ELLEN H. BLOCK, 107, of Wyckoff, formerly of Clifton, died Sunday. She was born in Sweden and came to the United States in 1917. She was a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church and a former member of Trinity Lutheran Church, both in Clifton. Arrangements: Allwood Funeral Home, Clifton.
VICTORIA BORSETT, 82, of Hasbrouck Heights died Friday. Before retiring in 1998, she was an advertising administrator for J. Walter Thompson, New York City, where she worked for 37 years. She was a member of the Republican Club, the Woman's Club, the Seniors, and the American Legion Auxiliary, all in Hasbrouck Heights. She had been a Bergen County Republican committeewoman. JOSEPH J. BURDENSKI, 90, of Hasbrouck Heights died Saturday. Before retiring in 1990, he was a vegetable packer for the ShopRite supermarket in Rochelle Park, where he worked for 20 years. Previously, he was a lineman for Public Service Electric and Gas Co. in Hackensack, where he worked for 25 years. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4591, Hasbrouck Heights. WALTER KONEFAL, 79, of Stillwater, formerly of Wallington, died Saturday. Before retiring in 1992, he was an inspector for Howmedica Co., East Rutherford, where he worked for 10 years. He was an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II and a member of American Legion Post 359, Passaic. He was a parishioner of Most Sacred Heart of Jesus R.C. Church, Wallington, where he served as an usher and was a member of Knights of Columbus Council 3644. He was a member of the Senior Citizens Club and the Geezers Club, both in Wallington, a life member of the Deborah Heart and Lung Foundation, and a member of AARP. Church, Clifton, where she was a founding mother of its Brownie and Girl Scout troops and a member of its 39er's Club.
