JENNIE "JUANA" GUZMAN CASTRO, 72, of Fairview died Monday. She was born in Cuba. Before retiring in 1989, she was a supervisor of office maintenance for WOR-TV, New York City, where she worked for 28 years. She was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church, Bergenfield. Arrangements: McCorry Bros. Funeral Home, Cliffside Park.

WILLIAM CATALIOTO, 59, of Hasbrouck Heights died Sunday. He owned Manzella Cleaning Service, Hasbrouck Heights, for 10 years. Previously, he was a police officer in Lodi and Wood-Ridge, and for the Waterfront Commission. He was a Navy veteran and member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, Lodi. Arrangements: Alesso Funeral Home, Lodi.

LESTER R. COMES, 80, of Teaneck died Sunday. Before retiring, he was a lithographer for Rudco Corp., Teaneck. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Audubon Society. Arrangements: Riewerts Memorial Home, Bergenfield.

BIENVENIDO DeGUZMAN, 77, of Chestnut Ridge, N.Y., formerly of Dumont, died Saturday. Before retiring, he was a dentist. He was a member and former officer of the Philippine American Community of Bergen County. Arrangements: Barrett Funeral Home, Tenafly.

MARGARET WALSH DeSANGUINE, 77, of Clifton died Monday. Arrangements: Shook Funeral Home, Clifton.

THOMAS R. EDWARDS, 67, of East Rutherford died Sunday. He was a truck driver for Nu-Car Carriers, Mahwah. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War. He was a parishioner of St. Joseph R.C. Church, East Rutherford. Arrangements: Kimak Funeral Home, Carlstadt.

HAROLD J. ENGELBRECHT, 77, of Clifton died Monday. Before retiring in 1989, he was a truck driver for Abbey Bindery, Newark. Previously, he was a driver for Thompson Printing Co., Clifton; and Tenneco Inc., East Rutherford. He was a Teamster. He was a member and former elder of First Presbyterian Church, Clifton, and served on its building and grounds committee. He was a member of the Young at Heart Club, Clifton. Arrangements: Allwood Funeral Home, Clifton.

EDOUARD A. J. GAGNE, 48, of Clifton died Saturday. He was a production supervisor for Future Productions, and a technician and facilities manager for Causa International. He was a member of New Jersey Family Church Congregation, Clifton. He was a volunteer for the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification. Arrangements: Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home, Dobbs Ferry, N.Y.

KENNETH B. GARSCHINA, 85, of Butler, formerly of Elmwood Park, died Sunday. Before retiring in 1982, he had been a lithographer. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Arrangements: Vander May Wayne Colonial Funeral Home, Wayne.

JERVIS T. GENTLES, 72, of Paterson died Friday. He was born in Jamaica. He was a machine operator for Colorite Chemical Co. Arrangements: Bragg Funeral Home, Paterson.

FRANK P. GIGLINTO, 68, of Bluffton, S.C., formerly of Saddle Brook, died Thursday. He was an Army veteran. He had been a soccer and wrestling coach in Hackensack. He was a member of Unico, Saddle Brook. He was a former parishioner of St. Philip R.C. Church, Saddle Brook. Arrangements: Santangelo Funeral Home, Lodi.

JOSEPHINE CHISHOLM GILSON, 88, of Ridgefield Park died Monday. She was a parishioner of St. Francis R.C. Church, Ridgefield Park, and was a member of its Rosary Society and Court of St. Francis Catholic Daughters. She was also a member of Knit Wits, Ridgefield Park. Arrangements: Vorhees Funeral Home, Ridgefield Park.

ALDO J. GREGORY, 80, of Clifton died Monday. Before retiring in 1985, he was president of ECI Airflyte Co., Fairfield. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a parishioner of Sacred Heart R.C. Church, Clifton, and a member of North Jersey Country Club, Wayne. Arrangements: Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, Van Houten Avenue, Clifton.

JOSEPH S. HAWKINS, 91, of River Edge died Sunday. He worked for Potdevin Machine Co., Caldwell, and was a Rotarian member of its Teterboro branch. He was a volunteer chef at First Congregational Church, River Edge, and was an honorary Girl Scout. Arrangements: Volk-Leber Funeral Home, Oradell.

THERESA R. RENICK KOWALONEK, 72, of Wayne, formerly of Paterson, died Sunday. Before retiring in 1996, she had been an order picker for Team Distributing, Wayne, where she worked for 30 years. She was a parishioner of Holy Cross R.C. Church, Wayne. Arrangements: Vander May Wayne Colonial Funeral Home, Wayne.

IRENE V. LANE, 81, of Englewood died Friday. Before retiring, she was a secretary at Dwight Morrow High School, Englewood. She was parishioner of St. Cecilia R.C. Church, Englewood. Arrangements: Barrett Funeral Home, Tenafly.

SISTER MIRIAM T. MANGAN, 82, of Englewood Cliffs died Sunday. She entered the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Peace, Englewood Cliffs, in 1955, and pronounced final vows in 1961. Before retiring in 1985, she ministered at Villa Marie Claire, Saddle River, and St. Michael Villa, Englewood Cliffs. She also taught at Annunciation School, Paramus; Holy Cross School, Wayne; Holy Rosary School, Edgewater; St. Elizabeth School, Wyckoff; and Immaculate Heart Academy, Washington Township. Arrangements: Angelo G. Mania Funeral Directors, Cliffside Park.

