Harry C. Sebastian
FARMINGTON -- Mr. Harry C. Sebastian, 79, passed away February 13, 2002, at Parkland Health Center, Farmington. Harry was born November 15, 1922, in Farmington, to Nathaniel Cook Sebastian and Victoria "Heitman' Sebastian. Preceding-in-death were: One sister, Bernice Martin and one brother Joe Sebastian, at a young age.
Harry was: A member of Libertyville Christian Church; a cattle farmer in the area for many years; former member, Busiek School Board; member, Missouri Cattlemen's Association and former member and Past-President of St. Francois County Farm Bureau. Harry and Merceliete would have celebrated their 55th Wedding Anniversary, February 15, 2002.
Survivors include: his wife, Merceliete Margaret "Hicks' Sebastian, Farmington; one son: Larry (and Pam) Sebastian, Farmington; brother: Carl (and Glenda) Sebastian, Farmington; grandchildren: Jeff (and Carla) Sebastian, Valles Mines; Wendy and Brandi Sebastian, both of St. Louis; great-granddaughter: Megan Sebastian, Fenton; step-great-grandchildren: Casey, Valles Mines and Cory, St. Louis. Also, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation starts today, 4 p.m., resumes Friday morning at 7 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Service, Farmington. Funeral Friday, 2 p.m., February 15, 2002, at Libertyville Christian Church with Rev. Dan Bowling officiating. Interment, Libertyville Christian Cemetery. Memorials: Libertyville Christian Church.
Rev. Emmett White
Rev. Emmett White, 71, Patterson, formerly of Irondale, died April 17, 2002.
His is survived by wife, Barbara White; daughters: Anita Matzker, Jackie White, Pamela Henson; sons: Donald White, David White, Jesse White, Mike White, Steve White, Joe White, Ronald H. White; sisters: Glenda Miller, Margie Spier; brothers: Edward White, Rev. Harry White, Raymond White, Rev. Harold White; 30 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.

Julia Willis
FARMINGTON -- Julia Marie Willis, 19, passed away in Farmington, August 12, 2002, as the result of an automobile accident. Julia was born on April 24, 1983, in Clayton, Missouri. She was preceded-in-death by: her father, Stephen Adams and her grandmother, 'Me-Me' Wanda Willis.
Julia was a graduate of Farmington Senior High School, Class of 2001; she was active in the FHS Color Guard and Winter Guard; she attended Farmington First Assembly of God Church where she was a part of the 'U-Turn Youth Group.'
Survivors include: her mother, Beverly Kay Willis; one son, Tylor Matthew Willis; one sister, Jenni Willis and one brother, Jacob Willis, all of Farmington. Also surviving are: several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation starts today at 6:00 p.m., resumes Friday at 7:00 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Service, Farmington. The funeral will be Friday, 1:00 p.m., August 16 at Farmington First Assembly of God Church, Farmington, with Rev. Hugh Cerutti officiating. Interment will follow at Big River Cemetery, Irondale. Mable Koester
Mable Esther Koester of Farmington passed away on December 15, 2002, at the Camelot Nursing Center at the age of 84 years. She was born on October 24, 1918, in Koester, MO, the daughter of the late Carl and Ida Pearl (Henroid) Koester.
Before her retirement, Ms. Koester worked for the Pittsburg-Plate Glass Co. as a factory worker. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Her love in life was "children." She traveled around the country to research genealogy and was also an accomplished artist.
She is survived by a brother, Clyde Koester of Bettendorf, IA, three sisters, Golda Kilmer of Farmington, Geraldine Harter of Springfield, IL, Bernice Wright of Farmington, and a foster sister, Locel Tyree of Farmington. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Friends may call at the Cozean Memorial Chapel after 6 p.m. on Tuesday, December 17, 2002. Funeral services will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on Wednesday at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at the Hall Cemetery at French Village. Memorials may be directed to the Arthritis Foundation.
