RICHARD U. BLAKISTON, 68, of Rutherford died Thursday. He had been a salesman for Becton Dickinson and Co., East Rutherford. He was a graduate of Colgate University. He was a Marine Corps veteran. Arrangements: Collins-Calhoun Funeral Home, Rutherford.

ROBERT A. BROWN JR., 70, of Milford, Del., formerly of Lodi, died Thursday. Before retiring in 1990, he was a truck driver for Kraemer Chemical, Clifton, where he worked for 30 years. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War. Arrangements: Rogers Funeral Home, Milford.

VINCENZA "VIRGINIA" BRUCATO, 85, of Lodi died Thursday. Before retiring, she was a loan officer for the Veterans Administration in New York City. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph R.C. Church, Lodi. Arrangements: Santangelo Funeral Home, Lodi.

DELMA S. CHIRICHELLA, 66, of Paterson died Thursday. Before retiring in 1994, she was a secretary for ITT Corp. in Paramus, where she worked for 35 years. She was a parishioner of St. Gerard R.C. Church, Paterson. She was a member of the Totowa-Wayne Chapter of the Deborah Heart and Lung Foundation. Arrangements: Aquino Colonial Funeral Home, Paterson.

MARGARET ROONEY DORAN, 91, of Caldwell, formerly of Jersey City and North Arlington, died Friday. Before retiring in 1971, she worked in the production department of A. D. Eyre Co., Jersey City, where she was employed for 20 years. Arrangements: Parow Funeral Home, North Arlington.

BEVERLY J. FISCHER, 70, of the Greenbriar Woodlands section of Toms River, formerly of Dumont, died Thursday. She was a parishioner of St. Luke R.C. Church, Toms River. Arrangements: D'Elia Funeral Home, Lakewood.

ROBERT A. GOGOY, 42, of Passaic died Thursday. He was a machinist for M&M Machine Co., Paterson. He was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Byzantine Catholic Cathedral, Passaic. Arrangements: Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, Van Houten Avenue, Clifton.

MICHAEL L. GOLICK, 69, of Garfield died Thursday. Before retiring, he was an assembler for Curtis Electronics, Carlstadt, where he worked for 10 years. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a parishioner of St. Mary R.C. Church and a member of the Slovak Catholic Sokols, both in Passaic. Arrangements: Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, Lexington Avenue, Clifton.

BERTRAM GOODMAN, 65, of Wayne died Thursday. He had been a self-employed certified public accountant in Wayne and was a member of the New Jersey Association of Certified Public Accountants. He was a member of Temple Beth Tikvah, Wayne. Arrangements: Robert Schoem's Menorah Chapel, Paramus.

EDWIN P. GORDON of Fort Lee died Thursday. He had been a self-employed attorney in Union City. He was a graduate of Harvard University Law School. He was a veteran of World War II. He was a member of the New Jersey and Hudson County Bar associations. He was past master of Masonic Lodge 215. Arrangements: Gutterman-Musicant, Hackensack.

ARTHUR E. HOFFMANN, 89, of Kinnelon, formerly of Riverdale, died Friday. Before retiring, he was a Bergen County probation officer for 32 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II and past commander of American Legion Post 128, Teaneck. He was a member of Kinnelon United Methodist Church. Arrangements: Richards Funeral Home, Riverdale.

HELEN MILSOP JAGER, 92, of Princeton, formerly of Paterson, died Friday. Before retiring in 1971, she was a first-grade teacher for the Paterson school system, where she taught for 22 years. She was a member of the New Jersey Education Association and a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Clifton. Arrangements: The Mather-Hodge Funeral Home, Princeton.

EDWARD E. JOHNSON of the Bronx, formerly of Hackensack, died June 16. He had been a groundskeeper for Hackensack University Medical Center and also a plastic handler for Plexall Plastic Co., Queens. Arrangements: Earl I. Jones Funeral Home, Hackensack.

WALTER T. KARPINCHIK, 72, of Garfield died Thursday. He had been a carpenter for Wm. Stumpp Construction Co., Hasbrouck Heights. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2640, Wallington. He was a parishioner of St. Stanislaus Kostka R.C. Church, Garfield. Arrangements: Kamienski Funera, Home, Garfield.

MARY I. STRINGER KRAYTHEIM, 73, of Paterson died Wednesday. Before retiring in 1979, she was a receptionist at the St. Joseph Home for the Elderly, Totowa, where she worked for 11 years. She was a parishioner of St. George R.C. Church, Paterson, and a volunteer at the Little Sisters of the Poor Home, Totowa. Arrangements: Minchin Funeral Home, Paterson.

JOSEPH LaPORTA, 64, of Little Falls died Friday. He had been a graphic artist for RPR Graphics Inc., Mountainside. He was a Navy veteran. He was a parishioner of Holy Angels R.C. Church, Little Falls. Arrangements: Bizub-Parker Funeral Home, Little Falls.

FREDERIC C. LOEW, 68, of Ridgewood died Wednesday. Before retiring, he was a self-employed chemist. Arrangements: C. C. Van Emburgh Funeral Home, Ridgewood.

JOSEPH L. LUSSI SR., 78, of Little Falls died Wednesday. Before retiring 10 years ago, he was a machinist for Astro-Valcour Corp., where he worked for 25 years. He was a parishioner of Holy Angels R.C. Church, Little Falls. Arrangements: Minchin Funeral Home, Paterson.

JAMES W. MARTIN, 69, of Gansevoort, N.Y., formerly of Allendale, died Monday. Before retiring in 1990, he was a teacher at Northern Highlands Regional High School, Allendale, where he taught for 25 years. He was an Army veteran. He was a graduate of the State University of New York at Stonybrook. Arrangements: Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, Clifton Park, N.Y.

MARY CUOCO ORDINI, 79, of Phoenix, Ariz., formerly of Clifton, died Tuesday. Before retiring, she was a seamstress in the Passaic area garment industry. She was a parishioner of St. Andrew R.C. Church, Clifton. Arrangements: Shook Funeral Home, Clifton.

CATHERINE PEIST, 91, of Hackensack died Wednesday. Before retiring in 1974, she was a telephone operator at the Hotel Sutton, New York City. Arrangements: Hackensack Funeral Home.

HELEN M. POST, 85, of Pequannock died Thursday. Arrangements: Richards Funeral Home, Riverdale.

JOAN M. O'MARA ROSSI, 78, of Clifton died Thursday. Before retiring, she worked for Hyatt Bearings Corp., Harrison, and also was a freelance fashion artist. She had been principal of the CCD program at St. Philips School and a substitute teacher at Pope Paul VI High School, both in Clifton. She was a parishioner of St. Philip the Apostle R.C. Church, Clifton, and a member of its Rosary Society. Arrangements: Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, Van Houten Avenue, Clifton.

LORETTA C. FREDA RUSSO, 97, of Elmwood Park died Thursday. She was born in Italy. Before retiring in 1965, she co-owned Russo's Bakery, Garfield. She was a parishioner of St. Leo R.C. Church, Elmwood Park. Arrangements: Aloia Funeral Home, Garfield.

PETER J. SCHOENER, 73, of Rutherford died Thursday. He had been president of Alliance Maritime, New York City. He was a parishioner of St. Mary R.C. Church, Rutherford. He was a member of the Rutherford Old Guard. Arrangements: Collins-Calhoun Funeral Home, Rutherford.
