Schweinsberg, Ruth E. (Keck)
Ruth Schweinsberg, 77, of New Sewickley Township, died Wednesday, July 4, 2001, in The Medical Center, Beaver.
Born Feb. 1, 1924, in Rochester, a daughter of the late Charles C. and Mildred Wahl Keck, she was a member of the Crimson Line Auxiliary of the Beaver Valley Geriatric Center, Big Knob Grange, Beaver County Pomona Grange, and was a seventh degree member of the National Grange. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Zelienople, where she was a treasurer of the Women's Evangelical Lutheran Church of America of St. Paul's.
Surviving are her loving husband of 55 years, Lester C. Schweinsberg; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Judy and Gale Majors, Rochester; Joyce and Richard Zeigler, Manheim, Pa.; Janice and Keith DuBois, Lebanon, Pa., and Joanne R. Gebhardt, Greensburg; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, and a brother and sister-in-law, the Rev. George and Betty Keck, Collegeville, Pa. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Howard "Bud" Keck, in November 2000.
Friends will be received today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. in the GABAUER FUNERAL HOME INC. at SYLVANIA HILLS MEMORIAL PARK INC., Daugherty Township, where a service will be conducted Saturday, July 7, at 11 a.m. in St. Paul Lutheran Church, Zelienople, with her pastor, the Rev. William Brewer, officiating. Private entombment will follow in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum. MARTIN KECK
The death of Martin Keck, Frankfort's oldest resident occurred yesterday at 2 o'clock in the afternoon at the home of his son, Andrew Keck. If Mr. Keck had lived to 20 Aug., he would have been 95 years old. The immediate cause of death was blood poisoning, resulting in poor circulation in his lower limbs, and which he was unable to recover from on account of his advanced age. Although he had complained for a number of weeks, Mr. Keck had, up to a few days ago, been unable to work in the garden and do other work about the house. He was born in Johnstown, N.Y., and was a farmer by occupation. Nearly 75 years ago he married Miss Maria Burns who died 23 years ago. Mr. Keck came to Frankfort 24 years ago and for the past 18 years had lived with his son, Andrew. He was a thorough Christian gentleman and enjoyed the respect of all who knew him. For many years he had been a member of the Methodist Episcopal church of this place and until he became so deaf that he was unable to hear, attended services regularly. He was also a lifetime Republican. Mr. Keck leaves a sister, Margaret Keck (Margaret Keck Martin), a brother, Joseph both of Johnstown; a daughter, Mrs. Libbie Williams of Little Falls; 3 sons, Peter of Gloversville, Jacob of Johnstown and Andrew of this place, Frankfort.
Hollis M. Keck, 74
MILLSBORO - Hollis M. Keck of Millsboro died of cancer Friday, May 18, 2001, in his home. He was 74.
Mr. Keck was born Nov. 19, 1926, in Wilkes-Barre, Pa.
After high school graduation in 1944, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and proudly served his country during World War II.
He brought joy to everyone he met, and blessed many people with his witty sense of humor and his ability to fix anything his hands touched.
Mr. Keck was an active member of Gumboro Fellowship Church.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Velma G. Keck; two daughters, Nancy Marcus and her husband, both of Baltimore, and Carol Keck of Mount Pleasant, S.C.; two sons, David Keck, and his wife and family of Augusta, Ga., and Bruce Keck of Charleston, S.C.; two stepsons, Gary Kinstler, and his wife, both of Pasadena, Md., and John Kinstler of Gettysburg, Pa.; a stepdaughter, Joan Puckett, and her husband and family of Westminster, Md.; five grandchildren; and a sister, Edith Fulmer of Spring City, Pa.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Gumboro Fellowship Church.
Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Gumboro Fellowship Church Building Fund, Route 3, Box 217-G, Millsboro, DE 19966.

SAN BERNARDINO ---- Daniel Donald Keck, 77, died Sunday, May 7, 2000, at his home.
Born June 10, 1922, in Cleveland, he lived in San Bernardino for 20 years. He graduated from high school in Cleveland and attended college in California. He was a self-employed insurance broker in Riverside County and Santa Barbara County for 25 years, retiring in 1992. He served in the U.S. Army Air Force, receiving an American Theatre Ribbons and the American Defense Service Medal. He was a former member of the Moose Club.
Mr. Keck is survived by his wife, Donna Keck of San Bernardino; son Daniel J. Keck of Temecula; daughters Laura L. Hawkins of Anaheim, Lynne Alkemade of San Jose and Lisa Hawkins-Garcia of Altus, Okla.; brother James Keck of Ardsley N.Y.; and six grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. today at Grove Colonial in San Bernardino.

