ELIZABETH C. "DONICA" HALL ADAMS, 60, of Baldwin County, Ga., formerly of Paterson, died Thursday. She had been a driver for Town County Bus Co., Wayne. Arrangements: Bragg Funeral Home, Paterson.

ELLEN H. BLOCK, 107, of Wyckoff, formerly of Clifton, died Sunday. She was born in Sweden and came to the United States in 1917. She was a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church and a former member of Trinity Lutheran Church, both in Clifton. Arrangements: Allwood Funeral Home, Clifton.

VICTORIA BORSETT, 82, of Hasbrouck Heights died Friday. Before retiring in 1998, she was an advertising administrator for J. Walter Thompson, New York City, where she worked for 37 years. She was a member of the Republican Club, the Woman's Club, the Seniors, and the American Legion Auxiliary, all in Hasbrouck Heights. She had been a Bergen County Republican committeewoman. Arrangements: Hennessey-Powell Funeral Home, Hasbrouck Heights.

JOSEPH J. BURDENSKI, 90, of Hasbrouck Heights died Saturday. Before retiring in 1990, he was a vegetable packer for the ShopRite supermarket in Rochelle Park, where he worked for 20 years. Previously, he was a lineman for Public Service Electric and Gas Co. in Hackensack, where he worked for 25 years. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4591, Hasbrouck Heights. Arrangements: Hennessey-Powell Funeral Home, Hasbrouck Heights.

RICHARD CERVIELLO, 73, of Paterson died Saturday. Before retiring in 1989, he was a supervisor for Hoffman New Yorker-New York Pressing, Paterson. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a parishioner of Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church, Paterson. Arrangements: Scillieri Funeral Home, Paterson.

RUTH O. COWELL, 88, of Lenox, Mass., formerly of Westwood, died Friday. Before retiring in 1981, she was executive director of the North Essex Child Guidance Clinic, Bloomfield, where she worked for 23 years. Arrangements: Roche Funeral Home, Lenox.

ANTHONY J. "THE CHIEF" DUBITS, 84, of Mesa, Ariz., formerly of Paterson, died Saturday. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a Pearl Harbor survivor. Arrangements: Melcher Mission Chapel, Mesa.

MILDRED CHESTER EHRENZELLER, 78, of Vero Beach, Fla., formerly of Jersey City, died Friday. She had been a cashier for the Wal-Mart department store in Vero Beach. Arrangements: Leber Funeral Home, Union City.

NANCY R. SUGARMAN GELMAN, 54, of Wayne died Sunday. She had been a speech pathologist. She was a graduate of McGill University and received a master's degree from Northwestern University. Arrangements: Robert Schoem's Menorah Chapel, Paramus.

MURRAY GERTMAN of Fair Lawn, formerly of Paterson, died Sunday. Before retiring, he worked in the warehouse department of Sealed Air Corp., Totowa, where he was employed for 22 years. Arrangements: Louis Suburban Chapel, Fair Lawn.

THOMAS P. KEENAN, 53, of Fair Lawn died Saturday. He was born in Scotland. He was director of air operations for CIE Tours, Cedar Knolls. Previously, he worked in the group department for Aer Lingus Airways, New York City, where he was employed for 25 years. He was a parishioner of St. Anne R.C. Church, Fair Lawn, where he was a Eucharistic minister and member of the Pre-Cana Team. Arrangements: Vander Plaat Colonial Home, Fair Lawn.

ELIZABETH A. SZERENCSES KISH, 82, of Clifton died Thursday. Before retiring in 1981, she worked for Popular Merchandise Co., Passaic, and was previously a forewoman for Forstmann Woolen Mills. She was a parishioner of St. Stephen R.C. Church, Passaic, and a member of AARP. Arrangements: Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, Lexington Avenue, Clifton.

WALTER KONEFAL, 79, of Stillwater, formerly of Wallington, died Saturday. Before retiring in 1992, he was an inspector for Howmedica Co., East Rutherford, where he worked for 10 years. He was an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II and a member of American Legion Post 359, Passaic. He was a parishioner of Most Sacred Heart of Jesus R.C. Church, Wallington, where he served as an usher and was a member of Knights of Columbus Council 3644. He was a member of the Senior Citizens Club and the Geezers Club, both in Wallington, a life member of the Deborah Heart and Lung Foundation, and a member of AARP. Arrangements: Wozniak Home for Funerals, Wallington.

