Roy E. Dahna
A graveside service for Roy E. Dahna, 71, a Dayton resident for many years, will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Fernley.
Mr. Dahna died Nov. 21, 2002, at his home. He was born Aug. 15, 1931, in Logan County, Kan., to Frank and Minnie M. Eaton Dahna.
Before moving to Dayton, he lived in Bakersfield, Calif.
Mr. Dahna was a manager for Dresser, Inc., Wireline Division, in California for 27 years. He enjoyed fishing, yard work and gardening. He was a member of the American Legion Post No. 26 in Bakersfield for more than 25 years and a lifetime member of the American Petroleum Institute.
He was a Protestant.
He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.
He was preceded in death by brothers Junior, Thomas and Elmer.
Among his survivors are: wife, Nila L. of Dayton; daughters Thresa M. Zylstra of Dayton and Rhoena E. Neff of Bakersfield; and grandchildren Robert Savage of Dayton, Cole, Connor and Cade Neff of Bakersfield.

Thomas Robert Hodges
Thomas Robert Hodges, age 72, died Oct. 16, 2005 at his residence in Fernley.
He was born Feb. 16, 1933 in Detroit, Mich. to Thomas Roscoe and Beatrice Coe Hodges and had lived in Fernley for 28 years.
Thomas was an electrician and owned an electrical contracting business.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ellen, of Fernley; sons, Michael Thomas, of Las Vegas; Thomas Jr. of Reno; Howard of Bunker Hill, West Va.; Gerald of Boise, Idaho; and Scott of Sparks; 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Per his request, no services will be held. Arrangements are under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Home & Crematory in Fallon, 423-2255.
Michael Raymond Rhynard
Michael Raymond Rhynard, 50, died Nov. 15, 2004 in Fern-ley. He was born Dec. 20, 1953 in Spokane, Wash., to Raymond & Ellen Gatino Rhynard. Michael was an electronics technician, working in the music industry. He was also a veteran, having served in the Navy.
He is survived by his mother, Ellen Schneider of Scottsdale, Ariz.

Antony Cabral
Antony Cabral, age 86, passed away Nov. 17, 2004 at Life Care Hospital in Reno. He was born on May 17, 1918 in Oakland, Calif. Antony served in the U.S. Army for four years during World War II. He retired as a truck driver for United Groceries. Antony enjoyed fishing, baseball and watching football. He was a member of the VFW and the American Legion.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise.
He is survived by several cousins and nephews and one uncle.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, Nov. 23 at the Veteran's Cemetery in Fernley at 2:30 p.m. A potluck dinner will follow the service at the VFW in Fallon.
Charles H. "Sam" Currie
Charles H. "Sam" Currie, age 80, died Nov. 19, 2004 at Tahoe-Pacific Hospital-West in Reno.
Currie was born Dec. 3, 1923 in Bishop, Calif., to Robert L. and Caroline Taylor Currie, and had lived in Fallon since 1952, coming from Bishop.
"Sam" was a rancher and farmer in Fallon and was a member of the farm bureau and the haygrowers association. In the late 196's, he was named farmer of the year. He was also a veteran, having served in the Navy during World War II. He graduated high School from Bishop Union High School in Bishop, Calif.
He is survived by his wife Charlene and daughter Laurie Currie, both of Fallon; daughter Bonnie Cowles of Reno, grandsons Tim & Jeffrey Cowles, both of Reno; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Peggy, and by his parents and four siblings.
Private burial will take place at Churchill Public Cemetery in Fallon. A celebration of Sam's life will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Epworth United Methodist Church in Fallon, with a luncheon to follow in the church's Fireside room.
A memorial is established with the Churchill County Museum, 1050 S. Maine St. Fallon, NV, 89406. Donations may also be made to the charity of one's choice.

Ruth Margaret McGee
Ruth Margaret McGee, age 93, passed away Nov. 24, 2004 at Banner Churchill Community Hospital. She was born August 6, 1911 in Pasadena, Calif. to George W. and Alice Margaret Higgins Dodge and had been a Fallon resident for the past 50 years coming from southern California.
She was a member of Myrtle chapter #12 Order of Eastern Star for over 30 years and had served as Worthy Matron. She also served the Grand Chapter of Nevada as Grand Electra and Grand Representatives to Nebraska and Alberta and was a founder/past Guardian of Bethel #176-Jobes Daughter in Temple City, CA. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 65 years, Lyle A. McGee, and great grandson Chase Wenger.
She is survived by her sister Ruby A. Fromm of Arcadia, Calif.; daughters Patricia (Keith) Feary of Newberry Springs, Calif.; daughter Virginia (Donald) West; grandchildren Kimberly (Wesley) Bell; Victoria (Russell) George; Kelly (Ed) Workman all of Fallon; Karen Feary of Elsinore, Utah; Allen (Janet) Feary of St. George, Utah; Valerie (Stan) Kotlowski of Aviano, Italy; 9 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
No services are scheduled. Cremation services are under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Home and Crematory-Fallon.
