In loving Memory of my Dad Mosley Rostice!!!!!!
I'm very sorry that I did not say goodbye to my Dad. I remember, we lived below of my Dad's Barrack in Bad Hersfeld, Germany, and every time around 4 PM my Dad was waving with a white towel, letting my mom know he was on his way home. Then I remember when I was a little girl in Germany my Dad had to go to Vietnam. When it got dark, my mom and I always looked for falling stars and one night I saw a falling star and my wish was that my dad would be coming home from Vietnam. I never told any one about my wish, and then I remember my mom and me were in our house and someone was knocking on the door. I just knew it was my Dad, and it was him! I guess I was the happiest girl in the wide, wide world and then came my baby brother, Robert. After a while, my dad had to leave again. You can say we mainly grew up without our Dad. It was ok, my Dad was in the Army. He always wrote us to let us know that he loved us! And he was always in our hearts. There is not one day that I was not thinking of my dad. I just wish I could have told him about his granddaughter "Lucy". Forgive me, Dad! I love you Dad and miss you!!!! My Mom died on November 5th, 2007 in Germany and I was not there to say goodbye. But i'll say it now "GOODBYE MOM AND DAD REST IN PEACE. I'LL SEE YOU IN HEAVEN" ........ I hope that Juanita and my stepbrothers and sisters forgive me for not being there when they needed me!!
I'm sorry,
Rosemarie Baker
