He was a member of Policemen's Benevolent Association Local 1, Paterson, and the New Jersey PBA. He also owned Great Falls Security and Falls City Security, both in Paterson. Church, Fairfield, where he was a church and school sexton. He was a member of the Board of Adjustment and the Special Police, both in Fairfield, and had been a civil defense volunteer.
