He was a member of the Lodi Chamber of Commerce, a past trustee of Saints Peter and Paul Russian Orthodox Cathedral, Passaic, a board member of the American Heart Association, and a regent at Felician College, Lodi. She was a member of the United Methodist churches of Westwood and Hillsdale, where she was president of the Woman's Organization, chairman of the Administrative Board and the board of trustees, conference delegate, and organist. She was a certified lay speaker for 75 years and a founding member of the Westwood Clergy Council. She was past matron of Temple Chapter 62 and a member of Adoniram Court of Order of the Eastern Star. She had been president and chaplain of the Westwood Seniors and a member of the AARP.
