Zachary Dylon Clinard, 8, passed away at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital on Saturday, Sept. 14, 2002, after a lengthy battle with leukemia.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 17, 2002, at 1 p.m. from the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Brother George Clark officiating. Burial followed in the Felts Cemetery in Ashland City. Family and friends served as pallbearers.
He was survived by his parents, Robert and Shelley Clinard of Lebanon; grandparents, Terry and Mattie Clinard of Murfreesboro, and Paul and Bernice Braddock of Mississippi.

Robert L. Hargrove
Robert Lewis Hargrove, 85, died Thursday, Sept. 12, 2002, at his home in Ashland City.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Sept. 14 at 2 p.m. at the Boyd Funeral Home Chapel. Services were conducted by Bro. Hubert Raines. Burial was in the Bearwallow Church of Christ Cemetery. Active pallbearers were Jimmy Boyd, Douglas Boyd, Richard Hargrove, James Heggie, John Millican and Ralph Millican.
He is survived by his wife, Edith Hargrove of Ashland City; son, Richard Hargrove of Hendersonville; sisters Louise Hargrove of Smithville and Addie Millican of Pulaski.

Ernest Jannette, 92, Springfield, died Sunday, Sept. 15, 2002, at his home.
Remains are at Anderson and Garrett Funeral Home, Joelton, where the service will be conducted at 3 p.m, today, Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2002, with Bro. Cecil Boswell and Bro. Roy Duckett officiating. Honorary pallbearers: Todd Carney, Curtis Carney, Curtis Carney II, Brandon Felts, Dr. Hyatt Sutton, Dr. Stasko, Dr. Pearce, Jim Hughes; active pallbearers: Darrell Thompson, Ken Bruce, David Morris, Tommy Palmore, Wayne Morris, Kevin Harris. Burial will be in Blue Springs Cemetery, Ashland City.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Goldie Jannette; daughter, Shirley Dozier; sisters, Reddie Palmore, Mary Biggs; brother, George Jannette.
She is survived by daughter, Loretta (Charles) Carney, Springfield, son-in-law, Sonny Dozier, Ashland City, grandsons, Todd Carney, Greenbrier, Curtis Carney, Springfield; granddaughter, Shelia (C.J.) Wilkins, Ashland City; five great-grandchildren; sister, Elizabeth Toler, Ohio; dear friend, Miss Margaret Rinehart, Nashville.
He was born March 11, 1909, in Cheatham County, the son of Zack and Annie Gray Jannette. He was retired from the Highway Department for the State of Tennessee.

Alma Danil Morris
Alma Danil Morris, 82, died on Sunday, Sept. 15, 2002.
Funeral services will be held today, Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2002, at 11 a.m. from the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Bro. Jim Lanius officiating. Burial will follow in Forrest Hills Cemetery, Ashland City. Relatives and friends will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers: members of Lillimay Church of Christ, employees of River Road Utility District and Cheatham County Health Care Service, Ed Gibbs, Gary Bess, Leonard Crouch. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to Cheatham County Health Services Family Council.
She was preceded in death by husband, Mark Morris; brother, Luther Daniel; sister, Gladys Earlene Dreaden.
She is survived by daughter, Nancy (Charles) Morris Drake; granddaughter, Terri Bess; great-grand-daughters, Halie and Emily Bess.
Mrs. Morris and her husband, Mark Morris were owners of Sams Creek Bait Shop. She, along with her husband, helped start the River Road Utility District in 1964. She kept books until her retirement in 1995.

Grace Munn
Grace Munn, 92, died Sunday, Sept. 8, 2002.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2002, at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Bro. Hubert Raines officiating. Burial followed in Cheatham County Memorial Gardens, Pleasant View. Grandsons and nephews served as pallbearers.
She was preceded in death by husband Carl F. Munn.
She is survived by two sons, Roy (Connie) Munn of Ashland City and Thomas (Sue) Munn of Virginia; brother, Norman Ragan of Ashland City, two sisters, Mary Lovell of Ashland City and Willie Edna Jarrell of Charlotte, four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.
She was a member of Greenbrier Church of Christ, Ashland City, and was a homemaker.

Richard Elliott Rives
Richard Elliott Rives, 41, of Rockvale died Saturday, Sept. 14, 2002, at Middle Tennessee Medical Center.
Services were held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2002, at Woodfin Memorial Chapel, Murfreesboro, with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
He is survived by wife, Sherrie Rives; sons, Timothy Gearhart, Rockvale, Tyler Rives, Rockvale and Evan Rives, Rockvale; brothers, Randall (Tammy) Rives, Joelton, and Daniel (Rhonda) Rives, Ashland City; grandmother, Mildred Rives, Madison; several nieces and nephews.
He was a native of Nashville and the son of the late Richard and Glenda Binkley Rives. He was an employee of Nissan.
