HELEN J. ALBER, 87, of Raritan, formerly of Ridgewood, died Wednesday. She was a member of United Methodist Church, Bridgewater, and a former 40-year member of Chapter 39 of the Order of the Eastern Star. Arrangements: Bruce VanArsdale Funeral Home, Somerville.

FRANK BUSHEY, 82, of Clifton died Friday. Before retiring in 1984, he was a foundry worker for Leslie Co., Parsippany, for 30 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of the Athenia Veterans Post, Clifton. He was a parishioner of St. John R.C. Church, Clifton. Arrangements: Shook Funeral Home, Clifton.

VIVIAN CAMPANA, 81, of Fort Mill, S.C., formerly of Jersey City and Demarest, died Friday. Before retiring, she was an account executive for Volkswagen Inc., Englewood Cliffs. She was a member of the American Bible Society, New York City. She had been a missionary in Nigeria and Colombia and was a leader of the Women's Missionary Council. Arrangements: Shook's Cedar Grove Funeral Home.

ROSE MASSASE CARFAGNO, 74, of Clifton, formerly of Paterson, died Wednesday. Arrangements: Minchin Funeral Home, Paterson.

PASQUALE "PAT" COLELLA, 79, of Paterson died Friday. Before retiring in 1987, he owned Joli Beauty Supply, Paterson, for 20 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a parishioner of St. Mary R.C. Church, Paterson, and a member of Elks Lodge 2111 and the Franklin Pleasure Club. Arrangements: Aquino Colonial Funeral Home, Paterson.

PETER R. DELVECCHIO, 85, of Fort Pierce, Fla., formerly of Oradell, died Wednesday. Before retiring, he was an administrator for the Bergen County Sheriff's Department, Hackensack. He was a graduate of the John Marshall Law School. He was an Army veteran. Arrangements: Haisley-Hobbs Funeral Home, Fort Pierce.

JOSEPH A. FAZIO, 80, of Hackensack died Thursday. Before retiring 17 years ago, he was a building and painting contractor and owned Joseph A. Fazio Co., Hackensack. He was an Army Air Force veteran of World War II. He was a parishioner of Holy Trinity R.C. Church, Hackensack. Arrangements: G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, Hackensack.

L. PAUL GOODWIN of Hackensack died Friday. Before retiring, he was a salesman for Benjamin Moore Paint Co., Montvale, where he worked for 46 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6467 and a former member of the Board of Education, both in Bergenfield. He was a committeeman for Boy Scout Troop 180. Arrangements: Trinka-Faustini Funeral Home, Maywood.

CRIS HATZFELD, 49, of Little Ferry died Wednesday. He was a welder. He was an Army veteran. Arrangements: Vorhees Funeral Home, Ridgefield Park.

MATTHEW B. HILLOCK, 68, of Ramsey died Thursday. Before retiring in 1990, he owned Patriot Home Improvements, Ramsey. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the American Legion, and the Korean War Veterans. He was a parishioner of St. Paul R.C. Church, Ramsey. Arrangements: Van Emburgh-Sneider Funeral Home, Ramsey.

BRONISLAW JANECZKO, 73, of Wallington died Thursday. He was born in Poland. Before retiring in 1985, he was a material dyer for Dye House Co., Passaic. He was a parishioner of Most Sacred Heart of Jesus R.C. Church, Wallington. Arrangements: Wozniak Home for Funerals, Wallington.

GLADYS M. V. TUCKER JOHNSON, 100, of Paramus, formerly of Lyndhurst, died Thursday. Before retiring, she was pastor of the Salvation Army in New York City. Arrangements: Vander Plaat Memorial Home, Paramus.

ALICE E. DAVIS JONES, 72, of Paterson died Wednesday. Before retiring in 1992, she was a supervisor at the North Jersey Developmental Center, Totowa, where she worked for 30 years. She was a member of Second Baptist Church, Paterson. Arrangements: Bragg Funeral Home, Paterson.

BETH KEYES, 43, of Hackensack, formerly of Fair Lawn, died Thursday. She had been a volunteer for the American Cancer Society and Hackensack University Medical Center. Arrangements: Robert Schoem's Menorah Chapel, Paramus.

ABRAM LEIB, 80, of Sunrise, Fla., formerly of Fair Lawn, died Thursday. Before retiring, he was a self-employed taxi driver in New York City. Arrangements: Louis Suburban Chapel, Fair Lawn.

