FRANK E. BAENZIGER, 79, of Wood-Ridge, formerly of Hasbrouck Heights, died Saturday. Before retiring, he was a tool and die maker for Continental Can Co., Clifton. He was an Army veteran of World War II and served in the Army before retiring as a lieutenant colonel in 1983. He was a member of the Reserve Officers Association. Arrangements: Costa Memorial Home, Hasbrouck Heights.

MARION A. SMITH COLFAX, 85, of Ringwood died Saturday. Before retiring in 1982, she worked for Avon Co. in Suffern, N.Y., for 20 years. She was a member of Ringwood Community Presbyterian Church. She was a former member of the Ringwood Volunteer Fire Company 1 Auxiliary. Arrangements: D'Agostino Funeral Home, Wanaque.

ISABEL LEIRA DIAZ, 72, of East Rutherford died Friday. She was born in Cuba. She had been a packing inspector for AirWic, Carlstadt. Arrangements: Kimak Funeral Home, Carlstadt.

NUNZIA SORANNO DITARANTO, 84, of Paterson died Friday. She was born in Italy and came to the United States in 1968. Before retiring in 1977, she was a seamstress in Paterson. She was a parishioner of St. Anthony R.C. Church, Paterson. Arrangements: Festa Memorial Funeral Home, Totowa.

LENA CUPO DOE, 88, of Garfield died Saturday. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Virgin R.C. Church and a member of the Belmont Garden Seniors, both in Garfield. Arrangements: Aloia Funeral Home, Garfield.

WALTER R. FEHRLE, 83, of Ridgewood died Friday. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a graduate of Columbia University, New York City. Arrangements: C.C. Van Emburgh Funeral Home, Ridgewood.

PATRICIA M. GALLEGAN, 62, of Lodi died Saturday. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph R.C. Church, Lodi. Arrangements: Santangelo Funeral Home, Lodi.

ALICE M. DARBY GELALIA, 62, of Dumont, formerly of Bergenfield, died Saturday. Before retiring this year, she was a secretary for Sandvik Steel, Fair Lawn, where she worked for 20 years. She was a parishioner of St. Mary R.C. Church, Dumont. Arrangements: Frech Funeral Home, Dumont.

LILLIAN C. GMITRUK, 52, of Bergenfield died Friday. She was born in England. She had been a consumer products spe#####t. Arrangements: Riewerts Memorial Home, Bergenfield.

BLANCHE COHEN BERENSON GOLDES of Park Ridge died Friday. Before retiring, she was an accounting clerk for Kopeland and Gold, New York City. Arrangements: Louis Suburban Chapel, Fair Lawn.

HELEN SCHMIDT GRUENLER, 94, of Waldwick died Saturday. She was born in Germany. Arrangements: Vander Plaat Funeral Home, Wyckoff.

JOHN W. "BILL" HAGEDORN, 84, of Midland Park died Friday. Before retiring in 1986, he was a custodian for Citizens First National Bank, Ridgewood, where he worked for 30 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of Midland Park Christian Reformed Church and its choir and Men's Society. Arrangements: Vander Plaat Funeral Home, Wyckoff.

RICHARD HARRIS of Hackensack died Thursday. He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church, Hackensack. Arrangements: Earl I. Jones Funeral Home, Hackensack.

MIROSLAWA BAHNYCKY LAHOWY, 88, of Paterson died Saturday. She was born in Ukraine and came to the United States in 1951. Before retiring in 1979, she was a machine operator for Marcal Paper Co., Elmwood Park, where she worked for 27 years. She was a member of St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church and the Ukrainian Women's Organization, both in Passaic. She also was a member of the Paterson Seniors. Arrangements: Marrocco Memorial Chapel, Colfax Avenue, Clifton.

NANCY J. MARCIANO, 55, of Franklin Lakes, formerly of Oakland, died Saturday. She had been co-owner of the Franklin Lakes Pharmacy for 20 years. Arrangements: Oakland Memorial Home.

EDWARD MARAKOVITS, 76, of Clifton died Friday. He was born in Austria and came to the United States in 1947. Before retiring in 1989, he was a chemical operator for Hoffmann-LaRoche Inc., Nutley, where he worked for 25 years and was a member of its Retirees Association. He was a parishioner of Holy Trinity R.C. Church, Passaic, and a member of its choir and Golden Agers. He was a member of the General Sick Benefit Society, Passaic, and the Burgenlaender-American Benefit Society. Arrangements: Shook Funeral Home, Clifton.

MARGARET DUKE MEYERS, 86, of Ramsey died Saturday. She was a parishioner of St. Paul R.C. Church, Ramsey. She was a member of The Valley Hospital Auxiliary. Arrangements: Van Emburgh-Sneider Funeral Home, Ramsey.

CARMELA MONTAGNA of Paterson died Saturday. Before retiring, she was a self-employed beautician. She was a parishioner of Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church, Paterson, and a member of its Leisure Club. She also was a member of the Riverside Veterans Auxiliary. Arrangements: Scillieri Funeral Home, Paterson.

GLADYS M. DeGEYTER MUSA, 66, of Prospect Park, formerly of North Haledon, died Friday. She had been an assembler for Flextronics, Parsippany. She was a parishioner of St. Paul R.C. Church, Prospect Park. Arrangements: Browning-Forshay Funeral Home, Hawthorne.

ERNEST PALAZZOLA, 64, of Hackensack died Friday. He had been a construction worker for A. Macchione Bros. Co., Hackensack. Arrangements: G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, Hackensack.

GLADYS H. HEADY POOLE, 90, of Butler died Friday. She was a member of the Butler Methodist Church. She had been co-chairwoman of the Morris County Chapter of the American Heart Association . Arrangements: Richards Funeral Home, Riverdale.

ALEXANDER F. TENN, 22, of Wyckoff died Thursday. He was a student at Bergen Community College, Paramus. He was a parishioner of St. Elizabeth R.C. Church, Wyckoff. He was a member of the Touch the World Ministries, Allendale, and the Tuesday Night Bible Study, Mahwah. Arrangements: Vander Plaat Funeral Home, Wyckoff.

STELLA "DOLLY" WORTHINGTON CROUTHAMEL VANDER PLAAT, 88, of New Bern, N.C., formerly of Paramus, died Thursday. She was a member of St. Andrew Lutheran Church, New Bern, and a former member of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, Paramus. Arrangements: Vander Plaat Memorial Home, Paramus.

LOLITA E. GREENING WOOD, 89, of Hackettstown, formerly of Fair Lawn, died Friday. Before retiring, she was a cafeteria worker for the Fair Lawn Board of Education, where she worked for 30 years. She was a member of Van Riper Ellis-Broadway Baptist Church, Fair Lawn. Arrangements: Browning-Forshay Funeral Home, Hawthorne.

JULES ZARCHIN of Boca Raton, Fla., formerly of Paterson, died Thursday. He had a dental practice in Paterson. He was a graduate of the Temple University School of Dentistry, Philadelphia. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He performed volunteer dental work for the Cerebral Palsy Center, Clifton. He was a member of Temple Emanuel, Paterson, where he had served as president and was a member of its Choral Society. Arrangements: Robert Schoem's Menorah Chapel, Paramus.
