Greta Lucille Hill, 84, of Coal Hill died Friday, March 4, 2005, at the home of her daughter, Annette Grisham, in Cabot. She was a homemaker and a member of the Coal Hill Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herschel Hill. Graveside services were Monday at 2 p.m. at Coal Hill Cemetery. Burial was under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home of Clarksville.
Catherine Lee Morrison, 91, of Lamar died Saturday, March 5, 2005, at Countryside Manor Nursing Home. A homemaker and member of the Lamar Baptist Church, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence. Survivors include several nieces and nephews, including Helen McCartney of Ozark. David Boyd Bramlett, 51, of Ozark died Tuesday, April 5, 2005, at Ozark Nursing Home. He was a former heavy equipment operator for the Crawford County Road Department and a member of Vine Prairie Baptist Church, Mulberry. Earl R. Reeves, 74, of Mulberry died Thursday, March 31, 2005, in a Fort Smith hospital. He was a retired general manager of Mulberry Lumber Co. and a member of Main Street Missionary Baptist Church in Mulberry. A member of the Mulberry Fire Department for 33 years, he served as chief from 1976-1979, and was on the Fireman's Pension Board for 27 years. He worked at Whirlpool Corp. for seven years and was a member of the Mulberry City Council from 1965-1971. Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Monday at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was at New Cemetery in Mulberry.
Mable Anice Kanady, 93, of Ratcliff died Thursday, March 31, 2005, in her home. She retired as a baker for the El Monte Union High School District in El Monte, Calif., and was a member of the Caulksville Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He was a retired coal miner, a Marine veteran of World War II, a graduate of Hartman High School and a member of Springhill Masonic Lodge No. 118 and Union Grove Baptist Church. Ruth V. Gray, 79, died March 23, 2005, in Piedmont, Mo. Mrs. Gray had worked for Clark's Mountain Nursing Center and was a Baptist. She was the mother of Rebecca Pruitt, Charlotte Cox and Leslie Yoakem, all of Ozark, and Donna Sutterfield of Mountain Home. Nancy Catherine "Kate" Pesterfield Logan, 95, died Wednesday, May 25, 2005, in Oklahoma City. She was reared at Alix and lived there until World War II, when they moved to California. Loy Bett Wagner and Woodrow Wagner -- Loy Bett Wagner, 88, of the Holdenville, Okla., area died May 28, 2005, in a Holdenville nursing home, and her husband, Woodrow, 89, died the following day in a tractor accident on their homeplace. Mrs. Wagner was reared in the Pleasant View community and attended Pleasant View School. Mr. Wagner was born in the Lonelm community and was a graduate of Mulberry High School. He spent many years working in the Oklahoma oil fields while also farming and raising livestock. She was a homemaker and also had worked at the Moss School cafeteria and later for Seamproof in Holdenville. Funeral services for the couple were Thursday at 2 p.m. at Living Water Pentecostal Holiness Church, with burial at Wetumka Cemetery.
