EDNA M. HILLIS ACKERMAN, 100, of Wayne, formerly of Paterson, died Saturday. She was a member and served on the council of the Canfield Senior Citizens, Paterson. Arrangements: Moore's Home for Funerals, Wayne.

EDGAR F. ASKEW JR. of Hackensack died May 13. Before retiring, he was a teacher at the Hackensack Middle School. He was a member of Christ Episcopal Church, Hackensack. Arrangements: Vander Plaat Memorial Home, Paramus.

ANTHONY J. CAMMARATA, 78, of East Rutherford died Wednesday. He had been a personnel manager for Becton, Dickinson and Co., East Rutherford, where he was a member and past president of its Alumni Association. He was an Army Air Force veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Sewerage Authority, a former councilman, and honorary fire commissioner, all in East Rutherford. Arrangements: Macagna-Diffily Funeral Home, Rutherford.

ROY N. COLIN of Belmar, formerly of Ridgefield Park, died Thursday. Before retiring in 1997, he was a data-processing executive for 35 years. He was a graduate of Rutgers University. Arrangements: Ely Funeral Home, Neptune.

MYRTLE TRUCKSESS CROSETTI, 93, of Charlotte, N.C., formerly of Ridgefield Park, died Thursday. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Ridgefield Park. Arrangements: Vorhees Funeral Home, Ridgefield Park.

MARY SORCE DARATA, 83, of Lodi died Friday. She had owned The Judy Shoppe, Lodi, for 54 years. She was a member of the Lodi Senior Citizens Club and AARP. Arrangements: Alesso Funeral Home Lodi

PATRICIA DONOVAN, 82, of Hillsdale died Friday. She had been a legal secretary for Donovan, Leisure, Newton, Irvine, New York City. She was a parishioner of St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, Hillsdale. She was a volunteer at Pascack Valley Hospital, Westwood, and The Valley Hospital, Ridgewood. Arrangements: Becker Funeral Home, Westwood.

WALTER E. DRURY SR., 85, of Pompton Plains died Saturday. Before retiring in 1975, he was an industrial spe#####t for the Office of Defense, Little Falls, where he worked for 34 years. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Good Counsel R.C. Church, Pompton Plains, and a life member of the Knights of Columbus in Pequannock. He was past president of the Pequannock Little League. Arrangements: M. John Scanlan Funeral Home, Pompton Plains.

CARMELA "CONNIE" F. FALCONE, 76, of Hackensack died Saturday. She had worked in the food services division of Aramark, East Rutherford, for 13 years. She was a parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church, Hackensack. Arrangements: G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, Hackensack.

ADRIANA J. MAK GARRABRANT, 85, of Montgomery, N.Y, formerly of Wyckoff, died Saturday. Arrangements: Grid|ley-Horan Funeral Home, Walden, N.Y.

ESTELLE PAPCIAK GOTZ of Clifton died Friday. She was a parishioner of St. Andrew the Apostle R.C. Church, Clifton, and a member of its 39ers Club. Arrangements: Shook Funeral Home, Clifton.

ROBERT GRUBE, 83, of Mount Olive, formerly of Wayne, died Wednesday. Before retiring this year, he was an accountant for P.D.G., Hackettstown. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Arrangements: Morgan Funeral Home, Netcong.

DENISE M. BELL HAWKINS, 36, of Brick, formerly of Tenafly, died Thursday. She had been a pharmacy clerk for Grand Union in Brick. Arrangements: Weatherhead Young Funeral Home, Brick.

LOUISE REIDEBAUGH HAYES, 93, of Edgewater died Friday. She had been a children's clothing department supervisor for Best and Company, New York City. She was a member of AARP. Arrangements: Hunt Stellato Funeral Home, Fort Lee.

MORTON KOLBER, 86, of North Wales, Pa., formerly of Paramus, died Friday. Before retiring, he was a general manager of Consolidated Laundry Corp., New York City, where he worked for 46 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II and past commander of Jewish War Veterans Post 669. He was a founding member of Congregation Beth Tefillah, Paramus; a volunteer chaplain at the Rockleigh Intermediate Care Facility, and a founding member of the Jewish Community Center of Paramus. He served on the Veterans Advisory Committee of Bergen County. Arrangements: Robert Schoem's Menorah Chapel, Paramus.

HELEN ZIEMBA KOSHKO, 87, of Wallington died Thursday. She was a parishioner of Most Sacred Heart of Jesus R.C. Church, Wallington, and a member of its Rosary Confraternity. She was a member of the Wallington Senior Citizens and AARP. Arrangements: Kamienski Funeral Home, Wallington.

