NAZIRA FARRIS ABDELHAK, 100, of Park Ridge died Wednesday. She was a member of the United Methodist Church and the Golden Age Club, both in Park Ridge. Arrangements: Robert Spearing Funeral Home, Park Ridge.

JOHN J. ACKALITIS, 59, of Fair Lawn died Tuesday. He had been a maintenance supervisor at St. Elizabeth School, Wyckoff, where he worked for 16 years. He was a Navy veteran. He was a parishioner of St. Anne R.C. Church, Fair Lawn. He was a member of the United States Golf Association. Arrangements: Vander Plaat Funeral Home, Wyckoff.

BERNICE MARCINKOWSKI ALLEMAN, 67, of Lodi died Wednesday. Before retiring two years ago, she was a cashier at the Quick Chek store in Saddle Brook. Previously, she was a beautician at Regal Hair Salon, Clifton. She was a member of Saints Peter and Paul Polish National Catholic Church, Passaic. She was a member of the Lodi Women's Bowling League. Arrangements: Shook Funeral Home, Clifton.

LOIS L. ANGRICK, 69, of Mahwah, formerly of Saddle River, died Saturday. She had been an assistant to the superintendent of schools in Glen Rock, where she worked for 16 years. Arrangements: C. C. Van Emburgh Funeral Home, Ridgewood.

MARK R. ANGRICK, 40, of Boulder, Colo., formerly of Upper Saddle River, died Saturday. He was a graduate of Lynchburg (Va.) College. Arrangements: C. C. Van Emburgh Funeral Home, Ridgewood.

PATRICIA L. BERRYMAN ARGYRAKIS, 61, of Suffern, N.Y., died Saturday. Arrangements: Van Emburgh-Sneider Funeral Home, Ramsey.

GABRIEL V. ATTANASIE, 81, of Little Egg Harbor, formerly of Fairview, died Monday. Before retiring, he was a self-employed printer. Arrangements: A. K. Macagna Funeral Home, Cliffside Park.

JOHN A. BARKOWSKI, 80, of Manchester Township, formerly of Clifton, died Tuesday. Before retiring in 1983, he worked for Durante Construction Co., Ramsey, for 30 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of American Legion Post 520, Paramus. Arrangements: Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, Toms River.

LEO B. "DOC" BICHER JR., 83, of Normandy Beach and Hackensack died Tuesday. Before retiring, he was a photo products chemical engineer for Du Pont in Parlin, where he worked for 40 years. He was a parishioner of St. Bonaventure R.C. Church, Normandy Beach, where he served as a Eucharistic minister, and of Holy Trinity R.C. Church, Hackensack, where he was a member of the Holy Name Society. He was a fourth-degree member of the Bishop O'Connor General Assembly, Teaneck. He was a former scoutmaster for Boy Scout Troop 5, Hackensack, and a member of the Hackensack Elks. Arrangements: G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, Hackensack.

JOHN "BLUE" BLACKWELL of Paterson died Monday. Before retiring in 1999, he was a supervisor for Barney's furniture store in Paterson, where he worked for 40 years. He was a Marine Corps veteran. Arrangements: Bragg Funeral Home, Paterson.

PATRICK J. CAUFIELD, 80, of Hackensack died Tuesday. He had been a professor at St. Peter's College, Jersey City, chairman of its education department, and director of its reading center. A graduate of St. Peter's, he received a master's degree from Fordham University in the Bronx. He was an Army veteran of World War II and recipient of the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star. He had been a leader of Boy Scout Troop 5, Hackensack, and received the Archbishop of Newark's Award for Catholic Scouting. Arrangements: Vander Plaat Memorial Home, Paramus.

FRANK D'ANGELO, 91, of Paterson died Wednesday. Before retiring in 1969, he worked for the Paterson Department of Public Works. He was a parishioner of Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church, Paterson, where he was a member of the Holy Name Society and served as an usher. Arrangements: Festa Memorial Funeral Home, Totowa.

MARGARET J. REUTHER DIEHL, 74, of North Bergen died Wednesday. She had co-owned and was executive vice president of Reuther Material Co., North Bergen. She was a past vice president of the Lions Club Auxiliary, North Bergen, and served on the executive board of Camp Marcella for Blind Children. Arrangements: Leber Funeral Home, Union City.

CORA KRIEGER DOUGHERTY, 93, of Haledon, formerly of Prospect Park, died Tuesday. She was a member of Sixth Reformed Church, North Haledon. Arrangements: DeLuccia-Lozito Funeral Home, Haledon.

GRACE S. GAETANI, 86, of Denville, formerly of Kinnelon, died Jan. 2. Before retiring, she was a teacher. She also was a translator at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison. Arrangements: Richards Funeral Home, Riverdale.

EDWARD J. GRADY, 29, of North Bergen died Tuesday. He was a self-employed computer analyst. Arrangements: Vainieri Funeral Home, North Bergen.

CHARLES HARTMANN, 83, of Cape Coral, Fla., formerly of North Bergen, died Jan. 3. Before retiring in 1982, he was an accountant for Pepsico Co., Purchase, N.Y., where he worked for 27 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a recipient of the Bronze Star. Arrangements: Leber Funeral Home, Union City.