NORMAN HENRY KECK
Mr. Norman Henry Keck, 83, of Hobbs Rd., died Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2000, at Wesley Long Hospital.
Mr. Keck's funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 21, 2000, in the chapel of First Presbyterian Church.
Norman Henry Keck was born on March 31, 1916, in Jersey City, N.J., to the late Charles W. and Ida J. Keck. Mr. Keck was a member and former elder of the First Presbyterian Church, member of Greensboro Businessmen's Club, Starmount Country Club and retired from Western Electric after 38 years of service.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Emily Robertson Keck of the home; son, Robert C. Keck and wife, Terri of Mount Airy; four grandchildren, Robert Charles Keck, II, David R. Keck, Ginger Flynn and husband, Michael, all of Gastonia and Steven Harrelson of Mount Airy.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. tonight, Jan. 20, 2000, at Forbis and Dick N. Elm St.

Nancy M. Keck, 67, of Akron, died Monday, Jan. 24, 2000.
Mrs. Keck was born in West Middlesex, Pa., on Feb. 14, 1932, and had been a North Hill resident since 1956.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard E., in 1991, and is survived by her sons, Richard F. (Cheryl) Keck of Dublin, Ohio, and Stephen M. Keck of Akron; sister, Kathleen Taylor of Andover, Ohio; brother, Richard Mitcheltree of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; eight nieces and nephews.

Etta L. Keck, 77, of 53 E. 11th St.,Fulton,died Tuesday at A.L. Lee Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Volney. She retired in 1978 after 17 years at Nestle Co., Fulton. She previously worked for Hunter Arms, Fulton. She was a former president of the American Legion Auxiliary, Homer Russell Smith Post, Fulton.
Her husband, Raymond F., died in 1998, and a son, Ransford R., died in 1990.

CHILLICOTHE - Dorothy Keck, 92, of 12126 Riverview Drive died at 9 p.m. Saturday, March 18, 2000, at Lutheran Home in Peoria.
Born July 2, 1907, in Springfield to John and Lena Eikes Maybury, she married Floyd Keck on Dec. 18, 1931, in Springfield. He died in 1970.
Also preceding her in death were two brothers and three sisters.
Surviving are one sister, Pauline Carter of Tallahassee, Fla.; and one niece, Rae Bobell of Chillicothe.
She retired from Caterpillar Inc. in Morton, where she worked as a secretary for 25 years.
She was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church and its Allelujah Circle.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Springfield. There will be no visitation. The Rev. Steven Mall will officiate. Weber Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Lillian A. Keck, 91, of Ocean Beach died Friday. She was born in Manhattan and was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Peter's by-the-Sea Lutheran Church.

John `Jack' Keck

Memorial service for John Dwight ``Jack'' Keck, 78, will be at 2 p.m. next Friday at the Spokane Valley Veterans of Foreign Wars Post. Hennessey-Valley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Keck, who was born in Spokane, died April 3.
He grew up in Spokane and attended West Valley High School. He served in the Army during World War II in Rome, the Arno, Southern France, the Rhineland and Central Europe during World War II.
Mr. Keck returned to the Spokane Valley after his military service and worked at Inland Empire Paper Mill until 1988, when he retired and moved to Twin Lakes.
Survivors include his wife, Dolores; three daughters, Jerilynn Keck of Cheyenne, Wyo., and Lauri and Trudi Keck, both of Los Angeles; and one grandson.

Regina R. "Jean" Keck, 87, a homemaker formerly of Brandon, Fla., died Sunday (April 23, 2000) in her daughter's home in Simpsonville, S.C.
Born Regina Roderique in Buffalo, she married Raymond T. in 1933. They moved to Brandon in 1981. He died in 1993.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Simpsonville. A memorial Mass will be offered July 1 in St. Aloysius Gonzaga Catholic Church, 157 Cleveland Drive, Cheektowaga, where Mrs. Keck was a longtime member.
Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Cheektowaga.

MICHAEL KECK
MICHAEL KECK, first alderman from the Twenty-fifty ward after the annexation of Lake View township to Chicago, died on Thursday at 1623 Sunnyside avenue. He was 71 years old. Mrs. Keck was born in Germany, coming to the United States in 1850. He came to Chicago in 1867. Before the annexation Mr. Keok, was a member of the board of education in the old Lake View township.

REV. KARL KECK
THE REV. KARL KECK, 2014 Hancock avenue, pastor of the Memorial German Methodist Episcopal church, Hancock and McLean avenues, died yesterday at the age of 65. He was born in Germany, but came to the United States when a young man. He has been a pastor in Chicago and vicinity for twenty-six years, the last six years pastor of the Memorial church. The Immanuel, Blue Island and Elgin German Methodist churches were others which he served. He is survived by his wife and four children, Mrs. Emma Klein, Mrs. Estella Buche, Carl F., and Sylvia E. Keck. The funeral services will be held in the church of which he was pastor, on Monday at 11 o'clock. Burial at Mount Greenwood.