HELEN MILAN, 92, of Wanaque died Sunday. Before retiring in 1974, she was a teacher in the Newark school system, where she taught for 40 years. Arrangements: D'Agostino Funeral Home, Wanaque.

JEANETTE RONCORONI MUELLER, 98, of East Rutherford, formerly of Carlstadt, died Monday. Before retiring in 1968, she was a silk weaver for Scharg Bros., Carlstadt. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph R.C. Church, East Rutherford. Arrangements: Kohler Funeral Home, Wood-Ridge.

MARY E. HAINES-COX NOVAK of Wayne died Sunday. Before retiring in 1992, she was an administrative assistant to the president at American Cyanamid Corp., Wayne, where she worked for 25 years. She was a graduate of William Paterson University, Wayne. She was a parishioner of Immaculate Heart of Mary R.C. Church, Wayne, where she served as a Eucharistic minister and trustee and was a member of the choir. She was a former member of the Packanack Lake Board of Governors and the Packanack Bowling League, and served as Packanack Lake commissioner of girls' activities. She was past president of Elks Lodge 2181 auxiliary, and was deputy leader of the Republican Party, both in Wayne. She was a volunteer for United Givers. Arrangements: Vander May Wayne Colonial Funeral Home, Wayne.

MARION T. SEDEYN PALADINO, 75, of Lodi died Monday. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph R.C. Church, Lodi. Arrangements: Santangelo Funeral Home, Lodi.

OLGA PALATINI, 88, of Clifton died Sunday. Before retiring, she was a seamstress. She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart R.C. Church, Clifton. Arrangements: Marrocco Memorial Chapel, Parker Avenue, Clifton.

DORIS LENOY PASQUARIELLO of Boynton Beach, Fla., formerly of Paterson, died Monday. Before retiring in 1984, she was supervisor of toll collectors at the George Washington Bridge for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, Fort Lee, where she worked for 25 years. She was a former parishioner of St. Gerard R.C. Church, Paterson.

HELEN M. McROBERTS ROCK, 87, of Glen Rock died Sunday. Before retiring, she was a saleswoman for Macy's Department Store, Paramus, where she worked for 25 years. She was a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd and the Senior Citizen Advisory Committee, both in Glen Rock, and The Valley Hospital auxiliary, Ridgewood. Arrangements: Vander Plaat Colonial Home, Fair Lawn.

MARIE A. L. SANSEVERE, 89, of Hackensack died Sunday. Before retiring, she was a buyer for Mundet Corp., North Bergen, where she worked for 35 years. She was a parishioner of Immaculate Conception R.C. Church and a member of the St. Francis Socialites, both in Hackensack. Arrangements: G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, Hackensack.

LaTANYA TRENACE SAUNDERS, 27, of Paterson died Friday. She worked for the Oakridge Nursing Home, Wayne. Arrangements: Bragg Funeral Home, Paterson.

JODI L. SCAVETTA, 30, of West Palm Beach, Fla., formerly of Cliffside Park, died Thursday. She was a former member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Cliffside Park. Arrangements: McCorry Bros. Funeral Home, Cliffside Park.

JEANNE GROMANN STRUBLE, 74, of Wanaque died Monday. She was a parishioner of St. Mary R.C. Church, Pompton Lakes. Arrangements: D'Agostino Funeral Home, Wanaque.

JAMES STUHRMANN, 47, of Hawthorne, formerly of North Bergen, died Monday. He was a certified public accountant for Rolex Corp., Hillside. Previously, he owned a private accounting practice in Hawthorne for 14 years. He was a member of the State Societies of Certified Public Accountants. Arrangements: Browning-Forshay Funeral Home, Hawthorne.

DONALD P. TEVIS, 78, of Mahwah died Monday. Before retiring, he worked for First Boston Corp. in Manhattan. Arrangements: Van Emburgh-Sneider Funeral Home, Ramsey.

ROSE M. CAMPBELL TOAL, 85, of Hasbrouck Heights died Monday. Before retiring, she was an X-ray technician for U.S. Public Health, New York City, where she worked for 20 years. Previously, she was an X-ray technician for Beth Israel Hospital, Passaic. She was a parishioner of Corpus Christi R.C. Church, Hasbrouck Heights. FRANCES M. VERNON, 95, of Ridgewood died Sunday. She had owned The Shop on the Corner, Ridgewood. She was a member of Gold Star Mothers of Bergen County and was past president of the American Legion Auxiliary of Waldwick Post 57. Arrangements: C. C. Van Emburgh Funeral Home, Ridgewood.

DAVID G. WOMACK of Hackensack died Sunday. Before retiring, he was a maintenance worker at the Garden State Plaza, Paramus. He was a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church, Hackensack, and its Gospel Choir and was church sexton. Arrangements: Earl I. Jones Funeral Home, Hackensack.

JOSEPHINE A. BLONDEK ZAK, 85, of Garland, Texas, formerly of Clifton, died Saturday. She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart R.C. Church, Garland, and a former parishioner of St. John Kanty R.C. Church, Clifton. Arrangements: Shook Funeral Home, Clifton.