MURRAY HORN, 82, of Teaneck, formerly of Haworth, died Wednesday. Before retiring, he owned Horn's Pharmacy, Bergenfield. Arrangements: Wien & Wien, Hackensack.

FLORA ANDERSON JAPPE, 95, of Wayne died Tuesday. She was born in Scotland and came to the United States in 1929. Arrangements: Vander May Wayne Colonial Funeral Home, Wayne.

SADIE E. JOSEPH of Hackensack died Monday. Before retiring, she was a beautician, seamstress, and fashion designer. Arrangements: Earl I. Jones Funeral Home, Hackensack.

EVA LADOS KERTESZ, 77, of Passaic died Tuesday. She was born in Hungary and came to the United States in 1950. Before retiring, she was a packer for Popular Club Plan, Passaic. She was a parishioner of St. Stephen R.C. Church, Passaic. Arrangements: Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, Lexington Avenue, Clifton.

ORA M. KILGORE, 77, of Englewood died Wednesday. She was a member of Community Baptist Church, Englewood. Arrangements: Bragg Funeral Home, Paterson.

BERTHA LEICHTER, 86, of Palisades Park died Wednesday. She was a member of Congregation Sons of Israel, Leonia. Arrangements: Gutterman-Musicant Funeral Home, Hackensack.

ARTHUR D. MEYERS, 66, of North Haledon, formerly of Paterson, died Tuesday. He had worked for Garden State Sausage Co., Hawthorne. Previously, he was a truck driver for Mathieu Chemical Co., Riverdale, where he worked for 27 years. He was a member of Teamsters Local 560, Union City. He was a parishioner of St. John the Baptist R.C. Cathedral, Paterson. Arrangements: Vander Plaat Funeral Home, Wyckoff.

HOWARD MOORE, 82, of Toms River, formerly of North Bergen, died Tuesday. Before retiring in 1982, he was a driver for Red Star Freight Line, where he worked for 34 years. Arrangements: Leber Funeral Home, Union City.

GUY PICCA, 47, of Cliffside Park, formerly of Ridgefield, died Monday. He was an electrician's assistant for Hart Electric Co., Little Ferry. He also worked for Designing Flower Inc., Cliffside Park. He was a parishioner of St. Matthew R.C. Church, Ridgefield. Arrangements: Blackley Funeral Home, Ridgefield.

BENIAMINO PORTA, 91, of Little Ferry, formerly of Hoboken, died Wednesday. He was born in Italy. Before retiring in 1972, he was a mason in New York City. Arrangements: Trinka-Faustini Funeral Home, Little Ferry.

PATSY PROCURO, 79, of Fort Lee, formerly of Fairview and Cliffside Park, died Tuesday. Before retiring in 1986, he was a supervisor for Maxwell House Corp., Hoboken, where he worked for 30 years. JOHN E. SELSER, 84, of Nutley died Wednesday. Before retiring in 1984, he was an executive for Patent Scaffolding Co., Fort Lee, where he worked for 40 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of American Legion Post 70 and the Old Guard, both in Nutley. Arrangements: S. W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, Nutley.

BERNIE SERRA, 51, of Saddle Brook, formerly of Lyndhurst, died Wednesday. He had been a truck driver for Bar San Contractors, Carlstadt, where he worked for 20 years. He was a member of Teamsters Local 560, Union City. Arrangements: Nazare Memorial Home, Lyndhurst.

ATTILIO "AL" SIRI, 89, of Wayne, formerly of Paterson, died Wednesday. He was born in Italy. Before retiring in 1985, he was a chef at Hickory Gardens, Totowa. Previously, he worked for the Westmount Country Club, West Paterson. Arrangements: Festa Memorial Funeral Home, Totowa.

GERALD SLOGINSKI, 60, of West Milford, formerly of Paterson, died Tuesday. Before retiring, he was a firefighter with the Paterson Fire Department for 27 years. He was a Navy veteran. Arrangements: Richards Funeral Home, West Milford.

ANNIE JAMES STATON, 82, of Paterson died Sunday. She had been a dietary aide at the Ann Arbor Nursing Home, Cedar Grove, where she worked for 20 years. She was a member of Bethel Church of God in Christ, Hackensack. Arrangements: Bragg Funeral Home, Paterson.

DOMENICA SCRIVANICH TARABOCCHIA, 69, of Fort Lee, formerly of Hoboken and Ridgefield, died Tuesday. She was born in Croatia and came to the United States in 1961. She was a parishioner of Holy Trinity R.C. Church, Fort Lee. Arrangements: Frank A. Patti & Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home, Fort Lee.

NICK TROSKY, 74, of Clifton died Wednesday. Before retiring in 1988, he was a welder for 30 years and a member of Steamfitters Union Local 274, Ridgefield Park. He served in the merchant marine during World War II. Arrangements: Allwood Funeral Home, Clifton.

HELENE YWOST VANDEWEGHE of Ridgefield, Conn. and Lantana, Fla., formerly of Englewood, died Tuesday. Arrangements: Barrett Funeral Home, Tenafly.

FLOYD VAN KIRK, 79, of Fair Lawn died Sunday. Before retiring in 1981, he was an underwriter for Hanover Insurance Co., New York City, where he worked for 40 years. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of Hawthorne Gospel Church, where he served as a Sunday school teacher and usher. He was a member of the Radburn Association in Fair Lawn.
