MILDRED M. ALLAN, 89, of Clifton died Sunday. Before retiring in 1973, she worked in the transit department of New Jersey Bank in Passaic for 25 years. She was a parishioner of St. Andrew R.C. Church, Clifton. She was a member of the Allwood Woman's Club and the 50-Plus Club, both in Clifton, and AARP. Arrangements: Allwood Funeral Home, Clifton.

EVA L. ESPINOSA ALLI, 66, of Paterson died Sunday. She had been a secretary for GPU International, Elmwood Park. Previously, she was an executive secretary for Singer-Kearfott Corp., Little Falls, and had worked for New Jersey Bell Telephone, Paterson, Curtiss-Wright Corp., Wood-Ridge, and the Paterson Finance Department and City Council. She was a parishioner of St. Brendan R.C. Church, Clifton, and den mother for the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts. Arrangements: Festa Memorial Funeral Home, Totowa.

GLORIA REDLING BAUMANN, 78, of Pompton Lakes, formerly of Paterson, died Monday. Before retiring, she owned Frank's Tavern, Paterson. Arrangements: Festa Memorial Funeral Home, Totowa.

HELEN WEISS BOROS, 81, of Wanaque, formerly of Elmwood Park, died Friday. She was a parishioner of St. Stanislaus Kostka R.C. Church, Garfield. Arrangements: Wozniak Home for Funerals, Wallington.

FRANK BUCKLEY, 88, of West Milford died Wednesday. Before retiring, he was a construction worker for North Jersey Concrete Pipe, Pompton Lakes. Arrangements: Richards Funeral Home, West Milford.

BEATRICE M. BUGASH, 77, of Brodheadsville, Pa., formerly of Haworth, died Sunday. Before retiring in 1985, she co-owned The Ice Cream Store, Tenafly, for 27 years. Arrangements: William H. Kresge Funeral Home, Brodheadsville.

ANNA SEKELA CZARECKI, 89, of Clifton died Friday. Before retiring in 1980, she was a private duty licensed practical nurse. She was a member of Saints Peter and Paul Russian Orthodox Cathedral, Passaic. She also was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars auxiliary in Passaic. Arrangements: Shook Funeral Home, Clifton.

MILDRED ROTONDI BELLASSAI Del GUIDICE, 86, of Washington Township, formerly of Bogota and South Hackensack, died Sunday. She had been a nurse's assistant at Holy Cross Hospital, Fort Lauderdale, Fla., where she worked for 15 years. She was a parishioner of Holy Trinity R.C. Church, Hackensack. She was a 50-year member of the Bogota Volunteer Fire Department auxiliary. Arrangements: G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, Hackensack.

DOROTHEA FRASCO, 81, of Emerson died Monday. She was a member of the Assumption Educational System. Arrangements: Becker Funeral Home, Westwood.

HELEN YUHAS GAJARSKY, 86, of Pompton Plains, formerly of Wyckoff, died Saturday. Before retiring in 1980, she was a bookkeeper for Charles Giambiao, a certified public accountant in Wyckoff. She was a parishioner of St. Elizabeth R.C. Church and a member of the Senior Citizens Group, both in Wyckoff. Arrangements: Vander Plaat Funeral Home, Wyckoff.

MATTHIAS J. HAGOVSKY JR., 81, of Hillsdale, formerly of Carlstadt, died Sunday. Before retiring in 1981, he was a forklift operator for UOP Chemical, Carlstadt, where he worked for 37 years. He also was a crossing guard for St. Joseph R.C. Church, East Rutherford. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of Catholic War Veterans Post 663, East Rutherford. He was a member of Carlstadt Volunteer Fire Department Company 2, the Exempt Firemen's Association, and the Carlstadt Marshal's Association. Arrangements: Kimak Funeral Home, Carlstadt.

MARGARET M. "PEG" ROCHE HIGGINS, 85, of Princeton Junction, formerly of Bergenfield, died Sunday. Before retiring in 1978, she was secretary to the principal of Bergenfield High School. She was a parishioner of St. John R.C. Church, Bergenfield, and was a member of the Irish-American Social Club of Bergen County. Arrangements: Riewerts Memorial Home, Bergenfield.

ROBERT C. JOHNSON, 76, of Westwood died Sunday. Before retiring in 1990, he was a switchman for New Jersey Bell Telephone in Oradell. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Maywood. He was a former committeeman for Boy Scout Troop 114, Rochelle Park. Arrangements: Vander Plaat Memorial Home, Paramus.