JOHN KOWALSKI, 69, of Mahwah died Saturday. Before retiring, he worked for Avon Products Corp., Suffern, N.Y. He was a member of Elks Lodge 1941, Mahwah. Arrangements: Scarr Funeral Home, Suffern.

LAURETTE NARDUCCI, 81, of North Bergen died Thursday. Before retiring, she worked in the distribution center for Sears, Roebuck and Co. in Secaucus. Arrangements: Leber Funeral Home, Union City.

CLAIRE L. RUZZO PEREK, 54, of Brick, formerly of Lyndhurst and Kearny, died Sunday. She was a parishioner of the R.C. Church of the Epiphany, Brick. Arrangements: Colonial Funeral Home, Brick.

NORAH A. CONWAY QUINTAVELLA, 78, of Clifton died Saturday. She was born in Ireland and came to the United States in 1937. She had been a switchboard operator for the Clifton Board of Education. Previously, she worked for St. Anthony's Guild and was a switchboard operator for St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center, both in Paterson. She was a parishioner of St. Andrew R.C. Church, Clifton, and a member of the Clifton Secretaries' Association. Arrangements: Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, Van Houten Avenue, Clifton.

THOMAS J. "TIM" REILLY, 91, of Nanuet, N.Y., formerly of Suffern, N.Y. and Ridgewood, died Friday. He had been a self-employed manufacturer's representative. He was a graduate of Columbia University and its Graduate School of Engineering, and was active with its Alumni Association and alumni magazine. Arrangements: McMahon, Lyon, and Hartnett Funeral Home, White Plains, N.Y.

DAISY M. MARTINEZ SANFILIPPO, 48, of Little Ferry, formerly of Lodi, died Sunday. She was born in Cuba and came to the United States in 1970. She had been an accounting clerk for Summit Bank in Ridgefield Park, where she worked for 16 years. Arrangements: Costa Memorial Home, Hasbrouck Heights.

ANTHONY J. SCHEPISI of Fort Lee died Sunday. Before retiring in 1992, he owned A. Schepisi Roofing for 52 years. Arrangements: McCorry Bros. Funeral Home, Cliffside Park.

BETTY BELL SCOTT, 83, of Clifton died Saturday. Before retiring in 1996, she was a teacher at Martin Luther King School 6, Passaic, where she taught for 25 years. She was a member of the New Jersey Retired Teachers Association. She was a graduate of Paterson State College, Wayne. She was a parishioner of St. Andrew R.C. Church, Clifton, where she was a founding mother of its Brownie and Girl Scout troops and a member of its 39er's Club. She was past president of the Girl Scout Council and a 50-year member of the Allwood Women's Club, both in Clifton, and a member of AARP. Arrangements: Allwood Funeral Home, Clifton.

FLORENCE KRAVETZ SLAVICHAK, 75, of Clifton died Saturday. Before retiring, she was a nurse's aide for Bergen Regional Medical Center, Paramus, where she worked for 26 years. Arrangements: Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, Lexington Avenue, Clifton.

ROBERT K. SMITH, 81, of Pequannock, formerly of Wayne, died Sunday. Before retiring in 1989, he owned Pioneer TV, Paterson and Clifton, for 40 years. He was an Army Air Force veteran of World War II. He was a member of Masonic Lodge 203, Clifton, and Volunteer Fire Company 4, Wayne, for 35 years. Arrangements: Moore's Home for Funerals, Wayne.

JACK VENZA, 75, of Riverdale died Saturday. Before retiring in 1986, he was an assembler and tester for Bendix Corp., Teterboro. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of American Legion Post 104, Riverdale. He was a former Cub Scout den leader, an honorary life member of Knights of Columbus Council 5943, and a member of the Riverdale Police Pistol Team. Arrangements: M. John Scanlan Funeral Home, Pompton Plains.

JOSEPH N. ZITZ, 77, of River Vale died Saturday. Before retiring in 1986, he was a recording engineer for National Musitime, New York City. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mercy R.C. Church, Park Ridge. He was a member of the Republican Club, River Vale. Arrangements: Becker Funeral Home, Westwood.
