EDWARD G. ADAMS, 72, of Bogota, formerly of Palisades Park, died Thursday. Before retiring in 1995, he was a precision machinist for Versa Valve, Paramus, where he worked for 20 years. An Army veteran of the Korean War, he was a member and former chaplain of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5561, Bogota. He was a volunteer at Holy Name Hospital, Teaneck, a former member of the Palisades Park First Aid Squad, and a former scoutmaster of Boy Scout Troop 44, Bogota. He was a member of the Church of the Nazarene, Paramus, where he served as a greeter. Arrangements: Petrik Funeral Home, Bogota.
LISA C. GARGIULO AMMERMAN of Upper Saddle River, formerly of Jersey City, died Wednesday. She had been a speech therapist in the Bergen County vocational school system. MARY N. BRIZZOLARA BJELIS, 72, of Moonachie died Wednesday. Before retiring in 1992, she was a secretary for Keebler in Moonachie, where she worked for 12 years. GIACINTO BONANATE, 79, of Palisades Park died Wednesday. Before retiring in 1978, he was an electronic equipment quality spe#####t for the U.S. Department of Defense at Fort Monmouth. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a parishioner of St. Nicholas R.C. Church, Palisades Park. He had been a member and vice chairman of community health for the New Jersey chapter of the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation.