LILLIAN C. KRACK, 74, of Garfield died Thursday. Before retiring, she was secretary for Popular Club Plan, Garfield, Dumont Co., Clifton, and the Slovak Catholic Sokol, Passaic. She was a parishioner of Saints Cyril and Methodius R.C. Church, Clifton, and a member and secretary of its Marian Rosary Society and Seniors. She also was a member and secretary of Slovak Catholic Sokol Assembly 162, Clifton. She was a charter life member and past president of AMVETS Post 13 auxiliary and was on the board of trustees of the Public Library, both in Garfield. She served for 43 years on the Garfield Board of Elections and was a member of AARP. Arrangements: Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, Lexington Avenue, Clifton.

JOHN F. LEAHY JR., 58, of Fairview, formerly of Ridgefield, died Friday. He had been a shipping clerk for Royson Corp., Rockaway. He was a parishioner of St. Matthew R.C. Church, Ridgefield. He was a member of the Volunteer Ambulance Corps and American Legion Post 221, both in Ridgefield. Arrangements: Blackley Funeral Home, Ridgefield.

ANTHONY LEWIS, 42, of Paterson died Wednesday. Arrangements: Bragg Funeral Home, Paterson.

IDA B. KAHLERT MAIRE, 84, of Maywood, formerly of East Rutherford, died Saturday. Arrangements: Vander Plaat Colonial Home, Fair Lawn.

MICHAEL MANCHUR, 86, of Passaic died Friday. Before retiring in 1979, he was a truck driver for New England Motor Freight in Fair Lawn, where he worked for 35 years and was a member of Teamsters Local 517. He was an Army Air Force veteran of World War II. He was a member of St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, Passaic. Arrangements: J.C. Fila Lexington Memorial Home, Clifton.

IPPOLISTO PISACRETA, 70, of Wayne died Thursday. He was born in Italy and came to the United States in 1960. Before retiring in 1996, he was a printer for Perennial Printing Co., Paterson, where he worked for 13 years. He was a veteran of the Italian army. He was a parishioner of St. Gerard R.C. Church, Paterson. He was a member of the Roma Sport Club, Paterson. Arrangements: Festa Memorial Funeral Home, Totowa.

JOSEPH PREVETE, 76, of Wood-Ridge, formerly of Union City, died Saturday. Before retiring in 1990, he was a presser for Meret Garment Co., Garfield, and was a member of the International Ladies' Garment Workers Union. He was a parishioner of Assumption R.C. Church, Wood-Ridge. Arrangements: Kohler Funeral Home, Wood-Ridge.

DOMINIC D. RAIMONDO, 65, of Little Ferry died Thursday. Before retiring 10 years ago, he was a officer for the Little Ferry Police Department. He was a member of Policemen's Benevolent Association Local 102, the New Jersey Retired Police and Firemen's Association, the Honor Legion Police of New Jersey, the Water Gap Country Club, and the Ridgefield Park Elks. Arrangements: Trinka-Faustini Funeral Home, Little Ferry.

CHARLES RITCHIE, 81, of Whiting, formerly of Haledon, died Friday. Before retiring in 1986, he was a shipping and receiving clerk for East Products, Clifton, where he worked for 35 years. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. Arrangements: DeLuccia-Lozito Funeral Home, Haledon.

EDNA E. TRUNZ SCHONLAND, 69, of Ridgefield, formerly of West New York, died Saturday. Before retiring four years ago, she worked at the Bergen County Courthouse, Hackensack, for 11 years. She was a member of Advent Lutheran Church, Fort Lee, where she served as treasurer. Arrangements: Blackley Funeral Home, Ridgefield.

FRANK J. SYNOVITZ, 69, of Wallington died Thursday. Before retiring in 1999, he was a porter for Berlex Labs, Wayne, where he worked for 23 years. Previously, he worked for General Electric Corp. in Clifton for 20 years. He was a member of Holy Name Slovak National Catholic Cathedral, Passaic. Arrangements: Shook Funeral Home, Clifton.

CAROLYN HANNAGAN TAYLOR, 87, of Wyckoff and Toms River, died Friday. Arrangements: Vander Plaat Funeral Home, Wyckoff.

PETER J. VAN DER HEY, 84, of Ramsey, formerly of Clifton, died Friday. Before retiring in 1985, he was an industrial machinist for Howe Richardson Scale Co., Clifton, where he worked for 43 years. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church, Ramsey, and a former member of Grace Church, Clifton, where he had served as deacon and was a member of the choir. Arrangements: Vander Plaat Funeral Home, Wyckoff.

VIOLA L. VIOLA, 89, of Bogota died Saturday. Before retiring in 1981, she was the Bogota deputy tax collector for 11 years. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph R.C. Church, Bogota. She was former treasurer of the Woman's Club and former member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars auxiliary, both in Bogota. Arrangements: Petrik Funeral Home, Bogota.

MARYANN WALINGER WASILICK, 83, of Wayne died Thursday. Before retiring in 1978, she was a bookkeeper for A&P in Kearny, where she worked for 33 years. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Czestochowa R.C. Church, Harrison. Arrangements: Vander May Wayne Colonial Funeral Home, Wayne.
