He was an Army veteran of World War II and received the Purple Heart and Silver Star. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5084, Elmwood Park. EDAMAY BIALKO, 79, of Jersey City died Sunday. Before retiring in 1988, she was a nurse at Bellevue Hospital, New York City, where she worked for 40 years. She was a graduate of the Bellevue School of Nursing and New York University. She was a member of New York State Nurses Association and a trustee of the Bellevue Alumnae Association. She was a member of the Church of the Covenant, Jersey City, where she had been chairwoman of the Administrative Board and the Pastor/Parish committee, and president of the board of trustees and the United Methodist Women.
