JOSE D. ASTE, 26, of Paterson died Saturday. He was born in Peru. He was a former parishioner of the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist and had attended Northside Community Christian Reformed Church, both in Paterson. He was a member of the New Jersey Youth Corps. Arrangements: LaGarde Family Funeral Home, Clifton.

CARMINE S. BRIGUGLIO, 76, of Bethlehem, Pa., formerly of Park Ridge, died Tuesday. Before retiring, he was a chemical engineer for Lipton in Englewood Cliffs. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Arrangements: Leber Funeral Home, Union City.

ADRIAN J. DRUMMOND, infant son of Leroy Drummond and Pauline Swaby of Paterson, died last Friday. Arrangements: Bragg Funeral Home, Paterson.

MARIA MALITS FRISCH, 73, of Clifton died Thursday. Born in Austria, she came to the United States in 1955. Before retiring in 1993, she worked for SmithKline Beecham in Clifton. She was a parishioner of Holy Trinity R.C. Church, Passaic, and a member of its Golden Agers. Arrangements: Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, Van Houten Avenue, Clifton.

AGNES SIENON GELETKA, 94, of East Rutherford died Tuesday. Arrangements: Wozniak Home for Funerals, Wallington.

CONSTANCE J. "CONNIE" VITALE GENNARO, 75, of West Paterson died Thursday. Before retiring in 1955, she was a seamstress for Barbizon Inc. Arrangements: Festa Memorial Funeral Home, Totowa.

CHARLES D. GILBERT of Spring Valley, N.Y., formerly of Paterson, died Monday. He was a driver for Falk Trucking Co., for 20 years. He was an Army veteran. Arrangements: Bragg Funeral Home, Paterson.

ALFRED GIORDANO, 68, of Honesdale, Pa., formerly of Pequannock, died Wednesday. He had been a security guard. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. Arrangements: Richards Funeral Home, Riverdale.

ELSBETH A. WENNG GREEN, 88, of West Haven, Conn., formerly of Ridgefield Park, died Thursday. She had been a registered nurse at Jersey City Medical Center and was a member of its School of Nursing alumni association. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Ridgefield Park. Arrangements: Vorhees Funeral Home, Ridgefield Park.

YOLANDA LATEANO HANFORD, 79, of North Bergen died Thursday. Arrangements: Vainieri Funeral Home, North Bergen.

GLORIA S. KAEUMLEN, 75, of Waldwick died Tuesday. Arrangements: C. C. Van Emburgh Funeral Home, Ridgewood.

FRED W. LUHMANN, 99, of Selbyville, Del., formerly of New Milford, died Wednesday. Before retiring in 1971, he was a custodian for Music and Arts High School, New York City. Arrangements: Watson Funeral Home, Millsboro, Del.

FRANK J. MILITELLO, 85, of Totowa died Wednesday. Before retiring in 1981, he was a machinist for Hewitt and Robbins Inc., Passaic. He was an Army veteran of World War II, and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and Disabled American Veterans. Arrangements: Festa Memorial Funeral Home, Totowa.

SISTER BERNADETTE MORAN, 72, of Tenafly died Wednesday. She was born in Ireland. Before retiring, she was a teacher for St. Francis Academy, Union City. Arrangements: Riewerts Memorial Home, Bergenfield.

ANNA M. DOMBROWSKI NEVATINSKI, 88, of Wayne, formerly of Clifton, died Wednesday. Before retiring in 1977, she was a machine operator for Standard Packing, Clifton. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Consolation R.C. Church, Wayne. Arrangements: Moore's Home for Funerals, Wayne.

MURIEL C. NEWMAN, 88, of Saddle Brook died Wednesday. Before retiring, she was an office manager for W.T. Grant in New York City. She was a parishioner of St. Philip the Apostle R.C. Church, Saddle Brook, and served as trustee for the Saddle Brook Free Public Library. She was a member of the Saddle Brook Chapter of the New Jersey State Federation of Women's Clubs. Arrangements: Vander Plaat Colonial Home, Fair Lawn.

NICHOLAS PSARROS, 47, of Wayne died Wednesday. He owned Libby's Lunch in Paterson for 19 years. He was a member of St. George Greek Orthodox Church, Clifton, and High Mountain Golf Club, Franklin Lakes. Arrangements: Shook Funeral Home, Clifton.

SALVATORE RICCOBONO, 76, of Bergenfield died Wednesday. He was born in Italy. Before retiring, he was a manager for Met Foods, Queens, N.Y. He was a parishioner of Ascension R.C. Church, New Milford. Arrangements: Riewerts Memorial Home, Bergenfield.

EUGENE R. SAAM, 60, of Clifton died Thursday. Before retiring in 1997, he was a forecaster for Public Service Electric and Gas Co., Newark. He was a parishioner of St. Philip the Apostle R.C. Church, Clifton. Arrangements: Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, Van Houten Avenue, Clifton.

GIZELLA PATSCHER SCHWEIGHARDT, 96, of Garfield died Wednesday. She was born in Hungary. She was a parishioner of Most Holy Name R.C. Church, Garfield, and a member of its Rosary Society. Arrangements: Wozniak Home for Funerals, Wallington.

LAWRENCE I. SILVERSTEIN, 76, of Clifton died Wednesday. Before retiring in 1998, he worked for J.I. Kislak and Co., Newark, and was a partner in Buchbinder, Silverstein, and Solove, Springfield, N.Y. He was a graduate of New York Law School. He was a board member of the General Hospital Center Foundation, Passaic; the Boys and Girls Club and the Optimists Club, both in Clifton. He was a member of Temple Emanuel, Passaic. Arrangements: Gutterman-Musicant, Hackensack.

TYRONE SUMTER, 40, of Paterson died Wednesday. He was a member of Community Baptist Church of Love, Paterson, and had attended Faith Chapel Sunday School. Arrangements: LaGarde Family Funeral Home, Clifton.

MAX A. VNUK, 94, of Clifton, formerly of Paterson, died Thursday. He had owned Fensters Yarn Store, Paterson. He was a member of Temple Emanuel, Paterson, and Knights of Pythias Fabiola Lincoln Lodge. Arrangements: Robert Schoem's Menorah Chapel, Paramus.

ANN L. HUDSON WEST, 70, of Denville, formerly of Rutherford, died Wednesday. Before retiring, she was a secretary with St. Mary's High School. Subsequently, she was a secretary for to the borough clerk in Rutherford. Arrangements: Collins-Calhoun Funeral Home, Rutherford.
