Thomas Arthur Clements, 70, died Wednesday, July 18, 2001, at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville.
Services were held Saturday, July 21 at Boyd Funeral Home with Rev. Kelly LeBlanc officiating.
He is survived by sons, Danny Clements, of Ashland City, and David Clements, of Ashland City, step-son, Travis Wayne Rachal, of Pineville, La.; daughter, Cindy Odom, of Murfreesboro, Angie Gupton, of Clarksville, and Anna Maria Labespere of Pineville, La.; step-daughter, Kala Rachal, of Pineville, La.; sister, Mamie Clements of Pleasant Grove, Ala., and Minor Walker, of Pleasant Grove, Ala.

William Gupton
William Felix Gupton, 64, of Ashland City, died Monday, July 23, 2001, at his home.
Services will be held at Boyd Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 25 at 10 a.m. with Rev. Terry Exley officiating. Burial will be at the Smith-Neptune Cemetery.
Gupton was a mechanic for B.P. Oil.
Survivors include his wife, Linda, son, Michael Kevin Gupton, of Ashland City; daughter, Sherrie Regina Gupton, of Nashville; brother, Teddy Gupton, of Ashland City, and David Gupton of Mt. Juliet; sister, Mary Ann Jennett, of Ashland City; and granddaughters, Nakeea Price and Natasha Sesler.
He was preceded in death by his father, Felix Gupton, mother, Ruby Pryor Gupton, and son, Kerry Gupton.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society and Alive Hospice.

Daniel Henson
Daniel “Crash” Henson, 17, of Ashland City, died Sunday, July 22, 2001, at his home.
Services will be held Thursday, July 26 at 2 p.m. at the Cheatham County Funeral Home. Burial will be the Greenbrier Church of Christ.
Pallbearers will be members of the Two Rivers Volunteer Fire Department.
Henson was a Cheatham County Central High School student, entering his senior year. He served as a volunteer firefighter for the Two Rivers Volunteer Fire Department and was a member of the Future Farmers of America. He played in the Cheatham County Youth Basketball Association for three years and Babe Ruth baseball for a year.
Survivors include his father, Ronald Henson, mother, Darlene Henson, sister Crystal Henson, and maternal uncle, Jesse Jackson.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Marvin and Earline Jackson, and Fannie and Gordon Henson.
Cheatham County Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Don Kilgore Sr.
Don Boyd Kilgore, Sr., 56, of Pleasant View, died July 19, 2001, at his home.
Services were held Saturday, July 21 at New Hope Free Will Baptist Church with Larry Simpson and Vernon Baker officiating. Burial was in the Cheatham Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers were Kilgore’s nephews.
Born August 21, 1944 in Cheatham County, he was the son of the late William Thomas and Vennie Ann Hendrixson Kilgore. He was employed by Ferrell Gas.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra Elizabeth Ellis Kilgore, Pleasant View; daughter, Kristen Renae (Charles III) Allen; sons, Don Boyd (Angie) Kilgore Jr., and Jeffrey Scott Kilgore, of Pleasant View; grandchildren, Kolton and Gracie Kilgore and Gaige Allen; sisters, Virginia Eloise (Lloyd) Amburgey, Nashville, Myrtle Ruth (Jesse Lee) Reeder, Joelton, Patricia Diane (Don) Majors, Ashland City, Margorie GayNell (Gilford) Walker, Pleasant View, Sharon Elaine (Roby) Binkley, South Carolina; and brothers, William Jackson (Peggy) Kilgore, Joelton, Charles Franklin (Sandra) Kilgore, Sr., Joelton, Jimmy Eugene Kilgore, Nashville, Thomas Bryant (Dean) Kilgore, Ashland City, Harold George (Jacquelyne) Kilgore, Sr., Smithville, Kelly Odell (Ginny) Kilgore, Sr., Joelton, Samuel Elijah (Ruth) Kilgore, Pleasant View.

Sharryn Mattus
Sharryn Anne Mattus, 60, of Joelton, died Thursday, July 19, 2001.
Services were held Monday, July 23 at Anderson & Garrett Funeral Home in Joelton with David Krogh officiating. Burial was in the Joelton Hills Memory Gardens.
Mattus was born April 23, 1941 in Rockfork, Ill. She was the daughter of Robert Lee and Anne Christine Kordash Kootz. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Roger Mattus of Joelton; daughter, Susan Svihlik; sons, Michael Mattus and Jeffrey Mattus; sister, Judy Stotmeister; and eight grandchildren.
The Mattus family lost their home on Old Clarksville Pike to a fire on July 5.

Thomas Phillips
Thomas L. Phillips, 56, of Ashland City, died Sunday, July 22, 2001.
Services were held Tuesday, July 24 at West Harpeth Chapel with Rolland Rodriguez officiating. Burial was in Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers were Fred Phillips, John Barnes, Paul Gray, Kenneth Clinton, Steven Hanvy, Danny Stephens, Raymond Phillips and John McNeese.
Survivors include wife, Gladys Phillips, son, Raymond (Sandra) Phillips, daughter, Rhonda (John) McNeese, brother, Charles Phillips all of Ashland City; brothers, Edward Phillips of Nashville, and Lonnie Phillips of Pleasant View; sister Shirley Ragsdale of Pegram; and eight grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Thomas Phillips Jr.
