ESTHER GIACOMINI BERTONI, 90, of Clifton died Saturday. She had been a teacher in the Clifton school system and also taught English to immigrants. She was a graduate of Montclair State College. She was a member of the National and New Jersey Education associations. She had served on the board of directors of the Clifton Library and the Committee for a Hospital for Clifton, and was a charter member of the Women's Council of the Clifton Boys and Girls Club and of the Cordial Women's Club, Clifton. She was a member of the St. Brendan's Parents Association; North Jersey Country Club, Wayne; the Lombardi Club, Clifton; and the Lacordaire Academy Parents Association, Montclair. She also was a participant in the New York Military Academy Parents Guild and had been a volunteer at The General Hospital at Passaic. She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart R.C. Church, Clifton.
