John Walters, 64, of Beaverton, died Tuesday, June 20, 2000 at MidMichigan Medical Center-Midland.

Joseph D. Babin, 69, of Rhodes, died Tuesday, June 13, 2000 at his residence following a lingering illness.
He was born in Flint, the son of the late Alcid J. and Marjorie (Goodlander) Babin. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict serving in the U.S. Navy.
He was retired as an installer from Skowron's Carpet. He was also a member of the Hale Eagles and an avid hunter and fisherman.
Surviving are his wife, Katie (Hetchler); his children, Joseph C., Michael, Patrick, Christopher, Peter, Paul, and Charla; stepchildren, Michael, Lois, Eddie, Vickie, Jeffery, Laurie, Steve, and Jamie; one sister, Christine Alvarado of Holly; and 24 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren.
Private funeral services were held at Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home in Pinconning, with cremation at Sunset Valley Crematory.
Memorials may be made to the Heartland Hospice Services.
Julia Rinnert, 95, of Beaverton, died Sunday, June 18, 2000 at Mid-Michigan Medical Center-Gladwin. God reached down and put his arm around Julia, taking her home to be with her Lord and Savior and the angels in Heaven.
Born July 22, 1904 in Pinconning, she was the daughter of Frank and Matilda Labo. She lived in Flint for many years, and worked at AC Spark Plug.
She then moved to Beaverton where she resided the rest of her life. She operated a grocery store in Albright Shores and belonged to St. Anne's parish in Edenville. She filled many lives with happiness.
Julia married Ernest Prevo in Alpena. He preceded her in death. She then married Herbert Rinnert. He also preceded her in death.
Surviving are one daughter, Helen Shustock of Burton; three sons, Lawrence and wife Patricia Prevo and Robert Prevo, all of Flint, and Richard and wife Janet Prevo of Iron River; two stepchildren, Walter and wife Elizabeth Rinnert of Florida and Arnold and wife Alva Rinnert of Flint. She loved and adored numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; and many more loving family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by two grandsons, Bruce Prevo and Joseph Shustock; her parents; and brothers and sisters.
Her spirit and her love will remain in our hearts and thoughts forever.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. today (Wednesday) at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Flint with Father Paul Schwermer officiating. A Rosary was prayed at 8 p.m. Tuesday. Visitation will be at the church from 10 a.m. today (Wednesday) until the time of the service. Burial will be at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Ruth I. (Raymond) Bradley, 78, of Gaylord and formerly of Gladwin, died Friday, June 16, 2000 at Otsego Memorial Hospital.
Born Dec. 31, 1921 in Beaverton, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Ruth (Robinette) Bardwell.
Ruth married Carl Raymond, Dec. 31, 1939. He preceded her in death in 1952. She then married Leo Bradley, Feb. 17, 1962. He preceded her in death in 1989.
She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church.
Surviving are one son, Dennis and wife Linda Raymond of Gaylord; one sister, Eva and husband George Row of Portage; three grandchildren, Brian and Patty Raymond, Bethany and Joseph Campbell, and Susan and Timothy Corbett; seven great-grandchildren; Kathleen and Erica Raymond and Jennifer, Fallon, Sean and Abigale Corbette. She was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters, Howard and Don Bardwell, Iva Fenton, Mae Fruchey, and Claudette Schatz.
Services were held Monday at St. Paul's Episcopal Church with Fr. T. Edward Bennett presiding. Burial was in Highland Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Paul's Church. Sisson Funeral Home, Inc. was in charge of the arrangements.
