THOMAS S. BALIGA, 51, of Paramus, formerly of Little Ferry, died Saturday. He had been an assistant superintendent of the Department of Public Works in Little Ferry, where he worked for 17 years. He was a parishioner of Annunciation R.C. Church, Paramus. He was a member of Knights of Columbus Council 5680 and was vice president of the Republican Club, both in Paramus. He was a former member of the Paramus Planning Board. Arrangements: Vander Plaat Colonial Home, Fair Lawn.

JOHN W. "BILL" BUCZEK, 87, of East Rutherford, formerly of Clifton and Wallington, died Friday. Before retiring in 1987, he was a custodian and fireman for Passaic High School, where he worked for 15 years. Previously, he worked for Manhattan Rubber Co., Passaic. Arrangements: Kamienski Funeral Home, Wallington.

VICTOR E. BULL, 77, of Oak Ridge, formerly of Paterson, died Saturday. Before retiring, he was vice president and branch coordinator of Irving Savings and Loan, Paterson. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was a member of Milton United Methodist Church, Oak Ridge, and the Masonic lodge in Wyckoff, and was a former member of the Paterson Kiwanis Club. Arrangements: Moore's Home for Funerals, Wayne.

IRENE DORMAN GLASTEN, 90, of Nanuet, formerly of Fair Lawn, died Saturday. Arrangements: Louis Suburban Chapel, Fair Lawn.

ROBERT H. HILL, 79, of Clifton died Saturday. Before retiring, he was a plumber and a member of Plumbers Union Local 14, Lodi. He was a member of the New Jersey Cactus and Succulent Society. Arrangements: Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, Van Houten Avenue, Clifton.

ANNA YURINA HORKAVY, 95, of Clifton died Friday. She was a member of Assumption of the Holy Virgin Russian Orthodox Church, Clifton. Arrangements: Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, Van Houten Avenue, Clifton.

ANNA KALINOWSKI, 89, of Clifton died Sunday. Before retiring in 1975, she was a textile worker for Waldrich Bleachery, Clifton, where she was employed for 28 years. She was a parishioner of St. Clare R.C. Church, Clifton. Arrangements: Allwood Funeral Home, Clifton.

CONSTANCE M. KENNELTY, 69, of Ridgefield Park died Friday. Before retiring in 1999, she was a registered nurse at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center, Englewood, and St. Vincent's Hospital, New York City. Arrangements: Volk-Leber Funeral Home, Teaneck.

EVA McGRADY KIMBLE of Butler died Saturday. She was a former member of the Pompton Lakes Fire Department auxiliary. Arrangements: Richards Funeral Home, Riverdale.

RUDOLPH LaROCCA, 84, of Denville, formerly of Dumont, died Saturday. He had owned LaRocca Science Labs in Dumont and Sparta. He was a graduate of New York University. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Arrangements: Goble Funeral Home, Sparta.

GEORGE LONDON, 84, of Getzville, N.Y., formerly of Fair Lawn, died Sunday. Before retiring, he was an engineer for L.K.U. Group, Elmwood Park. Arrangements: Robert Schoem's Menorah Chapel, Paramus.

MARY A. McNALLY, 91, of Park Ridge, formerly of Montvale, died Sunday. She had been a bookkeeper for Montvale Auto Sales. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mercy R.C. Church, Park Ridge. Arrangements: Becker Funeral Home, Westwood.

HELEN KEOLEIAN MEGERDICHIAN, 91, of Hackensack, formerly of Union City, died Sunday. She was born in Turkey. Before retiring, she was a seamstress. She was a member of Holy Cross Armenian Apostolic Church, Union City, and its Ladies Educational and Aid societies. She also was a member of the Daughters of Vartan and the Armenian General Athletic Union Alumni Association. Arrangements: Volk-Leber Funeral Home, Teaneck.

JAMES R. MERTIS, 47, of Paterson died Sunday. He had owned Mertis Florist, Prospect Park, formerly in Paterson. Arrangements: M. John Scanlan Funeral Home, Pompton Plains.

RAYMOND MEYER, 77, of Rutherford and Vero Beach, Fla., formerly of Secaucus, died Saturday. Before retiring, he owned Royal Trucking, Lyndhurst. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a former member of the Knights of Columbus and the Old Guard, both in Rutherford. Arrangements: Collins-Calhoun Funeral Home, Rutherford.

MARY R. STARY NEDELKA, 94, of Little Ferry died Saturday. She was active in the Little Ferry Senior Citizens. Arrangements: Trinka-Faustini Funeral Home, Little Ferry.

HELEN M. DUNAY PHILLIPS, 84, of Teaneck, formerly of Wayne, died Saturday. She was a former parishioner of Our Lady of Consolation R.C. Church, Wayne. Arrangements: Moore's Home for Funerals, Wayne.

JOSEPHINE L. ROKOSZ POLKOSNIK, 83, of Woodcliff Lake died Saturday. Arrangements: Leber Funeral Home, Union City.

WILLIAM L. PRYON, 77, of Passaic died Thursday. Before retiring in 1986, he was a warehouseman for Howmedica, Rutherford, where he worked for 20 years. He also had worked for Uniroyal Chemical Co., Passaic, for 10 years. Arrangements: The Madonna Multinational Home for Funerals, Passaic.

STELLA E. PIEKARSKI PRZYBYLA, 74, of Elmwood Park died Saturday. She had been a registered nurse at New Jersey Associates in Medicine PA, Fair Lawn, where she worked for 44 years. She was a member of the Elmwood Park Volunteer Fire Company 4 auxiliary. Arrangements: Patrick J. Conte Funeral Home, Elmwood Park.

PHILIP SCHADT JR., 85, of Clifton died Sunday. Before retiring, he was a tool-and-die maker for Synthetic Plastics Co., Newark, where he worked for 45 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Arrangements: Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, Van Houten Avenue, Clifton.

MOIRA J. SCHERR, 42, of Lacey Township, formerly of Maywood, died Saturday. She had been a substitute registered nurse for the Lacey Township school system and a member of the American Nursing Association and the Phi Theta Kappa Society. Arrangements: Layton's Home for Funerals, Forked River.

FRANCIS J. SCHMIDT, 88, of Clifton died Saturday. Before retiring in 1972, he owned Smitty's Gas Station, Clifton. More recently, he was a courier for Inmont, Clifton. He was an Army veteran of World War II, had been a prisoner of war, and was a recipient of the Purple Heart. He also was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Prisoners of War Post 3, and Disabled American Veterans Chapter 2, all in Clifton. He was a parishioner of St. Andrew the Apostle R.C. Church, Clifton. Arrangements: Shook Funeral Home, Clifton.

GRACE LoPINTO STELLITA, 84, of Garfield, formerly of Wallington, died Thursday. Before retiring, she was a seamstress. Arrangements: Vander Plaat Memorial Home, Paramus.

MARY ZANET TULLY, 99, of Clifton died Friday. Before retiring in 1970, she worked for Samuel Hird Co., Garfield, for 30 years. She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart R.C. Church and a member of its Rosary Society and United Handicap at St. Brendan R.C. Church, all in Clifton. Arrangements: Intelisano-Scarpa Funeral Home, Clifton.

CAROL J. SMITH TUMMINO, 72, of Totowa died Saturday. Arrangements: Festa Memorial Funeral Home, Totowa.

GERTRUDE FRENCH WIGGERS, 94, of Rutherford died Sunday. She had been a bookkeeper and secretary for Arthur J. Wiggers Insurance Co., Rutherford. She was a member of Rutherford Congregational Church. Arrangements: Collins-Calhoun Funeral Home, Rutherford.
