Mrs. Irene G. Clark
Funeral services for Mrs. Irene G. Clark, age 89, of West Monroe were June 19, at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe. Interment was at Douglas Cemetery, near Ruston.
Clark was born October 18, 1914 in Darbonne and died Thursday, June 17 in Monroe.
Clark was preceded in death by her parents, John Franklin Gullett and Agnes L. Gullett; brothers, James, Jack, Jimmy Gullet, sister: Ollie Mae Simpson,; husband, Ruby L. Clark; daughter-in-law, Joann Gullett.. Mrs. Clark was a loving mother and grandmother.
Survivors are: son, Billy Wayne Gullett Sr. of West Monroe ; six grandchildren, Billy Wayne and Kathryn Gullett Jr. of West Monroe, Carmon and Jeff Crowell of West Monroe, Angela and Rick Standridge of Clinton, Ark., Debra and Ed Strange of Shirley, Ark., Mike and Gloria Boyd of Judsonia, Ark., Mark and Anne Boyd of Judsonia, Ark.; sister: Ruby Newsom of Orlando, Fla.; nine great grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren.
Joann Gullett
Funeral services for JoAnn Gullett of West Monroe were June 13 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home Chapel in West Monroe with Rev. Rodney J. Sanders officiating. Interment followed at Douglas Cemetery in Ruston under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe.
Gullett died June 11 at her home following a lengthy illness.
Gullett was preceded in death by her parents Reed and Mary Williams and a son-in-law Charlie Kerrigan.
Gullett is survived by her husband, Billy W. Gullett, Sr.; three daughters, Angela Standridge and husband Rich, Debra Strange and husband Ed, Carmon Crowell and husband Jeff; three sons, Billy Gullett, Jr. and wife Kathryn, Mike Boyd and wife Gloria, Mark Boyd and wife Annie; sister, Patsy Davis; nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
Gladys L. Griggs Chatham
Funeral services for Gladys L. Chatham, 88, of Chatham was June 20 at First Baptist Church in Chatham. Officiating was Rev. Johnnie Smith and Rev. Bill More. Interment was at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Chatham.
Chatham died June 18 in West Monroe.
Chatham attended First Baptist Church in Chatham. She retired from Riverwood with over 28 years of services. Chatham was affectionately known as Quilt Lady since quilting was her favorite pastime. Chatham was preceded in death by her husband Rutherford Chatham; a son, Jimmy Hayes Chatham; grandchildren, Ricky Lynn McKnight and Debra Darlene McKnight and a great grandchild, Rodney Gryder II.
Survivors include six children, Donald Chatham and wife Sharon of Chatham, Janett Gray and husband Louis of Chatham, Richard Chatham and wife Brenda of Jonesboro, Peggy Eskanzy and husband Bob of Scottsville, Virginia, Tommie Chatham and wife Patsy of Chatham, Gary Chatham and wife Betty of Magnolia, Ark.; 21 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Mike Chatham, Lewis Chatham, Wayne Chatham, Brian Chatham, Richie Chatham, Bobby McKnight, Scott Mcknight and Seth Chatham.
Honorary pallbearers were Walter May, Herman Lenard, John Barfoot and Bill Cox.
