SHIRLEY ALLEN, 59, of Paterson died Oct. 17. Before retiring, she worked for the U.S. Postal Service in Paterson for 30 years. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Garfield. Arrangements: Bragg Funeral Home, Paterson.

CARL A. ANTENUCCI, 73, of Wyckoff, formerly of Ridgewood, died Tuesday. He had worked for Merrill Lynch in New York City for 41 years. He was a graduate of Queens College and received a master's degree in business and finance from New York University. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of the Ridgewood Country Club and served on its board of directors. Arrangements: C.C. Van Emburgh Funeral Home, Ridgewood.

ROBERT L. ARNOLD SR., 71, of Paterson died Oct. 17. He had worked for Union Camp, Moonachie. He was a member of Christ Temple Baptist Church, Paterson, and its male chorus. Arrangements: Bragg Funeral Home, Paterson.

MARIE E. BABROSKI, 92, of Teaneck died Wednesday. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph R.C. Church, Bogota. Arrangements: Petrik Funeral Home, Bogota.

HERBERT BIRNBERG, 59, of Wayne died Wednesday. Before retiring 12 years ago, he was a firefighter for the Clifton Fire Department for 25 years. He was past president of the Brotherhood of Temple Beth Tikvah, Wayne. He was past chancellor commander of Knights of Pythias Lodge 157, Wayne. Arrangements: Jewish Memorial Chapel, Clifton.

CLANCY GREEN DAVIS, 89, of Paterson died Saturday. She was a member of Assembly of God, Paterson. Arrangements: Bragg Funeral Home, Paterson.

VITO FLORIO, 96, of Palisades Park died Tuesday. He was born in Italy. He had owned Florio's Italian Bake Shop, Union City, and Lena's Dry Cleaners in Union City, Fort Lee, and North Bergen. Previously, he worked for Continental Baking Co. Arrangements: Blackley Funeral Home, Ridgefield.

HERBERT FRAZER, 67, of Mahwah died Wednesday. Before retiring, he was a town inspector and worked for Azzolina Feury and Raimondi Inc., both in Mahwah. He also was a civil engineer in Saudi Arabia. He was an Army veteran. Arrangements: Van Emburgh-Sneider Funeral Home, Ramsey.

NICHOLAS GRILLI, 87, of Toms River, formerly of Clifton, died Tuesday. Before retiring, he was co-owner of A. Grilli Ironworks, Clifton. Arrangements: Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, Van Houten Avenue, Clifton.

JOYCE HOLDEN, 47, of Hackensack died Tuesday. She had worked in the delicatessen department at ShopRite supermarket in Hackensack. Arrangements: G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, Hackensack.

VITO IULO, 55, of Galloway Township, formerly of Northvale, died Monday. He was a manager for Professional Hair Design salons. He was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War. Arrangements: Boakes Funeral Home, Mays Landing.

FRANK J. JOSEPH JR. of Dumont died Monday. Before retiring in 1984, he owned Frank Joseph Jr. Co., Bristol, R.I. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a parishioner of St. Mary R.C. Church, Dumont. Arrangements: Frech Funeral Home, Dumont.

HELEN C. CLANCY LEONARD, 85, of Wayne died Wednesday. She had been a reporter and freelance columnist for the Wayne Today newspaper. She was a graduate of Hunter College. Arrangements: Moore's Home for Funerals, Wayne.

DOROTHY MAZZOCHI-SPERONY, 74, of Hasbrouck Heights died Saturday. She was a parishioner of Corpus Christi R.C. Church, Hasbrouck Heights. Arrangements: Hennessey-Powell Funeral Home, Hasbrouck Heights.

KATHERINE HUGHES McNAMARA, 80, of Paterson, formerly of Totowa, died Wednesday. Before retiring in 1992, she was a telephone operator for A&P supermarket in Montvale, where she worked for 25 years. She was a parishioner of St. James R.C. Church, Totowa, and a member of the Leisure Club at St. Anthony R.C. Church, Paterson. She was a member of Columbiettes Council 240, Paterson, and the Central Chapter of the New Jersey State Columbiettes. She also was a member of the Passaic County Irish Cultural Society, West Paterson. Arrangements: DeLuccia-Lozito Funeral Home, Haledon.

MATTIE M. NOWLIN of Hackensack died Sunday. She was a member of Church of God, Paterson. Arrangements: Earl I. Jones Funeral Home, Hackensack.

VIRGINIA MARCHESANO PERAINO, 87, of Rochelle Park, formerly of Lodi, died Tuesday. Before retiring, she was a finisher for S&W Dress Co., Garfield, and a member of the International Ladies' Garment Workers Union Local 45, Passaic. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph R.C. Church, Lodi. She was a member of AARP and the Lodi Senior Citizens. Arrangements: Santangelo Funeral Home, Lodi.

ANGELINA GARRONE PERNO, 91, of Garfield died Tuesday. Before retiring in 1973, she was a dressmaker for Visco Dress, Rutherford, where she worked for 40 years, and was a member of the International Ladies' Garment Workers Union in Passaic. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Virgin R.C. Church, Garfield. She was a member of Garfield Golden Agers and AARP. Arrangements: Aloia Funeral Home, Garfield

PHILIP RIGOLOSI, 71, of Garfield died Tuesday. Before retiring in 1994, he was a restaurateur and owned the Song Bird in Passaic, Dario's in Paterson, and Casa Blanca, P.J.'s, and Gucci's, all in Garfield. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Virgin R.C. Church, Garfield. Arrangements: Aloia Funeral Home, Garfield.

CARMELA N. SPERANZA, 91, of Little Falls died Wednesday. Before retiring, she was a sales clerk for The Browse, Fair Lawn, where she worked for 20 years. Previously, she worked for Canadian Furs, Passaic. Arrangements: Bizub-Parker Funeral Home, Little Falls.

MIRIAM E. FEGLEY STEPHAN, 85, of Lower Township, formerly of Ramsey, died Tuesday. She was a former member of Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, Ramsey. Arrangements: Van Emburgh-Sneider Funeral Home, Ramsey.

CARMELA D'AZZENA TAGLIARINO, 85, of West Paterson, formerly of Bayonne, died Wednesday. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church, Bayonne. Arrangements: Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, Fairfield.

ELINORE O'DONNELL WISELY, 86, of Wayne died Wednesday. Before retiring in 1972, she was an assistant tax collector in Wayne for 20 years. Arrangements: Vander May Wayne Colonial Funeral Home, Wayne.
