Mary L. Bertram, 72, died Aug. 10, 2002.
Services were held Monday, Aug. 12, 2002, at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Interment was at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
She was preceded in death by husband, William Cecil Bertram.
Suvivors include sons, Tommy Eugene (Melissa) Cross and Gary Wayne (Ruth) Cross, daughter, Cindy Jean (Orrin) Myers, sister, Bessie O’Dell, 10 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Geraldine (Jerri) Ruth Clark, 72, died Sunday, Aug. 4, 2002.
Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2002, at 3 p.m. at Boyd Funeral Home in Ashland City, with Bro. Roy Brock officiating. Interment was in Cheatham Memorial Gardens in Pleasant View. Pallbearers were Dale Seabourn, Larry Seabourn, Bobby Seabourn, Joe Dukes, Mike Siler and Randy Clark.
She was preceded in death by daughter, Jackie Sue Ingham; son, Jeremy Clark; sister, Wilma Seahousen; brother Otis Robertson; father Jim Robertson and mother Lydia Blair Robertson.
She is survived by sons: Jerry (Claudette) Seabourn of Old Hickory, Lonnie (Betty) Seabourn of Bon Aqua; daughter, Debbie Williams of Nashville; brother, Berhl (Janette) Robertson of Lubbock, Texas; and brother-in-law, Bob Seahousen of Granite Shoals, Texas; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Allie Christine Edgin, 86, died Sunday, Aug. 11, 2002
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2002, at 2:30 p.m. from the chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Brother Hubert Raines officiating. Burial followed in the Mt. Liberty Cemetery in the Bellsburg Community with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
She is survived by her daughter, Goldie Louise Toler of Ashland City and a son, James Roger Edgin of Ashland City, five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.

Rachel Rebecca Lance, 57, Joelton, died Sunday, Aug. 11, 2002, at The Alive Hospice Inc., Nashville.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. today, Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2002, at Anderson and Garrett Funeral Home with Bro. Ronnie Webb Officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Burial will be at Battle Creek Cemetery, Springfield.
She is survived by sons, Randal Lance and Tim Lance; sisters, Rebba Lampley, Linda Adair, Betty Watts.
She was born March 5, 1945, in Williamson County, the daughter of the late Marion and Martha Rainey Capley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norris Randal Lance, June 28, 2002. She was a teacher.

Nancy Duke Murphy
Nancy Duke Murphy, 89, of Clarksville, died Saturday, Aug. 10, 2002, at Alterra Sterling House, Clarksville.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. Aug. 14 until time of service. Funeral services will be held today, Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2002, at 1 p.m. at Chapel of Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home, Clarksville, with Rev. Doug Norflett officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Robert Dee Bishop, Michael Prowell, David Dawson, Henry Bearden, Mark Vertrees, Aubrey Harvey and David McMahan. Memorials may be made to Scholarship Fund of Montgomery County Retired Teachers or Madison Street United Methodist Church UMN Scholarship Fund.
She was preceded in death by her spouse, William B. Murphy, her father, John T. Duke and her mother, Jospehine Link Duke.
She is survived by sons, William D. Murphy of Madisonville, Ky.; daughters, Judy M. Bishop, Princton, Ky., Patricia J. Murphy, Nashville; brother, Albert L. Duke of Crossville; sister, Josephine D. McMahan, Ashland City; four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
She retired after 35 years of service as Teacher-Librarian with Clarksville Montgomery County Schools. She was a member of Madison Street United Methodist Church where she was a member of United Methodist Women, and longtime Sunday school teacher, member of American Association of University of Women, and member of Montgomery county Retired Teachers Association.

Sarah Benar Rediker
Sarah Benar Rediker, 85, of Joelton, died at the home of her daughter, Dean Thaxton, Springfield, on Friday, Aug. 9, 2002.
Services were held Monday, Aug. 12, 2002, at Anderson and Garrett Funeral Home, Joelton, with Bro. Vernon Barker officiating. Family and friends served as pallbearers. Burial was at New Hope Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Andrew Rediker.
She is survived by daughters, Jewel (Harry) Berry, Nancy (Dalton) Krantz, Jean (Jack) Taylor, Dean (Richard) Thaxton, Linda Copper; sons, Jessie Rediker, Bartley (Elois) Rediker.
She was born Sept. 21, 1916, in Cheatham County, the daughter of the late Charlie and Ida Mae Barnes Leibfritz. She was a homemaker.
