WILLIAM BARTON SR., 74, of the Holiday City West section of Berkeley Township, formerly of Cliffside Park, died Friday. Before retiring in 1998, he was a safety coordinator and service manager for Blickman Equipment Corp., Union City, where he worked for 55 years. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. MAYME TITUS BLUNDELL, 92, of Jefferson Township died Friday. Before retiring, she was an accountant for Pfizer Drug Co. in Clifton. She was a member of the Methodist Church and the Senior Citizens, both in the Milton section of Jefferson Township. She also was a Girl Scout leader in Milton and Paterson. Church, Hasbrouck Heights, where he served as a Eucharistic minister and was a former member of the executive board and a parliamentarian of its Home School program. He was an Army veteran of World War II and was a life member, past commander, and 45-year quartermaster of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2640, Wallington, and post secretary of the Overseas Veterans Association. He had been a councilman, fire commissioner, police commissioner, and served on the Recreation Commission, all in Wallington. He also was a member of Truck Company 1 of the Wallington Volunteer Fire Department and the Exempt Firemen's Association. He was a member of St. Michael Byzantine Cathedral, Passaic.
