MARIANNE S. OSTRAND, 91, of Columbia, Md., formerly of Tenafly, died May 28. She was born in Germany and came to the United States in 1938. Before retiring in 1981, she was a physician and surgeon in New York City and Englewood for 41 years. She received a medical degree from the University of Bern, Switzerland, and completed a residency at Englewood Hospital, where she was an attending physician. She also saw patients at Bergen Pines Hospital. In 1985, she received the Golden Merit Award from the Medical Society of New Jersey.
