Roy Lee Davidson, 70, died Saturday, Jan. 19, 2002, at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2002 at Boyd Funeral Home with Rev. David Royalty officiating. Burial was in the State Veterans Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Mildred Davidson; sons, Sidney Davidson of Ashland City, Jere “Bo” Davidson of McComb, Miss., D.J. Davidson of Ashland City, Billy Roy Davidson of Ashland City; daughters, Teresa Henderson of Joelton, Alice Butts of Pleasant View; and sisters, Maybell Black of Dickson and Dixie Moses of Dallas, Texas.

James Leslie
James Leslie, 78, of Hastings, Minn., (formerly of Ashland City) passed away Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2002, at the Minnesota Veterans Home, Hastings, Minn.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday, Jan. 19, 2002, at Anderson & Garrett Funeral Home in Joelton with LeRoy Allen officiating. Burial was in Carney Cemetery in Ashland City.
Family and friends served as pallbearers.
He is survived by a sister, Katherine Collins of Greenbrier; and four brothers, Frank Leslie of Nashville, Jack Leslie and Howard Leslie, both of Ashland City and Walter Leslie.
He was born Oct. 23, 1923 in Davidson County, the son of the late George and Lily Brown Leslie. He was a meat cutter before retiring. He was a U.S. Marine veteran of World War II, receiving the purple heart.

Hackney Pace
George Hackney Pace, 71, died Monday, Jan. 14, 2002, at Baptist Hospital in Nashville.
Funeral services were held Thursday, Jan. 17 at Boyd Funeral Home. Rev. Charlie Carmack and Rev. Randy Corn officiated. Burial followed in the Bethlehem Cemetery in Ashland City.
Sons-in-law and grandsons served as pallbearers.
He was retired from Ford Glass Company with 32 years of service. He was a member of the Bethlehem Free Will Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, June Pace; daughters, Gloria Ford of Chapmansboro, Holly (George) Smith of Madison, Kristy (Johnny) Lovett of Chapmansboro, Kerri (Terry) Putnam of Pleasant View; four grandsons; three granddaughters; one great-granddaughter; brother, Tom Pace of Madison; sister, Elizabeth Douglas of Madison; and special cousin, Calvin Pace.

Malcolm Suell
Malcolm Wayne Suell, 70, died Thursday, Jan. 17, 2002, at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville.
Funeral services were held Sunday, Jan. 20 at Boyd Funeral Home with Bro. Terry Boyd officiating. Burial followed in the Cheatham Memorial Gardens in Pleasant View.
Friends and family served as pallbearers.
He was preceded in death by his father, Carmack Suell, brother, Larry Suell, and sisters, Ann Suell and Judith Suell.
He is survived by his mother, Mildred Balthrop Suell, brothers, Marvel Lee Suell of Cedar Hill, Ricky (Kathy) Suell of Ashland City and Sandy (Annette) Suell of Springfield.

Jimmy Williams
Jimmy Harvey Williams, 63, died Friday, Jan. 18, 2002, at Metropolitan General Hospital.
Funeral services were held Monday, Jan. 18 at Cheatham County Funeral Home with Brother Wayne Hall officiating. Burial was in Felts Cemetery in Ashland City.
Family and friends served as pallbearers.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Ruth Williams of Indiana; and sons, John (Denise) Williams and David Boyd Williams.