FRANK LEITGEB, 80, of Bergenfield died Friday. He had been a bookbinder for Tauber Bindery, Jersey City. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a parishioner of St. John R.C. Church, Bergenfield. Arrangements: Riewerts Memorial Home, Bergenfield.

SOPHIA MORGAN, 103, of Milford, Pa., formerly of Paterson, died Tuesday. Before retiring, she was a secretary for Kessler Plumbing Co., Paterson. She was a member of Bethel Evangelical Church, Fair Lawn. Arrangements: Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, Port Jervis, N.Y.

JENNIE L. GATTO SCHILLER, 77, of Wood-Ridge, formerly of Carlstadt, died Friday. Before retiring in 1980, she was an executive secretary for Macy's department store, New York City. She was a parishioner of Assumption R.C. Church, Wood-Ridge. She was a member of the Senior Citizens, Wood-Ridge, where she was a former corresponding secretary and sunshine lady. Arrangements: Kohler Funeral Home, Wood-Ridge.

JOSEPH SINAGRA, 78, of Palisades Park died Tuesday. He was born in Italy. Before retiring, he was an assembly-line supervisor for Ford Motor Co. in Mahwah, and had worked for Ford for 35 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a parishioner of St. Michael R.C. Church, Palisades Park. He was a member of the Senior Citizens, Palisades Park, and AARP. Arrangements: Volk-Leber Funeral Home, Palisades Park.

DAVID L. "DEE BO" SMITH, 33, of Hackensack, formerly of Paterson, died Monday. He had been a building construction worker. Arrangements: Bragg Funeral Home, Paterson.

SONJA J. SPRING, 80, of Cresskill died Thursday. She was a member of United Methodist Church, Demarest, and the Senior Citizens of Cresskill and Northvale. Arrangements: Barrett Funeral Home, Tenafly.

SARA J. STARRS, 87, of Midland Park died Thursday. Before retiring in 1975, she was a teacher at Public Schools 15 and 25, Paterson, where she taught for 40 years. She was a member of the National and New Jersey Education associations and the Paterson Teachers Association. Arrangements: Vander Plaat Funeral Home, Wyckoff.

CHARLOTTE DARDIA STIEFEL, 65, of Elloree, S.C., formerly of West Milford, died Friday. She had been a dispatcher for the West Milford Police Department. She was active in the Boy Scouts of America and was a recipient of its Silver Beaver award. She had been president of the Marshall Hill PTA, West Milford. Arrangements: Fogle-Hungerpiller Funeral Home, Elloree.

JEAN A. ANDRIKO SUFFERN, 81, of Passaic died Wednesday. Before retiring, she was an electronics inspector. She was a parishioner of St. Anthony R.C. Church, Passaic. Arrangements: Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, Lexington Avenue, Clifton.

NICHOLAS VAN CALCAR, 86, of Wyckoff died Friday. He was born in the Netherlands. Before retiring in 1987, he was a self-employed painting contractor for 50 years. He was an Army veteran. He was a parishioner of St. Elizabeth R.C. Church, Wyckoff. Arrangements: Vander Plaat Funeral Home, Wyckoff.

BARBARA D. PROHAMMER VILLANOVA, 88, of Fair Lawn, formerly of Lyndhurst, died Thursday. Before retiring in 1975, she was a mail-order clerk for B. Altman & Co., East Rutherford. She was a member of Emblem Club 72, Lyndhurst. Arrangements: Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, Lyndhurst.

CHARLENE KOCH VISCO, 53, of Carlstadt, formerly of Jersey City, died Wednesday. Before retiring in 1997, she was a waitress at the Medieval Times restaurant, Lyndhurst. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph R.C. Church, East Rutherford. Arrangements: Ippolito Stellato Funeral Home, Lyndhurst.

OLA M. MOORE WILLIAMS, 67, of Passaic died Wednesday. Arrangements: Powell-Marrocco Funeral Home, Clifton.

DAVID WILLIAMSON, 70, of Hopatcong, formerly of Pompton Lakes, died Thursday. Before retiring, he was a truck driver for the Borough of Pompton Lakes. He was a Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War. Arrangements: Richards Funeral Home, Riverdale.

CHARLES R. WOLFF JR., 64, of Beaver Dam, Wis., formerly of Little Falls and Clifton, died Thursday. He had been an adjuster for St. Paul Insurance Co. in New Jersey. He also was a family and marriage counselor. He was a Navy veteran and later served in the Naval Reserves. He was a graduate of William Paterson College, Wayne, with a master's degree in psychology. Arrangements: Cress Funeral and Cremation Service, Sun Prairie, Wis.
