonollee and Iva Ruth Criswell of Cave Springs, GA; Brother, Bobby Anglin of Covington and 3 grandchildren, Trevor, Kelly and Kathryn Anglin.

Kelly Wood Anderson, 30, of 622 Crawford-Smithonia Road, died January 17, 2002.
A native of Clarke County, she was a daughter of Ola Wood of Watkinsville and Lawrence Wood of Watkinsville. She was a lifelong resident of this area and a member of Crawford Pentecostal Church.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 20, 2002, at 3:00 PM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens Funeral Home, EAST. Revs. Donald Wineinger and B. G. Miller will officiate. Interment will be in Crawford Cemetery.

Inez Arnold
1917 - 2002
Inez Arnold, 84, of 1127 Oconee Street, died January 21, 2002.
A native of Clarke County, she was a daughter of the late James Buford and Lelia Holcomb Dudley, and the widow of Bill Arnold. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Brandt Dudley and Buford Dudley, two sisters, Mary Mangham and Marjorie Haefke. She was a beautician for over forty years and was a member of East Athens Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 24, 2002, at 11:00 AM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens Funeral Home, EAST. Revs. David Shelley and Don Leaptrott will officiate. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park.
Survivors include two sons and daughters in law, Wayne and Patsy Arnold of Athens, James and Tina Arnold of Colbert; sister and brother in law, Bobbie and Clyde Bell of Toccoa; six grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Jack Malaier, Tracy Patrick, Barry Hardeman, Jim Stokes, Blayne Spratlin, and Michael Brooke.