RICHARD JONKMAN, 91, of Midland Park died Sunday. Before retiring in 1973, he was a quality-control inspector for Leslie Co., Parsippany, where he worked for 30 years. He was a member of Cedar Hill Christian Reformed Church, Wyckoff. Arrangements: Vander Plaat Funeral Home, Wyckoff.

JOHN P. KERR, 73, of Wayne died Friday. He had been president of Cable TV Advertising Associates Inc., Totowa, for 25 years. He was a graduate of City College of New York and New York University. He was a parishioner of St. Mary R.C. Church, Pompton Lakes. Arrangements: Vander May Wayne Colonial Funeral Home, Wayne.

ELIZABETH A. KRENITSKI, 77, of Clifton died Sunday. Before retiring in 1987, she was an administrative assistant for Yellow Freight Systems, Carlstadt, where she worked for 21 years. She was a parishioner of St. Andrew R.C. Church, Clifton, and a member of its 39ers. She also was a member of the Clifton Choral Society. Arrangements: Allwood Funeral Home, Clifton.

IRENE LISOWSKI, 87, of Paterson, formerly of Clifton, died Saturday. She was a parishioner of St. Brendan R.C. Church, Clifton, and was a member and tour director for AARP. Arrangements: Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, Van Houten Avenue, Clifton.

JOAN VAN HEUSDEN MATESICH, 70, of Hawthorne died Monday. Before retiring, she worked for Sher Distributors, Totowa, where she was employed for 10 years. She was a member of the Hawthorne Golden Circle. Arrangements: Browning-Forshay Funeral Home, Hawthorne.

HAROLD MISHKIN, 79, of Paramus died Sunday. Before retiring, he worked for Publix Shirt Co., New York City. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Arrangements: Robert Schoem's Menorah Chapel, Paramus.

JAMES E. MALIK NORTHERN, 33, of Paterson died Thursday. He had been an ambulance driver for Adamo Ambulance Service, Paterson. He also was a student counselor for the Paterson Board of Education and worked for the Paterson Task Force DARE program. He played amateur football for the North Jersey Panthers, the Raiders, and the Terror Squad, and was also a baseball coach. He was a member of Praise Healing and Deliverance Temple Fellowship Assemblies, Paterson. Arrangements: LaGarde Family Funeral Home, Clifton.

GREGORIO D. PONCIANO, 102, of Hasbrouck Heights and Sunnyvale, Calif., died Sunday. He was born in the Philippines. Before retiring, he was a maintenance worker for the Beverly Manor Nursing Home, Los Altos, Calif. Arrangements: Costa Memorial Home, Hasbrouck Heights.

MATILDA MURNICK PRICE of Tenafly died Monday. She was a member of Temple Emanu-El, Closter, and its Sisterhood, a founding member of the Queens Chapter of Hadassah, and a former member of the Englewood Chapter of Hadassah. Arrangements: Louis Suburban Chapel, Fair Lawn.

JEAN MASONE RAPPISE, 91, of Garfield died Monday. Arrangements: Aloia Funeral Home, Garfield.

ALAN ROSENBERG, 66, of Pompton Lakes, formerly of Wayne, died Sunday. He was born in Belgium. Before retiring two years ago, he was a self-employed type and machine designer for 40 years. He was a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University, Teaneck. Arrangements: Jewish Memorial Chapel, Clifton.

SHIRLEY E. ROBIN SHEINUK, 81, of Glen Rock, formerly of Fair Lawn, died Sunday. Arrangements: Louis Suburban Chapel, Fair Lawn.

MICHAEL A. THOMPSON, 59, of Elmwood Park died Sunday. Before retiring in 1999, he was a warehouseman for Fisher Bros. Steel, Englewood, where he worked for 32 years. He was a member of Teamsters Local 560, Union City, and the New Jersey Teamsters Retirees Club. Arrangements: Patrick J. Conte Funeral Home, Elmwood Park.

ANN GRACE VANDER PORTEN of Springfield, Mass., formerly of Hasbrouck Heights and Jersey City, died Sunday. She was an executive assistant to the chief executive officer of the Springfield Housing Authority, where she worked for 16 years. She was a former parishioner of Holy Trinity R.C. Church, Hackensack. She was a former member of Trinity Council 747 of the Columbiettes, Hackensack, and past regent and past state treasurer of the Daughters of Isabella. Arrangements: G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, Hackensack.
